Ok…I had my MPC Key going on 2 yrs & only use what came with the board.
I never knew how to do the codes for each of the sounds, I just been sampling straight-up & chopping & banging-out best just that way, but I really want my sounds…my keyboard keeps reminding me(You Got Sounds) every time I turn it on, & I realize that I’m gonna have a 1 on 1 video chat with someone showing me exactly what to do…so my whole production game is really stagnated to say the least, & OMG I need the Stems, but 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️I ain’t even got the regular, or all the sounds that comes with the activation of codes….(those) & just been composing music with just the internal sounds of the MPC Key 61 🙁☹️😣…. Can you help me Brother Bolo.

I think is what akai means when they say “avaiable for mpc stand alone”. There will not be an actual plug in like there is with fabric install extract etc
All stem stuff currently works on windows and Mac OS
With the exception of some phone apps
If this comes to stand alone it’ll take awhile to process not unlike certain studio string patches say

The key thing about this video is showing that it can be saved to the SSD. In the company's video they show it being saved to an sd card. But I was hoping I didn't have to do that. Your video was a lot more straight forward 🙏🏾

Yea, but they said they were delaying it so they could release both versions at the same time, they delayed and still only released software version, it doesn't bother me personally but I can understand why people might not be too happy.

@@BigHomieFilms Well whether it was official or not doesn't bother me, standalone version will come out when it's available, I have no problem waiting. I think it was Ave Mcree who mentioned Akai delaying and releasing both versions together, not the first time he's been wrong.

I literally just did this but didn’t have to do Save As. Just just pressed Shift+Browse(mpc one) and when I went back to standalone mode and everything was there on the original file location(sd card). Hope they get standalone working soon since the software is a little unstable in controller mode.
Amazing video as usual. I can't seem to sample in controller mode because my audio is ridiculously distorted. Do you know how to fix it? Sampler works perfect in standlone but controller mode it seems to be turned up too much.

How do I record from my phone to the software
Only reason I use my mpc in standalone is because of the outbound gear I have going from the outs. Being able to utilize the ins and outs are great

I got an issue when I record the sample then chop it, it will triggers two pads, and sometimes when I hit record or play it triggers a pad. Know anything about this ?
Hey, is there a way or a video explaining how to import stems from another DAW, like Reasonstudio, which I use? I'd like to track my stems into the rest of my beat in the MPC or import older beats into the MPC for mixing. Is this possible?

no way my mpc One+(1.8GHz quad-core) is anywhere near the speed of having it happen on my computer( 4.5Ghz, 8 core 16 thread). I opened a 5 1/2 minute song and it broke it down into stems in 20 seconds. Doing short clips was instantaneous. It's going to be slower in standalone unless your PC is weaker than an MPC somehow.
The Stems function itself is pretty good too, I ran some stuff through it that should be hard to separate out and it did a really dang good job. It's impressive.
I did it last night. But my ssd didn't show up so I saved it in my sd card. It worked perfectly in standalone.

It won’t save all the stems to one pad, it would create them independently

I'm new to the MPC world and have MPC 2 and I'm controlling it with the MPC Studio. I have the Stem Seperation in my account but for the life of me can't figure out how run it on the computer. Once again, I'm new to MPC (literally days). Is the software considered standalone mode?

How? I can’t do it either, can’t record on my phone or the turntable in controller mode . Spent hours and hours trying to figure it out. Ended up using audacity but I’d rather do it straight into the machine. I thought I might need to use line 1/2 on my audio interface or something but I don’t even know what cable that uses I’m new to a lot of this and not found any good information on it.

OK brother I’m gonna ask you a question instead of you buying a bunch of keyboards why not buy the modules like the Roland Fantom is in a module I believe the Kong Tritons in a module and some of the Yamaha keyboards or modules. Also, can you incorporate that and hook that up to your MPC 37 save more space
I still have some of my modules like my motif es rack, Fantom, turbo phat, mo phat and a few others. But I like to switch up from time to time
I really wanna see how they gonna pull the stems on standalone maybe use an internet connection let’s see I’m ready and pumped cuz I’m not spending 199 on the mpc beats 2 just to use this

The computer does the processing but after you save the stems project you can then unplug the usb and play stand alone! 💪🏽😁👍🏽

what i do is if while making a beat i want a sample stemmed, then i just simply bring the project on a usb stick in my computer, stem the sample, and open the project back on standalone. i am not connecting the computer to mpc at any point.
How do you sample songs on mpc stems if you don’t have splice
Just import the some to a pad either by downloading song to your computer or recording it in directly

I'm sure it's going to take way longer to extract in Standalone when it's released (Something else for Ungrateful MF's to complain about) LOL. If Stems does come to standalone all good. They said it was coming after. But they dont mention standalone anywhere officially anymore. I think thts the rumbling.

To me fl studio does this better. It is also super fast to just export the stems from fl to my SD card. It's cool they added it. If you have no other choice. They just are a little behind everyone else on this one.
Imo the mpc stems are a little cleaner
@CuzzoTheGreat mpc stems sounds like it cuts some of the highs to get rid of some of the artifacts to make it sound a little cleaner. I prefer to make those adjustments myself. If mpc stems ever becomes available to use in standalone, then it will be my goto for sure.
Akai literally said standalone would be after software. People need to chill. Then they will complain that it isnt working right acter they want it rushed out.

It was already stated beforehand that standalone would be released after the Daw version and yet they still cry... some people just need to complain about something
