- what's going on yall!! it's ya boy Mike here to wish you all a happy new year!! the holiday season was eventful, and now that it's over, we're excited to be back. This episode was nuts, Prince Oberyn really laid it all on the line. wish he'd just stabbed the mountain in the face when he had the opportunity .. but it was still dope none the less. Also I guess Baelish was wrong about Sansa not being able to lie, huh? homegirl saved Baelish and saved herself from sexual assault all in one swoop. Khaleesi told Jorah to gtfoh with all the spying ish, so it'll be fun to see where he decided to go. Ramsey is a bolton and Reek is still a reek. Anyways yall I'm gonna go take a nap. Love all yall see ya on the next one. pce :)
be sure to follow us on patreon for the full length reactions + more!!

Guys, the reason Oberyn was so eager to get the Mountain to confess is because the ruling prince of Dorne (Obreryn's older brother) said that the Dornish people would start a war against the Lannisters but only if there was a first hand confession about Tywin being the one who gave the Mountain the order to kill Elia Martell and her children. Also, Oberyn is known for impregnating his weapons with slow poison. He got so confident towards the end of the combat because the moment he cut the Mountain's leg with the spear he knew that he was already dead and that he already had his desired revenge.
Prince Oberyn was one of the most amazing characters. His speech when he said to Tyrion “I will be your champion” and the fight he had with the mountain was absolutely INCREDIBLE
I enjoy the hell out of you reactions. You guys are surely invested in the show. Prince Oberyn was one of the best characters ever.
Now you know why Mandalorian doesn't take his helmet off. He learned from this one
The actor who plays Theon aka Reek is soooo goood...his lil' twitches get me every time!😳
Oberyn needed confession from Mountain(that Tywin ordered to kill Elia and her children) so he was justified to raise Dornish army and go to a war against Lannisters... Otherwise his brother(lord of Dorn) wouldn't let the war happen...
by the gladiator rules Oberyn lost even earler when he lost his spear noone will alowy you to buy anotehr one in the middle of battle
@@nicolbolas8758 wht have you been smoking bro you have commented same thing everywher. This isnt gladiator shit. This is GOT, the weapons are kept there for a reason.
This is a work of fiction. Why dont you ask about fire breathing dragons.or trial by combat in itself why would someone else should fight to prove whether you're guilty or not. 🙃
I've said this before on other channels, Oberyn had the Mountain dead!! But he got to complacent at the end and instead of finishing him off he just had to get the confession of who ordered him to kill his sister and her children!!
Jesus Christ i was absolutely gutted when the Mountain killed him Oberyn was one of my favourites and Pedro Pascal portrayed him to perfection!!
Killing him was accomplished when he cut him.he moved on to getting tywin.he wasnt there for tyrion.he didnt care.
he didn't care about him he wanted tywin dead and for that he needed his confession
No, but he could have sliced the bastard's hands off before interrogating him.
NOP Oberyn Lost clearly to Mauntain, NOONE will allow to Hoplomacus take another spear in the gladiator arena if he lost his he pretty much focked
whatt no way yall are starting to hate on Theon. In my opinion, he has gone through so much torture physically and mentally and him acting the way he is, it's because of that. It is not Stockholm i don't think. He acts like that because hes terrified of what Ramsey is capable of. Remember he was physically tortured for months and well that much pain physically and mentally caused him to go a little insane and it messed him up really bad. (btw i love you guys, one of my fav reactors frl)
That's so petty of Tywin to call it a loss, if anything it was a draw😂😂😂😂😂😂 he just wanted to be rid of Tyrion
Yall are truly children of the winter now. When Oberyn screamed it was in my head for days. Yall took it pretty well lol.
RIP Oberyn 😭 you made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us….aroused? 🤔 yeah, can’t deny it lol
every now and then, game of thrones has to sit up straight and remind you exactly what show you’re watching. ned’s death, the red wedding, this, and more…
word to the wise: if something happens in this show that makes you happy, be scared.
I’m impressed with how cool Aaron was with this one, getting somewhat desensitized huh?.. 😂 but still… don’t let that guard down! Nothing is gonna be boring from here on, the spiral is all in motion… 🎉
Except for the entirety of season 5 minus the second half of hardhome
Greyworm makes me swoon with his words. Maybe he was a poet in another life.
Sansa is truly learning how to lie, now. Best way to lie is to cover it with truths. Also, Sophie Turner (and Sansa’s) acting is so good in that scene.
Speaking of acting, Emilia Clarke’s acting in her scene is absolutely god tier. This might be my favorite Daenerys scene. The way she can’t even look him in the eye is heartbreaking, but understandable.
“You are Ramsay Bolton.” This should be illegal.
Sansa actually did want to be Queen and live in King’s Landing, but the minute her father’s life came into question, that dream changed and then crumbled when Ned died.
Arya’s laughing always makes me laugh too. It’s so morbid.
Oberyn’s head got smashed in like one of the characters from Until Dawn. Very gross.
I love the pan down to Tyrion’s face at the very end, to show how he just gave up.
What a way to end an episode!
Happy New Years guys!
Not to be off topic but have you seen Jacob Anderson (Greyworm) in the TV series Interview with the Vampire? Talk about swoon!
@@brandismith2968 I know he’s in that show, but I haven’t seen it. I may just have to check it out for more swooning.
I just binged all of your reactions. You guys are good 👍🏻
Welcome aboard!
Alright boys I've been waiting for this, fixing some food right now and watching this as I eat, HYPE.
Me too! 😂
Been waiting for this one! You guys are one of my favorite reactors of G.O.T.😊💚
Rule 1: When fighting someone to the death in hand-to-hand combat, don't drink - Rule 2: If you get the upper hand, kill your opponent immediately, it's a fight to the death, not an inquisition. There are plenty of gruesome deaths in this show but that one hit me the hardest, loved Oberyn and truly thought he would win (and should have) and that death was uber-gruesome
We all felt the same way about Ramsey and Theon. It's tough man. Theon has paid for his treachery - would have been kinder to kill him. Ramsey is on another level. We thought Joffrey was bad lol.
RIP Prince Oberyn - his revenge in the end caused his own death - disaster. I swear you could hear people scream NOOOO all over the world.
22:45 Congrats, Sandor, it’s a girl! You’re a father now. There’s no getting rid of her.
Obreryn watched the Princess Bride one too many times and didn't know when fighting to shut the fuck up about avenging your loved ones and kill your opponent when you have the chance.
This is peak thrones
Actually guys...no. Sansa never wanted to leave king's landing. She was always too wrapped up into Joffrey. Remember she got mad at Ned when he wanted to leave? She was in love with the idea of being a princess/queen to Joffrey...until she saw how evil he was.
Very true. The death of her father changed everything. She left all talk of being a princess behind and has been learning to play the game since...as we see in this episode.
Happy New Year Boyz!!
I was worried there, that Aaron jumped ahead & watched this episode already. Because he said, "Maybe they'll kill each other at the same time." I've not seen another reactor voice his prediction correctly before about the duel, before the episode aired. But upon watching both your reactions, they were genuine, no shenanigans was done. I'll chalk it up, as a wise prediction, as Aaron nailed it. He made enough wrong predictions before,, he was bound to nail one. HEHE!
He hadda get one eventually!! Lol
Great t-shirt! RIP JDF.
Sorry, have we given Aaron credit for good he has consistently been with names....? My mans is so quick with names any time there's a question about it. I noticed that like seasons ago but I don't think I ever actually mentioned it, he is consistently quick af to pull the name out whenever they're talking. This dude off-tops side character names that took me like two and a half watch-throughs to even peripherally remember. Really good with names, that cat. Dunno if he just made that his goal in this show to spite people who told him to take notes or if that's like a thing in his real life he just never forgets names, but dang. Flowers for my mans over there
It's all the KotR side quests paying off
In the book the mountain viper fight was even more brutal. Some bystanders were also killed.
your reactions keep intensifying along with the story which makes lying-in-wait for what's coming even better
Also had no idea what Baelish's sigil was until the show was over mostly bc I just did not care so plz ignore the self-righteous members of the fandom
This episode almost made me rage quit the show. I forgot to not get invested in any character or outcome lol.
I have seen alot of reactors full with rage due to this episode
Annnnd we’re back… I’ll see y’all next week 🫡
episodes 8/9/10 of season 4 could be the best 3 episode stretch of the entire show
Wait ya'll were seething at that "heartwarming" moment of Ramsay's legitimization? You want him to die? 😫😭. But we're just getting started with the Bolton North baby 😫. That parting shot of the long procession of the triumphant Bolton army, with Winterfell looming in the distance already looking so dreary and lifeless, ready to welcome its new masters. A new dark chapter begins in the North. Speaking of the North, how good was the interrogation scene in the Vale? All the Sansa-LF scenes are as excellent as they're creepy. Just watch LF's face when he says "you think you know me". Aidan Gillen plays the most convincing predator lol.
BUST MODS Are watching ... Remember 1. No Spoilers if it hasn't happened in the current episode, Don't comment on it, if unsure don't comment just in case 2. No one is safe. Ever.
Notification squad! So excited to watch this reaction. I remember when I watched it for the first time I watched it all alone 😫😫
Congratulations 🎊
On the 4K Subscriptions Busters!
Well deserved. I knew you would make it to 4K before the end of Season 4.
Awesome🥳🥳
28:27 everyone was like... stop oberyn, just win and talk shit later
I think it was S1E4 when we found out that little finger chose the mocking Bird as his house sigil. It was the episode where Cersei tells him "Power is Power"
Yep. Robyn is probably Baelish's actual son, in fact. That's one of my theories, anyway.
Sansa is playing the game of thrones now, she has had excellent teachers.
I think the story about the beetles is a metaphor for how the Gods treat people in GOT. People die all the time, both good and bad, those that deserve it and those who don't. People die without reuniting with their families, without getting justice, etc. I think this is a common concept in the show. Death in this show is not fair or right, it just happens. There are exceptions, but still. Valar Morghulis - All me must die.
Can’t believe he no sold the McDonald’s joke
Oh man I waited so long so see you guys reacting to Oberyns death. The best scene in this show for me and the best character ❤
I think I screamed louder than Elaria when oberyn was killed. Lmbo I still can’t watch that.
I watched The Purple Wedding & this episode with a room full of friends at their apartment back when season 4 was airing! We HOWLED. Two of the most insane & viscerally exciting & upsetting moments in the show.
Sansa never want to leave kings landing, she always want to be the queen. You should rewatch season 1, cuz Sansa bragging about not wanting to leave joffrey and she wanted to bear joffrey's golden children, that's how Ned Stark unlocking the mystery of joffrey's bastardy status.
30:10 He just f@ck!ng Omni-Manned him 🤣😂🤣
These reactions videos are the best!
Happy New Year Busters 🎉🎉
Great reaction and analysis.
So yeah you all are in the home stretch Episodes 9 & 10...get ready for the ride.
Just a suggestion and this is in no way a spoiler you might want to think about doing Ep.10 in 2 Parts.....
Sansa new persona always gave me a Black Bird look right down to her dying her hair black and the feathers on her dress.
I never could fiqure out if the guards at The Bloody Gate knew Sansa was Sansa since she was pretending to be Littlefinger 's niece.. what do you think? 🤔
Congrats to Mike for totally coming to the conclusion Tywin sent that pardon to Daenerys. And to Aaron for picking up the vive between GrayWorm and Missandei from "jump"...
Awesome job Busters! Be safe.😎👍
Bruh I literally hate the end of this episode, gets me going everytime I wish Oberyn just finished him instead of prancing about like a pony🤣
It doesn’t matter if the Mountain is dead, Oberyn died seconds earlier when his head got smashed to pieces. If Oberyn died first, he loses the trial plain and simple.
"This is not the day that I die", oh boy, this is why he keeps the helmet in The Mandalorian. 😅
"It's what they do at McDonalds" umm what?
Famous last words!!! Lol Best reactors!
Oberyn: Today is not the day I die
Future Trunks: This is where Prince Oberyn dies.
Sansa didn’t wanna to leave kings landing in the beginning. She was whining and crying like a brat as soon as Ned even mentioned them leaving and going home. She was going to “marry Joffrey and have his babies and they’ll be golden headed lions” that’s when Arya said “🙄 seven hells” lol
Well yeah. That's how girls were brought up back then. Marry & make babies.
@@d3l3tes00n remember even when Ned was arrested she still didn’t want to go. She originally wanted Rob to stop from marching while her dad was in the dungeon.
@@macmel2160 Of course
she was a child and envisioned a life like a Disney princess...unfortunately she found out that reality tells a different story than the ones laid out by Walt Disney. This realisation is the basis of her character arc throughout the show
Yeah I’m not disputing any of that. I’m just politely correcting things they forget or get wrong. They said in this reaction that Sansa wanted to go home from the beginning. It’s all love here! I really like their reactions, they’re some of the best on YT IMO.
Brooklyn!!! Happy New Years 🍻
WOAH WOAH WOAH, Arya and ned wanted to leave kings landing, Sansa was the one who begged them to stay so she could marry Joffery. That has to be corrected lol. Arya and Ned very much hated kings landing
Arya wanted to stay too because of her fighting lessons, but she didn’t care too much.
You guys are so funny. I don’t read all of your comments. Do people really rag on you and stay stuff like “if you we’re paying attention?” Not cool. It’s hard to keep track of every little detail in the show so I don’t blame you for missing small stuff.
Oh dude every video
It literally took me like my second watch through to get the many character plot lines and notice where things happened or when things took place. These guys have done so much better than I did.
I think those people tend to forget that you can’t possibly remember everything your first watch through.
Love the reaction, can't wait for you guys to get to the real shit of this show.
I’ve been waiting for this one!
First King Robert, then Prince Oberyn... my 2 favorite characters came and went in less than a season! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Gotta love the Orson Scott Card shade in this episode.
Might wanna blur the nude scene at the river. I don’t quite know the rules, but this is the first I’ve seen it in a reaction. Keep doing what you’re doing though - love the reactions.
Remember how Sansa started off back in season one? Maybe Littlefinger is just the influence and role model she needs to start actually playing "The Game".
I remember the first time watching Oberyn die my stomach started to turn the second I heard his teeth clacking on the ground like skittles.
Yikes
I must have missed an episode or a scene, because I only remember Sansa pleading her father to allow her to marry Joffrey so she could be a Princess/Queen until Ned was imprisoned and executed. After that, she realized she was wrong.
Iv seen this fight at least 10 times and it gets me every time.
In the book instead of smashing his face and skull Ser Gregor punched Oberyn's face in.
Oberyn one of my favourite characters
17:22 Emilia Clarke has the BEST facial expressions. She legit was gonna spit fire on Jorah. But. Let him go.
the thing with sansa is she knows baelish sees her as a catelyn replacement, so she knows he won’t send her die
Sansa is dressed like a sexy Mockingbird! Don’t forget the advice Cersei gave her during the Battle of Blackwater Bay: “Tears aren’t a woman’s only weapon…” She wants to manipulate Baelish.
The Mountain died, too.
Yay! I'm here semi on time lol
No, man. She wanted to stay in KL. She actually went to Cersei to beg her to beg Ned to let her stay. She didn't really understand what she was doing, but it was still a betrayal.
Aaron really did change😂
Sansa’s story arc is one my favorites! love watching her growth after all she is going to have to endure and it’s so much shit ugh
Oberyn got caught monologuing.
Season 5 guys, c'mon, I'm busting.
History and Lore on the way!!!
Have you noticed the resemblance of Robin to Baelish yet?
Guys, I recommend watching deleted scene "dialogue between Pycelle and Tywin"...
That may contain spoilers for them if they do
@@joshuasutton355 lol no) what spoilers? That Pycelle pretending to be an old guy? They have already shown that he walks like that when he is outside of his room...
@@noone6896 Think about it where are they to watch this scene? UA-cam ? Do you know how youtube works if you search on a subject it will list other video's for you to watch and Bingo Spoiler's
@@joshuasutton355 omg u cant search exact name and click without looking to others?) Or simply ask someone to put a link to directly jump to the video?)
@@joshuasutton355 They at least watch history and lore where they more likely can come across to spoilers videos
Sansa threw a fit in season 1 about Ned wanting the girls to go home to winterfell, ariyah was fine going home till she got syrio as her dancing instructor then she wanted to stay or bring syrio with her home. Sansa didn't wanna leave kings landing till shit got bad and she got married to tyrion
Baelish had already married Lysa. She insisted and then on the wedding night she was screaming so loudly during sex that it echoed through the entire structure
Ok low key Mike has a great voice…
Fantastic
I can't wait for you to watch the infamous episode 9!
Next ep is Big. hurry with the next uppload plz
targarayen dynasty didn't end because of jamie but robert, ned and jon arryn. if they hadn't started the rebellion, won wars, and killed rhaegar, jamie wouldn't have killed the mad king. jamie only killed the king after he ordered him to kill his own father. tywin wouldn't even have sacked the city if not for robert already being on the winning side. remember tywin waited until the last moment to pick the winning side in the war. Even if jamie had killed the mad king without robert's rebellion, he would have been executed the next second and rhaegar would have been the king.
main war was won by robert not jamie.
Reminder: Sansa fought to STAY in Kings Landing. She told Cersei about her father’s plans to leave.
that was before she realized how truly evil joffrey was. she was a naive child who dreamed of a disney princess ending.
If you break a rule i WILL REMOVE YOUR COMMENT and I will take note of your name and I will watch you closer in future
WHO GAVE YOU DEE ORDA?!!!
She's becoming a bad ass.
HEH
You seem to be missremembering. Sansa wanted to stay in Kinga Landing, when Ned told her they are leaving she was totally against it. Like from the VERY start she wanted to go to kings landing, she only started to dislike being there after Ned was imprisoned and then killed.
You misinterpreted the Sansa scene. It wasn't her asserting her independence. It was quite the opposite. The scene showed just how much control Baelish has over Sansa. In her mind she's been more dependent on Baelish now than ever before. It was the culmination of years of Baelish isolating and grooming her. She did not set herself up to not be touched. That's just desperate optimism on your part. When tf has anyone stopped Baelish from getting whatever he wants. You think Lord Royce will be able to do anything to stop Baelish? Lol. The new Lord of the Vale is Robin Arryn. Now that his mother's gone, the boy is loyal to Baelish and Baelish alone. Which means Baelish now controls the Vale and can have whoever he wants executed. Now with the "Key to Winterfell" Sansa in his grasp, he's gonna turn his eye towards the next kingdom...The North.
Ofc the scene also showed just how much Sansa has soaked up from Baelish, Cersei, Tyrion and all the plots and intrigue in the capital. The scene is so brilliant because people expect her to lie, but no on expects her to put on a oscar worthy performance of deception. In a way it is a turning point for thr character. We have two back to back emotionally charged scenes in Sansa and Dany. And Sophie's acting blows the lid out of the Emilia trying hard to be severe and stern. Sorry I can't take angry Dany seriously. Just doesn't cut it for me.
What should really concern you is that this was episode eight.
Best part about 17:12 is since we get into Danys head in the books, she doesn't look at jorah because she fears she might forgive him
oberyn had the fucking kill man but he had to show off
He wasnt showing off he was there for answers.
sup peeps
