I was in Ohio doing agriculture imagery with my drone. I seen the guy had to file a police report. People think they can just shoot whenever they feel like. That guy found out the hard way to shoot drone out the sky is illegal.
Had a guy shoot at mine a couple weeks ago as well. People are crazy. I was nowhere near the guys house either.
I had kids on 4th of july aim those bottle rockets at my drone. Lot of stupid people in the world.
You know that’s a felony and you need to report it.
I never needed a thermal drone, I have a German shepherd that will take me right to a deer, no looking. Friends will come and borrow her. As far as a drone invading my air space/privacy, the owner may never see their toy again...
I really like your videos please keep them coming , I really wanted you to found that boys deer for him, but that's how it goes sometimes. Mike keep up the good work 👍
Kentucky considering banning drones AND cellular trail cameras on public property. Some federal property already doesn't allow drones for any reason, other than law enforcement under special circumstances, or scientific wildlife research by state or federal agencies. Something to consider. Put yourself in a tree on public and have a drone fly by YOU, and see how much YOU like it. Even if they might be searching for a possibly downed deer where legal, they are also seeing YOU, seeing where YOU hunt, and seeing the deer in your area while YOU are hunting those deer. Is it possible to search for a deer carcass and ignore the scouting aspect of it? Even if the drone operator could care less, the customers that hunt that area are making notes, guarantee it. Another thought is, if you find a wounded big buck and it's not dead, what is to keep those customers from converging on that wounded deer the next day, especially during rifle season? This is NOT fair chase in my opinion. What if you are hunting on the neighboring property and that big buck they wounded has been showing up on your trail cam all season. They know exactly where that deer is for TOMORROW'S HUNT. The more I think about any of this, the less appealing it becomes.
You sound like the person who shot at it. Completely ignorant of any laws and safety concerns. A Cessna 150 could do the same work as a drone, are you going to shoot at that too?
You can't hunt at night, so let the thermal drone come in then.
@@jackshetta cessna 150 is not easily available for what the drones are capable of doing you can’t hover a cessna 150 at 400ft with thermal imaging….So you can’t compare these two. … I have had one instance where someone flew a drone over my property and hovered over it. At that point it could be considered by some as invasion of privacy and they can even go as far as saying it’s trespassing….would you like someone hovering a drone over your house and possible using it to scout you personal belongings or even worse looking at your wife or kids sitting out by the pool….if this is done at night and no ill intent I’m all for any means to recover a animal but I see this becoming an issue regardless of which side of the fence you are on….
And yes I have used drone recovery for a downed deer and was successful in finding it.
I’m just stating the facts that people like to ignore and one of them being people will use this as a scouting measure and I know of one that had is drone seized by game and fish because they considered it aiding in a hunt the next day even though the deer was wounded the hunter went in the next day and killed it and the drone operator got charged as well
@@ROCKHNTRas much as I would believe you I absolutely think you are lying. Please link the media coverage of a deer being poached after a drone saw it the night before and then the hunter went in during legal shooting hours and killed it. I would be willing to pay you $50 if you can prove to me that you paid for a thermal drone to recover a deer. I think you are talking out of your ass.
Wait till someone's drone flies in your area while you are hunting, or doing anything else for that matter and see how you like it. I was in a public area jogging and a drone flew over me. I did not appreciate it AT ALL. @@jackshett
Not wanting to find peoples carcasses as narrated at 1:17.Rather they be Deer!LOL
hahaahaha he was blasting. good videos...keep up the good work
at 15 yds with a crossbow and the kid cant hit the vitals i wouldnt even have him shoot till he gets better.
Is this worth watching? Last one was clickbait.
I have been watching DDR for awhile now and cant believe how many deer get wounded
And that just pertains to larger bucks... lots of smaller bucks and doe shot not recovered or reported. This eventually happens to all hunters, if you hunt long enough...
I have a friend/ coworker who is an anti hunter that is always putting these videos in my face and anyone else that will watch, as a hunter it bothers me that these animals suffer the consequences of poor shot placement or lack of practice, I also had no idea so many are wounded.
I made this same comment on their earlier videos. It’s mind boggling the amount of people that have no business hunting but still do. I always get the reply of “it happens to everyone” or “if you hunt long enough it will happen to you”. I’m 40 now and have been hunting for as long as I can remember, never made a bad shot or lost a deer. Those are just excuses for poor shooting and bad decisions. If you can’t make an ethical shot then don’t shoot. It’s really as simple as that.
What’s the link to put me on for central Florida?
Although I love your videos and support your work I will say we were harassed by a drone this hunting season and we did shoot it down and went and warned the owner if he Flys over our tree stand again while we're legally hunting our ground he will be visited again and he won't like it ps. He stopped over us then buzzed us and then lit us up with a spot light from the drone 22 mins before legal light ended
your actions were illegal unless he was spying into your windows, he was allowed to fly over your property. I suggest you pay for the damages you caused and apologize
Mike!
Is this technically not allowed because you don't have a visual line of sight of the drone or are you permitted? just curiious
They are in the line of sight which is why they have high-intensity LEDs and a spotter. Perfectly legal for commercial drone use.
Unsubcribed. They are delteting and policing comments
You all about some fake drama. When you started your videos were good. Now it's all about trying to sell overpriced drone packages and made up bullshit. You bad as a infomercial.
Love the videos
Tesla ha, figures 😛😛😛🤪
man .,.,I gotta say .,.,is it really that bad ,..,so many injured deer is this normal or average.,.,??? is it like this in every state.,,tkzzc for sharing .,,.,.peace
Yes, a lot of hunters are hacks. I give the young guy a pass. He's just getting started.
I agree with you kid gets a pass forsake.,.,.,tkzzc peace@@Knotrockets
People don't know how to hunt, shoot or track anymore. Just glorified city hunters that rely on bait, trail cameras etc.
If you've ever been to a public shooting range then you would understand why. Most can't shoot for ":%$#.
Property owner does not own the air space above there property, The FAA controls the Air Space! Do Not Shoot One Down, the charge would be the same as shooting down a plane!
Its a Felony to shot at any Drone... could turn Federal specially whats considered a commercial part 107 license. Which im sure that's what he is flying under..
Did you ask permission. Soon flying drones will be considered trespassing if film is made public without consent. Hopefully sooner than later
Circumstances like this are going to be part of the territory with drones, it is an invasion of privacy and landowners have NO idea what the drone is being used for, especially could be used by high tech criminals scoping out residences.....we have no idea so the smucks here complaining about the drone being shot at need to quit assuming that everyone should know that it's an honest guy just operating a drone...that is not always the case so be prepared for major pushback and don't blame owners for being concerned! I think this is a cool technique but just because it's cool doesn't mean landowners know what's happening and aren't going to assume that it's all innocent in nature because you would have to be a naive fool to believe so. The only way to avoid this would to have a system in place that notifies the landowners in the area what is going on but that doesn't exist so don't be surprised when events like this happen, just understand that it's going to come with the territory.
People don't understand about drone pilots .. we're on a mission we're not spying ... .
Absolutely trespassing
I hope they didn’t shoot a deer with a .22 or AR-15. It’s just cruelty
So what does an outfit like that cost you total price? Really interested to know!
@@pioneerdroneoperations And that thing can haul a deer? Or is that a bigger model?
@@pioneerdroneoperationsfalse it’s the m30t cost 11k by itself plus batteries, Spotlight, mo pipe, etc. around 20k
Even if it was above that guys property its still illegal to shhot at it..That guy has a felony on his record coming his way if you report him.
Bullshite.educate yourself
Felony???
The felony should be for trespassing...by the drone.
@@normankaster917 google it...yes a Felony.
Air space is not trespassing, and yes a felony, wreckless discharge of a firearm at night time.
Who the hell flys a drone by a hunter in a treestand...lmao
The drones are 100 plus feet above your ass.
Good God these pissy people now days crack me up.
Do you own land? How would you feel if someone is flying over your land. Not knowing exactly what it going on? Logically you would assume someone is changing out your property. Just saying .. it's two points of view on this topic.
Could you please say people's deer carcasses? We both know you can find people's carcasses but you know how people are today 😢

Here to tell ya, if a drone is flying over my property, it’s coming down. They all have cameras and that’s called invasion of privacy. Learn the laws before you brag about what you are doing.
You should learn some. it’s not an invasion it’s public airspace. And shooting others property is illegal. According to Title 18 US Code 32, the destruction of an aircraft is considered a federal crime. The FAA and the NTSB consider all types of drones as aircraft, therefore protecting them under this law. This applies to all drones, whether they are used commercially or recreationally.
The irony... You don't own the sky and and clearly don't know the laws.
Not a good idea posting when you have no idea what your talking about.
There is a documented case that ruled a man innocent for shooting down a drone over his property. Judge ruled it was an invasion of privacy. Now if that was a gov drone or a drone working for the gov. Might be a different story
@@jackshettthe irony is your clueless bud
How is he operating under 107, flying at night, without lights, legally?
Trespassing laws need to apply to drones also. If it's over someone else's property you had it coming crybaby
Landowners don't own the airspace above the property
