Testing High End Rods [Yamaga Blanks, Ripple Fisher, MC Works & Zenaq]

- Finally I get to test some high end rods, in search for one to pair with my Daiwa Saltiga 2020 14000 XH.
Again, Gab has me test a some beautiful rods. Anuar and I get to feel, load test, and weigh each of the rods. This video will help those looking to purchase a Yamaga Blanks, Ripple Fisher, MC Works, or Zenaq rods.

i felt the Runner Exceed 103H and the Zenaq Muthos Accura 100HH, although the Runner Exceed wins in the weight but when i held the Muthos Accura 100HH it gives me the WOW factor. Maybe its the hexagon grip and the place the reel seat is placed. Really wonderful rod you bought!
The grip definitely helps, but also the balance of the rod.

Bro, I’ve watched this a couple of times. Great review. I’m going the MC with a saltiga. I also read some of the comments about why would you buy a expensive rod. I just finished a love hate (we’re I love hating it) relationship with my modified car. Give me high end fishing gear any day of the week. Enjoy bro. Love the content. Keep it coming.
The MC Works rods are great, and seem to have more grunt than the Zenaqs. I was still talking to Gab from ISO about the MC rod. High end fishing gear is a relatively cheap hobby compared to cars 👍🏽

That MC works was a really nice rod, I was really tempted.
Just give the shop a call, or just go to the store if you're in Sydney. They'll sort you out.

@@enterthedragon5979 I would recommend to continue on supporting your local tackle shops, they're the life-blood of recreational fishing. But for high end gear, go ISO and talk to them.

Hi, when I tested each rod, there was more flex on the Zenaqs. The Ripple Fisher Runner would be great for poppers, it has more backbone and a faster tapper.
I would recommend you go and try each rod. It depends on your preference.

Build your rod your self you can get good blanks and use Fuji guides I have built many
for using a accura 100hh, what could be maximum drag setting as LB on YOUR REEL ?
Not sure to be honest. I've set my drag to around 18kg drag when I hooked up to a 1m+ kingy, and it was fine.

I don't think so, Anuar feels like it does. Even if it did, I don't believe it's much of a difference.

Yup , the best for mid. game , but i paired it with stella 10000 pgc.
I bough my 100m Zenaq rod from Tomo's Tackle a year ago and it feels awesome, I don't regret it at all. If money wasn't a problem for me; my whole set up rods would be Zenaq only

It's a great rod, but I'm currently using the Ocean's Legacy Aggressor. But the Accura HH is perfect for 14k reels.

sorry man, this video is little old, but i want to know if 100hh is more rigid then 100h, or a little bit.
Yes, the HH is for pe6, so it has a faster taper (more rigid).

Accura 100hh is my rod with stella 10000 pgc/tp 10000pg , gts and tunas would have a tough times when hooked , it casts pretty far enough too. Man which bank u have stolen lately ! 😂

Drop it once and gone you can a good rod for 350 400 spend the money on good lures I have bin lures fishing for 40 years
never understood guys spending this amount of cash on a rod when cheaper rods do the exact same job....i think guys buy these rods to sy they own a ripple fisher or a zenaq ect
You might own one ripple fisher your whole life and go through 10 mid range rods in the same time frame. Zenaqs go through a 4 year testing process before the prototypes are even released to expos. Brooksy has a video on it. Marketing hype to some, financial investment for others. Depends how much fishing you do.
There 2 factors for me:
1. I'm a fishing enthusiast, so I love good reels & rods. Thank God I'm not a car, boat, or motorbike enthusiast, would a be much more expensive hobby.
2. It's what we call the 1 percenter in footy terms. Whether its Morningtide boys (ripple fisher or zenaqs) or Gido (jc customs) they want to make sure they have the best chance to land that fish.
But yeah, I do like the fact tha I own a Saltiga & a Zenaq 😁

Gido is the man. That guy is extreme. We're fortunate in NSW, heaps of the best ledges are accessible without requiring abseiling.
I was thinking for big tunas and amberjacks zenaq accura hh with saltiga 20000 h is it a good choice ? I want to work poppers and big pencils I have zenaq sonio rg I am so happy with that rod
For 20k size reel, that would be PE8 to PE10 line. You should consider Zenaq Accura HHH.
