My First Wingsuit BASE Jump

- I arrived in Brento with nothing but dreams of flight. I felt confident but wasn't so sure if that was a reality based confidence or false confidence. It was quite nerve wracking. I was visibly shaking. There some saving grace though, I had lots of tips, beta, and recommendations from friends through prior conversations. Also, Johnny Mac, a BASE instructor who helped teach me how to BASE jump years ago was at Brento jumping. He filmed my exit for learning purposes and provided a big confidence boost! It felt just like old times when I was shaking on the exit for my very first BASE jump! But the flight felt like nothing else I've experienced...
The whole crew of Brento locals, as well as the visitors are absolutely amazing people as well and I am incredibly grateful for their help.
It should also be noted that this exit might look smooth in this video, it wasn't so great. I definitely ended up too head low and in a 'scorpion' position. But since I could see that on video and got some additional tips, I cleaned things up and my exits have been pretty good ever since! That can be seen in the video below:

Okay, I had to subscribe. The intensity and adrenaline rush was off the charts. And an awesome extra touch was dropping a pin to your jump zone!!
Thanks! I hadn't felt that scared since my first ever BASE jump!

Just found your channel a few days ago and loving your flights man! Student skydiver here. May I ask where you learned to skydive and how many jumps you had before your first BASE? Keep posting man, we're all loving it.
Hey homie! I learned at Mile-Hi Skydiving in Denver and had 157 jumps before my FJC.
@@TrevorBock haha that's actually the same DZ where I'm currently working towards my A - license. Small world. Thanks for the reply dude!
@@rubmykoala7282 I might swing by there later this year! Enjoy the progression and best of luck with it! Blue skies!
wait what but dont you have earlier wingsuit jumps? or was this from a while ago
Yep! All the videos I've posted in the last few months have been a backlog of videos that I had some time to play with. I put dates at the bottom of each video.
@@TrevorBock oh my bad i didnt see that part
I dream of doing this one dzy😢❤
I love adrenaline
wingsuit base is so fucking scary :D
Fckin A!
Man I'm really interested in wingsuit jumps. Could you please tell what's your experience been prior to this? The amount of parachute jumps would be nice. Thanks.
When one is ready is very subjective to the person and the type of jumps/training done prior. But for me I had 257 base jumps, 392 skydives, including 250 wingsuit skydives (most of the other skydives were tracking jumps).
@@TrevorBock Thanks🙏
👍👍👍🚀✊
