I've always loved the original, and this version too, but, again, just like the new Version of "The King Will Come", there is that SAME imbalance, just for 2 different reasons. The vocal doubling on this one works very well, because the layers have been stripped of so much 1.5Khz or so... it suits it here, unlike "The King Will Come", where the vocals occupy way too much high mids. HERE, The left guitar is just WAY too loud, covering up the beautiful SNARE Ghost Notes. OVERALL, it's a great performance, as usual, full of energy, dynamics, and the vocals are better than ever. Well done!!! But, again, The old, overdriven bass tone that has always been such a signature sound is THERE, just not overdriven enough to cut through and truly make it a 3rd Harmony part like it did on the 1st V.
