Great initiative to respond to comments with another useful video. I trust your channel will be very popular, just don’t change to way you do things when it does, it’s great!
thanks for the update. glad i went long ago. and, yes, we had the place to ourselves. also, not so many rules.
You’re lucky! Would love to have seen it back then!
Same here in '89 and did the trail in mid-Sept. w/no rules or time limits other than the suggestion of foot ware. Also State Dept. warning issued as the Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) was in full operation. A Danish couple were done away with (no other appropriate word for the algorithm) because they strayed off the trail. We also did the additional hike to Huayna Picchu which wasn't mentioned so I wonder if that's off limits now as well. It was indeed the experience of a lifetime.
Your channel should be huge in a short time..... Love your productions!
Thank you!
Thank you for saving me the trip. The crowds alone is a reason to avoid it. I'll keep my subscription to National Geographic 👍 Why is it a sacred location? Isn't it just an abandoned city in the mountains?
Great Vid and Tips Cheerz bro 🫵😎
God bless ✝️✝️✝️
Such a beautiful and sacred space. Can't stand seeing disrespectful people sneaking in costumes like that...

Idiots are everywhere... Unfortunately.
I tend to agree.
@@windowseatworldtravel Do you really...it seemed you found it rather amusing...especially as you videoed the thing a couple of times, giving those bad-mannered guys lots of air-time, considering.?!
Yeah, we do. Really.
just saying, another popular method to visit machu picchu is to stay in the first train stop at the town of Ollantaytambo for a night.
Thank you for the follow-up!
Patrick
el tren desde aguas calientes necesita reservacion? o se llega directo a la estacion?
Ty for the great info. I just got out entrance tucket for 2/2/25. Planning to stay 2/1/25 in AC coming from 1 night stay in Cusco. And leaving AC to Cusco on 2/3/25.
I read theres no need for tour guide. We have Circuit 2B. Do we need it? If so how much are they? Thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do we need your guide inside? Will they kick us out after 4 hours? Thank you for the reply.
I read the tickets were issued as circuit 1,2,3 and 4. is there such a thing as that? and what do you recommend?
We are going to Machu Picchu at the end of April (so pretty much the same time of year). Would you suggest a later entry time to let the cloud cover clear? I was initially planning on the 6 am entry, but upon watching both of your videos, I’m hesitant. One being the early clouds and two being the mention of only allowing 4 hours in the park (because we are willing to wait it out).
I would go a little later in the day
@@windowseatworldtravel thank you, for answering me! Your videos have been not only helpful but very entertaining as well!
Did you fly to Lima then to Cusco or straight to Cusco?
Loved both videos. Did you fly into Lima or straight into Cuzco?
We flew into Cuzco, but transferred in Lima both arriving and departing.
@@windowseatworldtravel gotcha!!! Thanks again for these fun videos. Hoping to visit this year 💓✨️
You don’t have to hire a guide to go in. I was there a few weeks ago and my friends and I just had a guide book!
omg are you seriou?! i don't wanna pay a guide. did you go in without one too?
Is there big bugs at Machu Picchu or Cusco or Agua Calientes? and if so, how big?
what about a small chest backpack? can i bring that?
I think you could probably get away with that.
@@windowseatworldtravel awesome. I was hoping to bring that and put my insta360 and osmo pocket cameras
@RohasTravels I think you can get away with that.
Did you two get altitude sickness?
Nope, thank goodness. But we both live in Denver - which is a mile above sea level - so that probably helps!
How do we buy the tickets for the ride , train and the bus ride in its entirety or they have to be bought separately ?
If you book through Viator or a similar online travel site, they can all be purchased together:
www.viator.com/tours/Cusco/Machu-Picchu-Day-Trip-from-Cusco/d937-5243MP1DAY
I hope they don't trash the place!
Would love to know more about clothing...proper attire. In some shots it appears to be cold and others rather warm. 🎉
The weather changed tremendously while we were there. I would bring layers. Maybe a rain jacket and a hoodie that you could peel off as it warms up
If you haven't had the foresight to book a tour '6 months in advice' is it still possible to use a local Lima based tour operator to get you on a tour at 'short notice? ( ie two or three days notice) I just wonder if local companies 'block book' tickets and therefore have a better chance of getting a prospective tourist in at short notice. Thank you. Graeme UK
You can get tickets the day before in Aguas Calientes -- 1000 are set aside -- but you'll have to wait in line. Tickets are specific to a particular person so, no, there are no block purchases by agencies.
Are any parts of it even vaguely disability friendly, or is it all stairs?
I think a disabled could navigate the visitors center and some of the mountain views, but the most iconic spots require stairs
I mean, they could have worn a Pichu costume instead, and maybe a Machoke one too?
😂
You can visit without a guide you have wrong information, please correct it
I am so confused about big backpacks. Like I see you and your boyfriend carrying huge backpacks. Also you have an extension pole for your GoPro which is basically a selfie stick correct? Also you have a plastic water bottle in your backpack when you said it is not allowed. Conflicting info like these are anxious inducing. Or I am just overthinking. Maybe I would just ask my tour guide a day before the climb?
Ha! First off, not boyfriend. We’re both married to women. Second, Ohr backpacks are small - the allowable size. And the only extender we have for our camera is a tiny hand held mount for the GoPro - about 12 inches long.
😅
:)
que si eres guapo ....
Ιn my opinion only the nature worths the visiting. The archeological site is not so important. No carvings, no statues,or nothing. Archeological sites you see in Greece, Italy, Egypt and Middle East.
And I quote: Macchupikachuu
I'm wondering why 124K subscribes are listening to your never ending beaching.
It sucks when people beach
