I like the idea of this Lord X being so weakened to the point of outright admitting defeat, like he just outright admits that there’s no point in attempting to deceive or mess with BF cause he just has zero life left in his current body, like, even if he wanted to he just can’t anymore. This almost “benevolent deity” kind-of being that Lord X is is exactly why he is by far my favourite of the .exe crew. This song feels like a proper send off for Lord X compared to Fate (still a good song though) even outright acknowledging and thanking BF for playing with him because he just had so much fun, even the parts that sound almost haunting like “I’ll always be a part of you” are said in such a genuine, almost wholesome way. It took me a bit to realize how confident Lord X really is in himself. Like, he knows his current vessel is slowly decaying like a corpse, and he has no way of beating BF in that state. There’s no way out for him, yet: that doesn’t really affect him at all. LX is infinitely powerful, and can just as easily find a new vessel to possess and continue his reign of terror. This entire song is essentially one long fuck you from LX and I honestly wouldn’t have a final song from him go any other way
And he knows even in the end, the barest piece of the experiences he gave everyone will ALWAYS leave their mark. Either as a mark of growth he can respect, or a scar to remind them he's still out there.

As a horror fan who has never found Sonic.exe to be scary, this is probably the creepiest version of Lord X ive seen. The way that he seems to be happy and resolute with his impending passing, whilst dancing seemingly with grace in a decaying body, is creepy and haunting. When you consider that all the torment he has caused was just his idea of fun, and how he’s promising to be with BF in an almost endearing manner like a loved one, gives this idea that BF will always be haunted by the essence of Lord X even after he has passed from Sonic.

This song proves why lord x remains my FAVORITE piece of anything sonic horror. Lord x has been shown as ruthless in the pc port. Yes, he is malicious, evil, and kills. But this killing, it's all his idea of fun. He finds collecting souls and tormenting innocents to be enjoyable. But the way he thanks boyfriend for his time near the end of the song is heartwarming. I know lord x is evil and all, but I've always seen him to be friendly at the same time. One moment, he can be brutally ripping apart someone, and than having a fun send off with someone else. This song is really good man, and your singing is beautiful.
10 months late I know. As much as Lord X is a powerful entity, he's just Sonic with a sadistic tendency, he may find torture and killing fun, but no matter what there will always be that small touch of Sonic. This song just shows that at the end of his life span in Sonic is over, and he now knows that he's just that, Sonic... After all, in the words of him "but I'm still here, and always will be part of you."
I hate but also love how this fan song alone does more of a marvelous job of expressing a character’s emotions before dying than so many other creations out there. A FNF mod of all things! To make it even better it’s with a character that everyone who knows of it is aware of how powerful and god like it is amongst the others, and seeing them die with a heart felt song and dance while accepting their fate is something that’s.. surprisingly sticking to me. I know the character isn’t *actually* dead since it’s a fan song but damn is it a marvelous way to put an end to such a character. You’ve got some serious talent to make a character as evil and cruel as this go out in such an elegant and beautiful way that’s enough to really tug on the heart strings!

This is beautiful. Not many songs make me tear up with their beauty, but this certainly did. Edit: Although it's great and all, after listening to this, I'm starting to see why Fate was scrapped. Lord X isn't some doom bringer, he's just someone that wanted to have some fun with what little time he had in his current vessel, even if the "fun" is people suffering for his enjoyment. Also I like the Aviators vibe the singing gives off.
A true marvel and unique take on the character, rather than being threatening or impotent to combat boyfried, this one is much rather, calm, somber even, his new voice, makes him sound alot happier, the vocals as well, detail a much more honest and even as such human identity of him, he acknowledges the time, the past, the moment, and the future that withholds of him, a pretty good sendoff for him that I do quite like since being down to earth with the blue haired bug is something I think is underappreciated in the current climate, thanks for the video Phantasma and Sturm!

It may be due to the fact that the song is Melaconhlic and sad for something like Lord X of all things, and yet it still scares us but not as much as us feeling sad over even though we know what he's capable of.

I honestly think LX is thanking boyfriend for the joy and actual happiness for letting LX have some remorse, it’s only just a matter of time before his beloved “vessel” rots into skeletons, bones. He knows he can’t defeat him, like xenophanes, he throws a tantrum and goes fucking PISSED supremacy, unlike lord X, he actually remains calm, this is literally why this is one of my favourite characters in sonic.EXE franchise.

His vocals are so beautifully chilling. It really does feel like this is the last of Lord X's energy, and that after this he wants nothing more than to decay so that he may be reborn stronger. You pulled it off PERFECTLY, and my hat goes off to you for the pure talent that you and this song exuberates.
This is a perfect “final” song for lord x. It’s comforting… but also ominous. You know it’s the end, but it’s still not really over. He even states that he’s still here. There’s a very disturbing energy hiding within this song and I’m really impressed with what you guys have pulled off, Really cool stuff!

I'm sad a lot of people are ignoring how the background is literally just a white void I like to think this song is actually a meta representation of the mods overall cancelation when X refers to other vessels, he's referring to other mods that will use his likeness imo the way they're just standing in a white void, a strip of green hill zone being the only splash of color to me is meant to represent that not only is Xs vessel "decaying" so is the world it once inhabited
i think not only the world and lord X are dying, but the WHOLE game is dying and decaying, since lord X took the chains of the whole game, if his vessel stopped gripping into, everything would break into such pieces, not even he would not be able to reconstruct, he just, accepted his fate and singed for a better vessel to come.
this song has been analyzed enough but I don’t think anyone has talked about the end of the song (around 3:16) The fade into white most likely represents that sonic (at least the vessel) has died. This is literally the best fnf song I have listened to. I thought FoF and Legacy was my favorite. Edit: So me and my friend Shark have a theory: This song has multiple hints that Lord X is Leaving/Disappearing/Dying, such as: he talks about his vessel and tearing off his own face and not wanting to look at it anymore, and something about his flesh decaying but his heart is still beating. We aren't 100% sure why he's yk dying/leaving but we kind of thought about how X canonically is obsessed with sonic. Maybe his body is decaying and hes regretting his past decisions. Knowing he'll never be as sonic, as sonic is. And this is his last sendoff before disappearing.
i think its a bit closer to say that lord x is like a virus of a sort, he saw a copy of sonice and said "ngl that hedgehog looks pretty cool" and stole him as his body in that world, sonic starts decaying as he is, well, a dead guy with a soul puppeteering the body and as such, a rotting corpse. when he notices this, he starts to create a new vessel to call his own, not stolen from another, but instead handcrafted with code from PC port so he cannot die or need to kill anyone for another vessel, likely the point of regretting his past actions is a bit true however. Even now with this song being 2 years old now I still feel like this is my favorite fnf song of all time. Super underrated too genuinely perfect lyrics and composition and I love the chromatics. And on top of all of that it brings me back to when fnf was new and the littlest mechanics were groundbreaking thank you for making peak over and over again Sturm.

Lord X: calm, almost gleeful at his vessel´s imminent passing knowing that he will always be there, and geniounely thanking bf for the fun they had.
Accurate but in Fakers case I’d believe it’s a growing fury rather than a simple tantrum. He only existed for a small while casted aside by his own creator (Lord X not Revie/Raven) and mortal hands are somehow ripping him to atoms. But eventually like X, Ironically enough, he finds a weird joy in being the lingering frustration of the masses before Passing on. Only for the devs (minus Revie) to be outed for their crimes and for his legacy and Him to be revived (through various means including Undying Phoenix/Nominal (he dosent own him but Faker is part of its lore) ) but still

Y'know a lot of people hate on the FNF+exe/horror overlap but then ya got people like Churgney putting out some of the most beautiful and emotional songs in a game where a short guy and a spooky hedgehog have a rap battle. Churgney is such a master at what he does and I'm glad he gets opportunities outside of the FNF niche (i.e interloper, my fav ARG I didn't even know he composed for)

This song is very strange, I have never experienced such emotions. After listening, I feel both calm and anxious, as if something is not right, even the thought “It shouldn’t have been like this” flashes through my head. I feel both happy and sad at the same time. I wanted to notice how the boyfriend at the beginning of the song repeats after the lord, and when he starts to make his speech, he only quietly sings along, allowing the lord to perfectly play his "solo".
you know, what I got from the lyrics, I doubt I'm right, but looking at it from a fourth wall break perspective. With the VS Sonic.exe mod being over officially, this feels like X being self aware its the end of the road for him. Like with the faded background and the lyrics of this being the end feels like this is basically a last goodbye, and he's okay with that. Lord X, as a character, wants to just have fun (despite his idea of fun being REALLY screwed up), and it feels like in the song he's thanking both BF and the player for being a worthy adversary and giving him a fun time, and knowing even though this is it, he'll always be part of the FNF community "I'll always be part of you". Idk that's what I got from this

As a horror fan who has never found Sonic.exe to be scary, this is probably the creepiest version of Lord X ive seen. The way that he seems to be happy and resolute with his impending passing, whilst dancing seemingly with grace in a decaying body, is creepy and haunting. When you consider that all the torment he has caused was just his idea of fun, and how he’s promising to be with BF in an almost endearing manner like a loved one, gives this idea that BF will always be haunted by the essence of Lord X even after he has passed from Sonic.

This song proves why lord x remains my FAVORITE piece of anything sonic horror.
Lord x has been shown as ruthless in the pc port. Yes, he is malicious, evil, and kills.
But this killing, it's all his idea of fun. He finds collecting souls and tormenting innocents to be enjoyable.
But the way he thanks boyfriend for his time near the end of the song is heartwarming.
I know lord x is evil and all, but I've always seen him to be friendly at the same time. One moment, he can be brutally ripping apart someone, and than having a fun send off with someone else.

As much as Lord X is a powerful entity, he's just Sonic with a sadistic tendency, he may find torture and killing fun, but no matter what there will always be that small touch of Sonic. I hate but also love how this fan song alone does more of a marvelous job of expressing a character’s emotions before dying than so many other creations out there. A FNF mod of all things! To make it even better it’s with a character that everyone who knows of it is aware of how powerful and god like it is amongst the others, and seeing them die with a heart felt song and dance while accepting their fate is something that’s.. surprisingly sticking to me. I know the character isn’t *actually* dead since it’s a fan song but damn is it a marvelous way to put an end to such a character. You’ve got some serious talent to make a character as evil and cruel as this go out in such an elegant and beautiful way that’s enough to really tug on the heart strings!

A true marvel and unique take on the character, rather than being threatening or impotent to combat boyfried, this one is much rather, calm, somber even, his new voice, makes him sound alot happier, the vocals as well, detail a much more honest and even as such human identity of him, he acknowledges the time, the past, the moment, and the future that withholds of him, a pretty good sendoff for him that I do quite like since being down to earth with the blue haired bug is something I think is underappreciated in the current climate, thanks for the video Phantasma and Sturm!

i think not only the world and lord X are dying, but the WHOLE game is dying and decaying, since lord X took the chains of the whole game, if his vessel stopped gripping into, everything would break into such pieces, not even he would not be able to reconstruct, he just, accepted his fate and singed for a better vessel to come.
this song has been analyzed enough but I don’t think anyone has talked about the end of the song (around 3:16) The fade into white most likely represents that sonic (at least the vessel) has died. The final lyric being sung by lord x not in the sonic vessel but in his true form (another plausible reason on why the screen turns white) finally the screen fades to black, as if lord x and his entire existence was never there

So me and my friend Shark have a theory:
This song has multiple hints that Lord X is Leaving/Disappearing/Dying, such as: he talks about his vessel and tearing off his own face and not wanting to look at it anymore, and something about his flesh decaying but his heart is still beating. We aren't 100% sure why he's yk dying/leaving but we kind of thought about how X canonically is obsessed with sonic. Maybe his body is decaying and hes regretting his past decisions. Knowing he'll never be as sonic, as sonic is. And this is his last sendoff before disappearing.

i think its a bit closer to say that lord x is like a virus of a sort, he saw a copy of sonice and said "ngl that hedgehog looks pretty cool" and stole him as his body in that world, sonic starts decaying as he is, well, a dead guy with a soul puppeteering the body and as such, a rotting corpse. when he notices this, he starts to create a new vessel to call his own, not stolen from another, but instead handcrafted with code from PC port so he cannot die or need to kill anyone for another vessel, likely the point of regretting his past actions is a bit true however. Even now with this song being 2 years old now I still feel like this is my favorite fnf song of all time. Super underrated too genuinely perfect lyrics and composition and I love the chromatics. This song is very strange, I have never experienced such emotions. After listening, I feel both calm and anxious, as if something is not right, even the thought “It shouldn’t have been like this” flashes through my head. I feel both happy and sad at the same time.
I wanted to notice how the boyfriend at the beginning of the song repeats after the lord, and when he starts to make his speech, he only quietly sings along, allowing the lord to perfectly play his "solo".

you know, what I got from the lyrics, I doubt I'm right, but looking at it from a fourth wall break perspective. With the VS Sonic.exe mod being over officially, this feels like X being self aware its the end of the road for him. Like with the faded background and the lyrics of this being the end feels like this is basically a last goodbye, and he's okay with that. Lord X, as a character, wants to just have fun (despite his idea of fun being REALLY screwed up), and it feels like in the song he's thanking both BF and the player for being a worthy adversary and giving him a fun time, and knowing even though this is it, he'll always be part of the FNF community "I'll always be part of you".
