@@somethinfunny7114 Saying that is somewhat of a lie. It would have slight differences in the carvings as seen in surviving pieces of Titanic's aft staircase, forward B-Deck and C-Deck layout would be slightly altered, more cabins, doors on the side of B-Deck are two sets of double doors instead of two doors to a promenade, but most of Titanic's staircase would've been the same as Olympic's. so we have an idea of how it looks, but saying nobody knows is somewhat a lie.
While it is similar, this staircase borrows more elements from the original design of her sister ship, the RMS Britannic, before she was transformed into HMHS Britannic, a hospital ship during World War I. Also, I believe she means the rotunda of the United States Capitol building, as the White House, to my knowledge, does not have a domed rotunda. Also, many people have said this already, but it is not SS Titanic, but RMS Titanic as she was a Royal Mail Steamer, carrying mail for the British government, hence the title of RMS. But all in all, a beautiful, if not exact, recreation. Sincerely, a Titanic history nerd
actually ss and rms are both correct, she was under the title of rms but ss means steam ship, which she was, and if you look at her lifeboats you will see ss
Would've looked better if it was more exact. looks like a tacky walmart version of the grand staircase. Apart from the dome, it's not really comparable to Titanic.
As you can tell by the comparison the stairs weren’t center carpeted and the blatant exclusion of the center rail. Also the statue was only on the center rail it never had two statues. Even then those statues aren’t the cherub statue anyways
Aside from the wrought iron balustrades and the carving details; this staircase is NOT at ALL a replica of the Staircase on the RMS Olympic or Titanic. 0:39 - "The research that went into every little detail making this staircase EXACTLY like what was on the Titanic..." = FAKE NEWS! How is this a replica of the Grand Staircase on the doomed vessel? I can clearly see that the Titanic Staircase INSPIRED this one but to say it is a replica (yet alone an EXACT replica) is simply incorrect. I also laughed that the narrator boasted about the Mahogany wood - the Titanic's Staircase was Oak.
I think the reason why they said exact is because the grand staircase is share the same elements on the grand staircase of the titanic you could see those element were exactly just like the titanic grand staircase even the dome just like from the ship although it may have different shape but it share the same element from the R.M.S Titanic
If I had enough money I would make literally the exact replica of the grand staircase from top to bottom and then on the bottom would be a Turkish bath in a swimming pool and every floor would be exactly what Titanic floor would have in it so would be a house but it will look exactly like Titanic now all I got to do is come up with a ton of fucking money... But hey one problem at a time haha
@Logan Jones. billon really? Well that's not true they built the exact replica for the movie Titanic and that movies whole budget was 200 million dollars and they built a third of the entire ship
5 years ? It took less to fit the real RMS TITANIC out with hand tools. Lovely room but it’s not an exact replica. Dimensions are wrong, colouring is wrong. Class dome well done.
It is great but: 1. She keeps referring the Titanic as a “movie" and not a real thing! Jack Dawson isn't real lady. I may forgive you if you mention Maggie or John Jacob Astor instead! 2. Its not even close to the Titanic but she keep referring the staircase as “exact" replica but it isn't. 3. There's no known pictures of Grand Staircase of Titanic so its Olympic's And SS and RMS is basically acceptable like SS Mauretania/SS Aquitania(1916)

titanics grand staircase was not made of mahogany it was made of red oak google it before you do stuff like that also that is not at all like the titanics

"SS TITANIC"
RMS titanic tho
Technically it is ss Titanic
It is a steam ship and a royal mail ship so both are just right
Right, it seems wrong when people say S.S., but she was technically both
@Logan Jones. i know, im saying that it's both rms and ss
Both are correct.
It's beautiful, captures the feel, but it's not exact
exactly!!! captures the feel, but is not an exact replica.
What's the point of spending all that money if it's not gonna be exactly the same. That would drive me crazy knowing that it's not exact.
No one actually knows what the grand staircase of the titanic looks like
The pictures and other things you see is the grand staircase of the Olympic

The dome is just fabulous.

"An exact replica", shows side by side pictures, they don't share any details.
Sorry...it says actual not exact.
It’s so wrong, they said they put so much research into it to make it look exactly like titanic and it is so wrong
They share some details
House8 it’s fine
Well you cant make it exactly the same becose it doesnt fit in the house decor and its close enough.

The olympic class and most white star liners had oak wood, not mahogany, and there was no carpet on the stairs, and it was linolium
As a Titanic Expert, I am very mad she said S.S. and not R.M.S.
Lol if you were a titanic "expert" then you would know both are correct. 🤦♂️
Titanic 2 engine cylinder engineering diesel generator room
Incredibly beautiful.
Wasn’t the stair case made of Oak?
Regardless the staircase definitely captures the feel of the Olympic class grand stair case, it’s beautiful.
It was. It was much less dark than this one.
Its beautiful but it does not look like the one in titanic at all...

And, shortly after filming this, Leonardo Dicaprio did show up. walked down those stairs and urinated his name on the wallpaper.
RMS Titanic and that's not accurate to the ship because the cherubs are wrong and windows are in wrong place

Definitely not enough research done
It’s definitely inspired by the titanic - but it’s not a replica
Cat comes in and scratches the mahogany wood. What would u do?
With the kind of money it took to replicate that staircase I would just kiss the cat and have it repaired. Money is not an issue here.
Actually it was rms titanic........
Not ss titanic
Claw 005 SS is still correct
True but I like calling it rms titanic
I’m a huge titanic fan
Titanic was a steam ship so it’s ss titanic
I want to see the rest of the house
1.28 actually it was Kate Winslet who walked the stairs down in the Film^^
"walked down the stairs"
A bit macabre to make a part of your house a replica of a vessel tons of people perished in...
There a lot of love for this ship I look at where it waz build every day nice to c this

Stunning fabulous work.
You do realize the Titanic was real, yeah? You keep referring to it as only a movie
This isn't a 'replica'.
I feel the presenter doesn’t understand what is meant by ‘exact replica’
5 years ? It took less to fit the real RMS TITANIC out with hand tools. Lovely room but it’s not an exact replica. Dimensions are wrong, colouring is wrong. Class dome well done.
It’s just missing the middle arm support
its rms titanic!!!
It's also SS Titanic.
If I want a house I would want a exact replica of the actual grad staircase all the way down to Scotland road
Kool
Not the exact same thing but it has the same details and this one is a bit more grand 😆
It’s not the SS.Titanic it’s the RMS.Titanic and they are not exactly the same
It was RMS Titanic 😭
RMS, not SS. Plus the wood in the grand staircase was oak, not mahogany. Do your research!
English Oak to be perfectly exact. Not much a difference lol but still
SS stands for sister ship. you know RMS Titanic AKA SS Titanic
SS stands for steam ship not sister ship
Lmao “SS TITANIC”
Where is this place?
Actually it's the RMS titanic
Whoever made this video and whoever narrated it are clueless. This is not an exact replica.
depressing !!!
Isn't it illegal?
This staircase is from e deck
Wow this makes me feel amazed, i love it even tho i never gonna have a house like that xd
I could not afford the nails that put the stairs together 🤦🏻♂️
I don’t get it.
RMS * Titanic , not SS Titanic
It was both.
It’s not the “SS Titanic” it’s the “RMS Titanic”
It's both.

Both are correct as Titanic was a Steam Ship and a Royal Mail ship so both are ok.
What they mean exactly XD
it looks nothing like the Titaic thing
Well it wasn’t exactly made it was too long it needed to be wider and it needed rail in the middle

it’s both

How do you make an "exact replica" of the Titanic grand staircase without the central handrail and cherub lamp??
Titanic wooden pineapple titanic museum in Orlando Florida
What's the name of the house?
It isn’t an exact replica, the staircase takes some elements from it. Though the dome is exact
Actually, the dome isn't even 100% accurate, the original one had an elliptical shape, it wasn't a circle
@@blubiddyblurp8498 Well, the Aft Grand Staircase dome was a circle. But I agree that the Forward one was better looking.
