TRIP REPORT | Aer Lingus A330-200 | Toronto to Dublin | ECONOMY CLASS | Full Flight!

- Trip Report of my Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200 Long-haul flight from Toronto Pearson Intl. Airport (YYZ) to Dublin Airport in Economy Class. Unlike on my outbound flight this time the Inflight Entertainment System (newer version) worked. The 6 hour long flight was very enjoyable and almost passed by too quickly. There was 1 free meal service, 1 snack and drink service plus a little breakfast muffin at 04:00 a.m. shortly before arrival in Dublin. My seat for the wing view was 27A over the wing of the Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

One thing I always notice with these types of vids is that fact that people wear flip flops. One should always wear hard soul shoes in case of an emergency to protect your feet if there is fire or shards of metal to deal with. Just an observation. Other than that great vid.

Great report! Aer Lingus will be introducing a complimentary alcoholic beverage with the meal service in economy next year along with a free wifi package and mood lighting is also being rolled out across the fleet.

We flew from Dublin to Washington DC by Aer Lingus last March 2018. Then got an American airline down to San Antonio, Tx. I wish I got more video footage of our trip, but your video reminded me of our day there so much. The engines revving to go!!! Wonderful all the way. Thanks again.

Just flew home from Ireland. I flew from Shannon Ireland to Boston Logan international airport, Boston Massachusetts. Good flight. Really good service.

dude i watched video when u posted it and i had the same flight in march that year and had the meal and those pretzels were the best ive ever tasted lmao
I'm going to be travelling to Shannon, Ireland from the U.S. next year via Aer Lingus and I've never been on a plane before in my life. I also have terrible anxiety, so I'm not even sure I could make it through the airports by myself with all the signs, lights, and people.

Yes I saw that as well. But you don't get the same service when flying within Europe. And since I fly a lot between Europe and Toronto to visit Family anyways I can try out the "real" service and different airlines :D

Aer Lingus is good. From New York 5 years ago only orange juice for breakfast. And you can buy a luxury meal for 20 Euros.
Aer lingus are my favorite airline.

My boyfriend flies Boston to Manchester with aer lingus and every time he’s never had an issue and it’s been a great flight. Unlike BA where we’ve had several cancelled flights or late flights causing missed connections

I have flown with them twice they’re a bit old fashioned with a manual safety demo even for transatlantic but will fly with them again

Der Muffin war ausreichend, wenn man bedenkt, dass man erst vor weniger als 5h das Dinner hatte. Und dann um 24 Uhr Toronto Zeit noch einen Muffin ist ok.

it’s a shame they backed out of the a350 deal, hopefully they order some more a350s, maybe some a330 neos.
I will be flying from Boston to Dublin 2020 hoping they will have a premium economy by then with there Neo plane? I have had the best times with Aer Lingus and BA from Boston to Great Britain

Nein. Eigentlich sind die dabei, es sei denn sie haben etwas geändert. Trotzdem würde ich eigene mitnehmen, weil die Qualität immer das billigste vom billigsten ist bei den Teilen...

looking to fly aer lingus toronto to frankfurt via dublin. it is only 1 hour 30 minute stopover. in your opinion is this enough time?
yes!1h30mins is enough time in Dublin (of course if there are no delays). But even then Air Lingus would just have to book you on the next flight for free ;)
thank you. one other question do you have to pick up your luggage in dublin or is it automatically forwarded to your connecting flight. i have never flown with stop overs. i usually use condor@@PlaneSpottingBerlin
How big is the airport of Dublin
Because I have a transit there for 1hour
International transfer? If it only 1h0mins it is tight but possible. And if you end up missing it the airline has to rebook you (if it is tje same ticket for both flights)

Yes I have Family over in Canada - thats why I visit once every year (2017 was the only year I went twice (Lufthansa/Air Canada and KLM).

Was an assumption because you talk about the flight not being full and show an almost empty row after takeoff and how you should be able to get some sleep. I made 5 from your 2 + 2. Anyways, nice video on this short hop. Better than their days of the 757 on this route.

Maybe I should wait and try other airlines first. There are plenty of airlines flying the route I need (from somewhere in Europe to Toronto).

Jet is good, however they are going through financial trouble, which probably affect their service, i would say wait until they sort it out.
jet airways is worst private airlines in india, IMO. Maybe their international flights are better...do not know.

Yea, PSBerlin, do some homework on them before you book anything. Ive not heard many good reasons to fly them. Having said that, some aviation vlogers go over the top in their reviews. Maybe just go and form your own opinion.

Rian Young - get over it. Names change and it was colonized anyway, hardly unique. I bet you spell Dublin the Anglo way too. As for Aer Lingus they are the worst long haul airline I’ve ever flown. They are mostly rude and very average with general customer service especially onboard. They are just a long haul Ryanair.

Well your comments about Ireland would lead me to believe that your opinion on Aer Lingus is quite biased.
They’re by far the friendliest and easiest to deal with airline I’ve ever flown. I’ve never had any problems whatsoever and the crew always go out of their way to help you.
Ryanair have pretty good cabin crew as well for the price you pay. For a €5-20 flight, I think they provide pretty good service.
