Construction time-lapses with closeups (compilation): Weeks 73+74 of the Ⓢ-series: The fin!

- Weeks 73 and 74 in the ongoing Ⓢ series, which follows the construction of a new 13-story senior living building in San Francisco. This is a #construction #timelapse compilation with time lapses and various closeups at various speeds, from the two-week period of June 21 - July 3, 2021, condensing the two week's activities into about 52 minutes.
The fin! The fin! [Imagine the character "Tattoo" from you-know-what TV series yelling it.] That's the big thing in this episode - we finally get to see some of the "fin" being assembled, something we've been waiting on for a long time. But of course there's other stuff, too. Hope you enjoy the episode!
Important scheduling note that won't matter to those watching this years from now, but for those watching this series as it unfolds:
There will be a delay before the next episode.
For only the second time since the pandemic started, I am taking a trip out of town (for about a week). Then, the following week I have jury duty (I guess the courts must be getting active again, too). Unfortunately this means that the next episode will be delayed, probably for at least two weeks, possibly longer depending upon what happens with jury duty. I will keep you informed through the "Community Tab".
The series is far from over, so I hope you'll join me when it resumes!

The music when the fin enters the screen: brilliant!👏🏻🤓
Enjoy your week away, hope the jury service goes well. Thank you for the 2 weeks in 1 updates for the last couple of weeks taking onboard my feedback / suggestion
Hello channel friends. Here is Bernd from Germany again. Have fun with the latest episode and everyone stays healthy. Special regards to Hospital Construction. I like your new format very much. 001
Good morning!
Thanks for another great episode. I like this format. The "Inter-Chapter Interludes" are great. Enjoy your trip.
Well done.
Are we “fin-ished” yet?
I'm just here for the fish, er ah... fins.
The "fin" probably added $100k+ to the build... I really never understood why it was needed in the first place!
Enjoy your trip, and best of luck for a short trial. See you when you get back.
It wasn't that they decided to do the fin over. Rather, the "Old Bird" appears at 18:34, takes one look, and tells them to re-do it.
That's no way to talk about the wife. :)
great
The concrete pumper reminded me of a video clip I saw where one was using just water and aimed at a brush fire.
Bonjour de 🇫🇷 👍 👍👍
Now to Deal with what the workers was Looking at you sure it was sent you running around your apartment in the boxer shorts lol I love the Soft touch to the them Caps lol I always Believe if it wont go a BIG Hammer will work there's living Proof lol Great Vlog I'm not sure that Phone Dance will Catch on thou lol
The "let's take it apart and do it again" section, seemed to happen a lot of times on the windows too. What are they doing? milking it for more hours? more $$ overtime? Who knows?
This must be one of the most expensive facades, designed and executed, yet not weatherproof!
gran chirulon !
It will be interesting to see how many leaks that building has in the next few years.
Enjoy your vacation and I hope that if you do catch a jury it’s an interesting case and that you can do justice. I’ve been called three times in my life and never been sat on a jury yet. Lawyers take one look at me and say “pass”. I have no idea why. On the other hand, I had a friend get on a Federal Racketeering case with like 15 defendants. It took over 4 months , three days a week to hear the entire case. He had a job that paid him anyway but imagine if he didn’t? Good luck!
Actually, I have been on a jury twice in the past, including an "Assault with a deadly weapon" case. It is interesting to watch the process.
Hi it’s Stacie! Awesome video and songs and all kinds of men working hard? check check check! I will miss you the next two weeks so until then take care! By the way that dancing guy was funny!
👍👍
26:40 I hope this is not the same guy who let dropped down that thing in the last episode, especially from this height. 🤔😲🚑
good morning from Thailand, they have the same in UK with the parrots there are now huge flocks, been keeping up how much longer will we be with you and the construction till finish
The first round putting on the pressure plates someone must have thought: oh well, it’s just a decorative strip, it doesn’t matter exactly where this needs to come!…
Those strips came pre-attached to the curtain wall sections. I suspect when the sections were lifted into place by the tower crane and attached to the concrete (which we saw in earlier episodes) they didn't all end up at exactly the same position down to the millimeter, there's some small amount of variation, so the strips ended up being off a bit. That's just my suspicion. Could be a combination of both things, I suppose.
HC, loving the new format. Thank you for keeping it fresh. Do you take playlist requests? I'd love to hear a selection of my favorite songs from the early weeks of this project. I'm missing those favorites. I can provide a song list if you like. Thank you
Hadn't really thought about that, I try to cycle through the music at least some and not always use the same, and sometimes mix in some new. I usually make at least some attempt to match up the music with whatever is happening, sometimes successfully, sometimes less so. Usually when I hear about the music, it is complaints, lol. Sure, give me a list of your favorites (no promises though)!
@@HospitalConstruction here is the list, and thank you. 😊

Thanks for the list, we'll see! It is always interesting to hear what people like. I should mention, though, that "In Your Skin 2" was just used in the prior episode!
@@HospitalConstruction Thank you sir!
Do you know how close to finishing the project is? Cause it looks more than halfway done to me. (Maybe even 3/4)
I took a look at the construction website, where they tell us "It is a priority to communicate with our neighbors." It says construction "is expected to conclude in winter 2021."
What are fins
i want to work there,!!!!?
el fin...?? 🤔
This is American construction technology ... it takes time to install and remove ...
Things don't line up. Like why American motorcycles don't line up with European and Japanese...
