Thank you Frederique! I am 67 and it is liberating! I am satisfied with my looks. So many have face lifts, fillers, and Botox. I don’t want to. I lost 40 pounds a year ago and I enjoy wearing younger clothes. I’m trying to do all I can for the best me.

I’m 63 this month. I agree with you. I too lost 40 plus pounds this last year. I had stopped using cosmetics in my late 50’s because I felt it made me look worse all of a sudden. Now I’m slowly re-learning how to apply cosmetics for a young at heart woman of a certain age. -I used to say I was going to do fillers and Botox but now, it’s not for me. I like me the way that I am BUT to each their own. 😊

Hi Jo, I'm 63 soon and have loads of wrinkles and my granddaughter always asks what's wrong with my face. I embrace them as I've had difficulties in my life and they are proof of it. I always think they keep me grounded and not vain. Congratulations on losing so much weight.

All good points, only one I would add is (sort of in lose weight) buy lots of fresh fruit and veggies. When you put nice things into your mouth and stomach it makes you feel good. Even if you don’t need to lose weight. Cook fresh and really enjoy your food

I have a friend who says “once you turn 60 you’re invisible”. She is partly right. Everything is Youth! I say put a smile on your face, be positive be confident and enjoy life !
@@bonniebenz8792 I am turning 60 in a few days...In some regard, I became completely invisible in my 50's. Stores seem to cater to the 20-30 somethings. The stores that are geared for "my age" think you want to wear embroidered daisies on your cropped pants or big bold old lady prints. It is really hard to find stylish clothing without spending $$$$. Don't even think about finding something that still has a whiff of sex appeal. I am not a cover your arms and wear sensible shoes type of woman. I still have/love date night. Shopping is no longer a joy for me because it has become an endless and costly scavenger hunt. Sometimes, I get bored of styling "basics". I am blessed with friends and co-workers who are in their 30's 40's and 50's +. Often I am the oldest person in a large meeting. I agree with you that a smile goes a long way as does a positive attitude and confidence. However, for me, feeling modern and relevant takes much more focus now than when I was 45.
@Chelle Bright I can almost guarantee you that my generation will change ageism. I'm almost 40, have always preferred the company of more experienced humans, and as an esthetician I have seen where the beauty industry is headed in the next 20 years. Even as a 12 year old child I felt horrible for how the older gens were looked at and I knew that beauty, the want to feel beautiful, and sexual appeal didn't just dissipate into thin air once you have your 60th birthday. I already feel the weight of knowing the invisibility factor and know I am closer with each birthday, but I also have that feeling... We will change how maturity is viewed.
@@bonniebenz8792 I didn't get called "a goddess" or "hot" until I was 64, and had lost 60 pounds as well as doing reformer Pilates regularly. I then was much healthier, stronger both mentally and physically, and felt confident (and, I dare say, sexy!). We don't have to become invisible at all! I now regularly compliment women and men who look great, regardless of their age.
This is so timely! I just, in the past few days, decided that I will walk the El Camino de Santiago in Spain next year. I went on my first 2 mile walk to begin my conditioning. 57 yo, mom of 7 and my last one is going to high school next year. I am excited !! Wish me well!

I love your videos. I'm 35 and I intend to age authentically. I internalized a lot of fear about aging from the women in my life, so I am taking active steps to rid myself of that mentality. One of those steps is taking notes from women like yourself who live vibrantly and authentically at every age. ✨

I turn 60 next week and appreciate all your content and find it very inspiring! I think wearing "timeless" pieces makes me appear more youthful (or at least harder to peg my real age)...and yes, mature/older are not great terms...the older I get, the more genuine, authentic, and confident I feel :-)

Love your earrings! Eleanor Roosevelt said we need to do something that scares us every day. We need to keep moving physically and feel challenged mentally, spiritually, emotionally. Don't the French say "une femme d'un certain age" for women pretty much into middle age and beyond? That's better than mature or older or aging, isn't it? Not to in any way champion overweight, but there are those women who are not an ideal weight who know how to dress and make-up and style themselves and in the case of someone like the brilliant Dawn French have lost weight at around age 60. She looks great, but is not skinny. Thank you for noting that the perfect Grecian dimensions are not natural to most women. You employed superb before & after photos of women who improved their looks subtly.

I like the word 'prime time' women ! Having recently lost 35 lbs with IF and am feeling so much happier with the way my clothes fit . Fortunately I've invested in many classic styles over the years so updating things isn't so imperative . Recently I bought 2 beautiful sweaters that are off shoulder style like the one you are wearing . Being in a heat wave at the moment means I have to wait for a cooler day to wear them - but they do make me feel sexy wearing them . Just last year I found a strapless bra that I like to wear with them . I've been very conscious over the years in avoiding common 'old lady' styles without dressing too young - it can be a fine line to walk .

Live each day to fullest. Draw positive from experiences to pull yourself up and recharge your soul. I adjust my makeup details and lighten when I'm having a rough day. Don't try to cover issues as it just weight you down. Less is more.

Congrats on 100,000 viewers. You look great. I do some Botox and fillers but only to renew and not exaggerate my looks. My niece has medispa so I not her work which is important. Fresh, clean food from the garden-yes. Good night sleep. I teach yoga and many women find yoga a wonderful way to stretch, strengthen their core and renew their mind. Surround yourself with positive people, and get outdoors in nature. Love your channel. Much love and light.

La beauté n’a pas d’âge et même si je suis encore dans la trentaine vos conseils sont complète applicables à ma tranche d’âge. Je me suis vraiment reconnue dans votre passage sur celles qui prennent des années à perdre leurs kilos de grossesse pcq ça m’est arrivé (3 ans, la honte lol)
Chirurgie esthétique ou pas Botox ou pas chacune fait ce qui lui plaît pour se sentir bien dans sa peau et ça ne devrait même pas figurer parmi les sujets eventuels de critique.

Another great video like we've come to expect. The only thing I'd have to say is, I don't feel you can say that you have a natural look when you use botox and fillers - but using them is a personal decision and each to their own. I don't mind my wrinkles or lines, I'm getting older, my lines are a sign of aging old but I see it as a privilege. x

I love all your tips especially the one about dressing your personality! I am 75 and I have always done this. When I was younger, I told myself that I would never dress "matronly" and I never have. I also think that we all need to maintain a healthy weight. And thank you for talking about fillers! I have never been a smoker but, as I aged, I developed very deep lines above my upper lip. I'm sure they had something to do with all the sun I had as a teenager! When I was in my '50s and 60's, I had filler put in and I'm actually thinking of having a little bit done now. I have it done just around my lips, not in my lips, so it looks natural. You look beautiful and very natural, so you do whatever is necessary as you age! 💖

Congratulations, Frederique on your subscriber numbers. I also retired last Summer. I do belong to an Athletic Club. But last year during Covid, everything was shut down in America, I really missed working out, missed talking to everyone, missed the book club. It was just my husband and I and our two cats for over a year. I am so glad the club is back open. I am going 4 days a week and would go more, but they have not built up their class schedule yet back to their usual normal schedule. I did get a part time job during tax season, so that keeps me busy from the end of January through beginning of May. Now that Massachusetts is starting to open up, I have been going to get my hair done, I let my hair grow during Covid and am enjoying the new long style. I have started to get my facials, and mani/pedis. I have been watching a lot of UA-cam videos and trying to update my wardrobe with new styles. We still haven't gotten together with family and friends yet. But we have gone out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday in Boston. So happy to get out of the house.
