If it's not German they will always underrated it smh. Or say the styling and performance is to much or not enough but won't find anything wrong with the weird bug shape of a Porsche Panamera lol. Ii love this car myself

Nice review as usual Steve. Infiniti's M series proves just how badge biased customers can be. For years people were giving the Infinti flak for being too soft and putting performance on the back burner, while praising just how sharp the 5 series was, and that nothing handles like a BMW. Now that this generation's Infiniti M, arguably handles better than the now softer 5 series, badge snobs are going "umm....the ride is more comfortable, it's not supposed to be a sports car anyway." Oh well :P

Nissan has always had more performance 😂. And they last years with virtually no maintenance. I still do almost nothing after 18 yrs. Every bmw goes to the junkyard.

I absouletly love this car....not because i used to work and sell Infifniti products, but because iam a hard core driver and take driving with a priveledge seriously and with authority.... and truly the G and the M edition especially the M56 gives me exactly what i want... the lil nibbles i can manage to get around, but the bottom line is Sport, sport, sport and more rough sport.... Great job infiniti for not suga coating the brand and its products....

Fuel pump tapit (bucket) should inspect every 30,000 catalytic converters crap after 100,000 and it has a (life time transmission fluid) you should change it every time you look at the fuel pump besides that solid car 136,000

Funny you'd say that because while I do a lot of shooting in that area during the summer, I didn't go near there with the M56.

  • @stevehammes

It had something like 8,000 miles on it which is on the high side for press cars and it looked a little worn.

Yes, there is as well as a M56. X equals AWD, if no X then it's RWD.

I don't think this thing has aged well looks-wise. It's in need of a refresh, but I think one is on the way. I really like the new Q50 though, so that's promising for the future of this car.
