I'd image there is a way to measure this, perhaps average of the distance of ball impact location on the club face from the center using a robot swing. You should be able to say something like "SST Pure reduces the average distance from center from 10mm to 3mm" or something like that. You guys would be the best to quantify this type of question because you have the robots to do the testing with. Take two sets of the same club, pure one set and not the other, test them both and post the results. If pureing is worth doing there should be statistically significant differences between the two.
after SST Puring, is it likely that the shaft stickers will face different directions? also, if I get fitted in your shop in Tokyo, will my set be pured and built in Japan or in USA
If the shaft has the stickers installed after build you are able to have them installed on the underside of the shaft, however, if they are heat treated on or painted on during manufacturing then they can possibly be facing in different directions throughout the entire set. Regarding build that is an option you can discuss with your fitter in Tokyo they can accomodate your requests.
