It's wild how much you all got out of the tpt that is not fitted for you. Clearly the most potential with that shaft for all of you. That sums it up right there
I'm 64, play in South Florida, using the Paradym 9 degree driver set to +1. I'm a golf shaft addict. I have played the autoflex sf405 and liked the added distance. Only problem was as I got warmed up, it seemed to spray everywhere. Then I tried the vanquish 4 SR and liked how I got the control back, but it seemed to balloon on me often. Then I got the BGT brava R and liked the feel and dispersion. But then I saw the videos on the Accra 140 M0 and had to get one. Right now that's what is in the driver. But wait, today my friend let me test out the Special Joy Freeflex special 38. It reminded me of the autoflex, but without the loss of control. Hit some real long drives today. Think I will just continue with the Accra for now and wait and see what comes out driver wise in January.
Don't give me ideas! I'm 71 in so cal and am rapidly becoming a shaft junkie. Paradym TD 10.5. First up was cypher 50 over stock Tensei blue. Then autoflex (which was a disaster). Brava nrg 50g R is now in play a few weeks and very happy so far. Just received Vanquish 4r and will be in play next week to compare.
Really urge you guys to fix your audio settings - the mic is directional on playback and is really uncomfortable to listen to on my PC. On my phone it is fine, but on a nice headset it is very jarring. For instance the transition starting around 5:45 jumps from audio coming primarily in my right ear to my left ear of my headset. One my main channels to keep up with an iron fitting scheduled this winter, cheers!
Jack did better with the 4r (distance/speed/dispersion). I'm in the process of trying different light shafts. Driver: Paradym td 10.5, ss 90. The autoflex was a disaster, just short high balloons. The stock shaft is tensei blue. The Brava bgt NRG 50g has been in for a couple of weeks. Stunned by the increase in launch angle over Tensei (even after dropping loft setting 1 deg), + distance increases 10-15 yds. Just received a vanquish 4R and putting on grip/adapter so that will be up next. Also will pull out the launch monitor to see spin etc numbers. Can definitely see that the large differences in spin/launch need fine tuning multiple head settings. Boy this is fun! Does your launch monitor record where on the face impact was?
Hi Mrpriceisright - what are the results of the changes ? I am in the same process with ss around 95 mph. Autoflex was too much spin , Tensei Blue less spin but overall the same lenght as AF. Have changed for HZrDUS IM 10 green smoke. Nicer feeling comparable distance . Now I hesitate between Brava BGT or TPT Nitro . Any experience, recommendation? It’s a bit blind choice as I can’t try it here in Portugal .
@@m.m.-rw6cs I don't know about TPT but I think BGT will be higher launch/spin than you like. BGT performs very similar to Vanquish 4r for me (Mid H/H launch). I'm happy w the Vanquish and also riptide CB in the 5w, diamana red in the 5h. Better launch and good accuracy.
@@mrpriceisright Hi, very much appreciate your quick reply. Living now in Portugal I have no place to test shafts. Only recently I have discovered that AF , i was using for 2 years is spinning too much . Tensei Blue and Hzrdus smoke green IM 10 are better but not optimal. Getting older I am trying to squeeze what I can from driver. BGT according to own advertising should be better but it looks like TPT 18 Lo might be even better choice. I will look at Vanquish 4 r and if I get TPT I will let you know results. Have a good game !
Fascinating series. Very helpful. And Jack, just understand one thing. Mark was holding back so that he didn't embarrass you youngins'! If he REALLY wanted to, he would have unleashed all of his power and his clubhead speed would have gone through the roof! 🤣
Do shaft length next!
43” vs 44” vs 45” vs 46”
Can't wait for the AutoFlex, Accra, Special Joy comparo test.

Can’t wait for the free flex and Accra test

Would like a discussion of using the Accra, Autoflex, Special Joy off the deck with a 3 wood. If it is worth it or too much droop

Thanks for watching. Yes it does but we used TM4 rather than Quad or face marking spray so I wouldnt be comfortable using that data as an exact.

When are you going too test the Accra 140 MO?
Which driver models were these TPT 21??
Would have liked to know what the current shafts were.
Please see PART 1 for all of the previous shaft explanations.
iron shaft please.... same head speed, lighter v heavier shaft
Really all should change and optimize the head for spin, no brainer. tpt
What TPT model and flex Jack used?
We all hit the NITRO 21 Hi for the test.
Was this the Nitro TPT or Power range model?
This is the NITRO range
