Question: if a ship is half built and you sell it, would the buyer buy it from the shipyard or from the person who ordered the boat? would the buyer then be able to negotiate the price and design of the unfinished portion of ship or is that "fixed" by the original contract and beyond the point of being modified because parts alreayd ordered/under construction and only the interior fittings can be changed by new owner?

Overall if you offset your carbon emisssions (in a genuine non-greenwashed/nonsense way) then your net contribution to CO2 in the atmosphere can be zero or negative, calling it hippocritical is a pretty superfiical analysis. Bill Gates has done far more for the enviroment and healthcare then pretty much anyone else I can think of with a net zero CO2 footprint.

Overall if you offset your carbon emisssions (in a genuine non-greenwashed/nonsense way) then your net contribution to CO2 in the atmosphere can be zero or negative, calling it hippocritical is a pretty superfiical analysis. Bill Gates has done far more for the enviroment and healthcare then pretty much anyone else I can think of with a net zero CO2 footprint.
