This beautiful song started to be played on the radio at the end of 1988. I was 24 then, with my head full of dreams. The biggest one was to "sail away" to somewhere very far. That dream was soon to turn into reality. Few months later I was living the most exciting experience of my life. I was living in a different country, hundreds of hundreds miles away from home, a place where I had a new home, a new life, a place where I found love, and found myself. Thank you, Life.

This song reminds me of my youth when i joined shipping as a marine engineer and sailed on board foreign going vessels. Leaving the port to open sea and looking at shore behind, moving away slowly, on full away, gives this song the feelings at sea.
