How about show someone using the speedy-lift but no XL-board. The Mazda5 seat height makes for a very manageble transfer as-is and most people don't need the added expense and complexity of the XL-board.

I've got a new speedy lift I am using for the first time, and when It goes up and down the track it makes a "chunk chunk chunk" noise and motion, and I wonder if that is normal?

I really like that car. I'm looking for a spacious back area but no quite a van if you know what I mean. This might be something I'm interested in. As for the mechanical lift, I'll be honest, it's not my cup of tea. It's too slow for me. I can take apart my chair, throw it in the back and be ready to drive in about 2 mins. I don't want any method that takes longer than that. Any chance that back area can be converted into a lounge area with a ramp that folds out??

Thanks for the video. I looked at these several years ago. Thought there may be a way to make it accessible for my wife to drive. BTW, what approx. cost on the lift?
