Trust me as an experienced trucker... you need to have one to communicate with other truckers to find out about road hazards etc especially in the winter
I have a question guys, hopefully by the end of this month I start working for swift,,I dont have no experience,,I just wanted to know can you Denied loads to NY city, reason because ima be a new driver n I'm afraid to deal with a big city n bunch of traffic n I'm afraid that I mite get trap or get in a Situation that I can't get out of,,
@@gongutierrez4748 yes sir absolutely. Swift is “no forced dispatch” meaning if you dont wanna take the load, you can deny it fo whatever reason. I denied a route to New York my first month. After I accepted a few NY loads. Drove through city but usually delivered on outskirts of town/countryside. Like Syracuse, Buffalo, Amsterdam.
@@gongutierrez4748 hey gutierrez, every trucker out there was in your shoes Once I have videos of bloopers myself I need to upload them subscribe to keep up
@justin-reed thanks bro, n yes I'm kinda nervous going out of states,,to be honest I never been outside Texas lol,n hopefully I don't get in a situation that I can't get out off,,ima try to avoid this big cities like NY, I'm guessing the smaller the city, the smaller traffic is lol,,,but yes brother ima subscribe to ur channel,n hopefully I get a cool Mentor trainner that will understand a Rookie driver,,I'm from Houston incase anyone wanna be my trainer soon lol
@@gongutierrez4748 you’re already a good driver. If you can, drive in Texas in a car you can drive anywhere in a big truck. Letting you know right now, Texas (I10 and Dallas) and Georgia (ATL/I75) are the worst states to drive in. Ask any trucker. You’ll make mistakes, so look forward to it. Best thing to do when you do make mistakes learn from it.
Maybe mount the camera on the dash, or hand held at times. It.s just bouncing all around, up and down, left then right checking mirrors, getting sea sick lol !! Keep up the good work and stay safe.
@@preciousseymour440 no. Because swift doesn’t require endorsements. you get access to more jobs that require endorsements like Fedex and UPS requires doubles and Walmart requires hazmat
Great video! Can't wait to see more videos and your channel get bigger your doing really well.
