I’ve ran closer to this style and I do think the deck is just better with Lucky Rou in it. I tend to try to build my decks for consistency which is why I stick with the searcher Uta and more Red Hair cards (Lucky Rou, Red Hair 2ks, etc). I don’t think the Marco is actually even needed. As long as you have the 4 ace. Then you’re able to get away from guard point etc and just run the red hawks and 2 0 cost. I will say the 10 Drop Ko shanks is nice 1 of tech that could be added in, possibly remove 1 0 cost or 1 Sanji. But this could mess with consistency.
@@AndrewBelmont- I tried him in it. The card itself is great but. 1. It’s a brick. 2. It’s not searchable I think these are the 2 biggest issues with it. The deck already has a lot of high end and is brick heavy. Adding another non searchable, high end brick is to much imo. I’d rather just stick with the 7 Ben’s that are 1k counters and searchable. I also don’t think you need it in any matchup. The best place for it is vs Blackbeard and even there it doesn’t feel needed.
@@RedHatPiratesTCG I only run 3 Rayleigh and 2 Dragons. I use more middle end aggressive cards to buy me time to get to the end game. The chances of me playing 4 of each are slim
@ not necessarily being about playing 4. More so being more likely to draw into them if you have 4 of each. Rayleigh you just always want to play if you can for the most part. If you had a way to search for Rayleigh/dragon etc I could see a case for playing less. Shanks defensive ability + lucky Rou and Silver blocker are pretty much always enough to get you to end game. I have seen some include rush Zoro tho which is interesting imo.
One is defensive ither is offensive. Play rayleigh if you have red hawk in your hand. Or if you need to remove the enemy board. Play dragon for pressure

How do you feel about the new 7c Whitebeard in this? Not sure why some lists either run him or dragon but not both together seemingly.

Which would you run first 8 cost Rayleigh or 8 cost Dragon
@@moregunzthanroses281 depends on the state of board. A majority of the time you’re going to be playing Rayleigh first tho.
