    i outfitted mine in a stalker upgrade kit. it easily shoots 60 meters accurate. it goes further but not that accurate. its an amazing piece of kit for sure.

    I appreciate your opinion, especially because I didn't know about the hammer issue, so I just ordered a new hammer set based on what you've said here. I have had my aap-01 for a little over a year now, I have put several thousand rounds through it, and it still functions flawlessly. Everything is stock, at least until it breaks. I love this pistol! I'm back into airsoft now after 12 years and am amazed by the leaps and bounds of advancement in the products for this game, and I'm sure it's only happened because of players like you giving honest reviews on gear. Thank you for doing what you do for this hobby. Keep giving honest advice, I'll keep watching

    its such a good beginner pistol when its stock but once you upgrade it and show it some love and money it can easily be an amazing pro or competition gun

      doesn't really need a lot of money if you don't run it in full just put tue action army hop up upgrade with a maple leaf 60° and fill with nuprol 4.0 ( black) and you got a pocket sniper that can reach easily 300 feet with .36

    • @pewpewpaladin
      @pewpewpaladin  2 роки тому

      @@francisgilbert3941 91 meters on the standard barrel seems optimistic to me.. I assume there is more to this than just a hop-up and more powerful gas.. Plus running it on denser gas is surely going to effect the life expectancy?

      @@pewpewpaladin the only internal upgrade y have are the action army cnc hop up and a 60° maple leaf bucking. i have the original inner barrel. the other thing y change on the gun ar simply esthethic as the trigger will not affect that or the black mamba receiver or a tti cocking and selector switch will not affext the performance of the gun. you have the rigjt to say i lie but everyone at my field have seem it and i outrange a ssg10a1 ( stock ) with my pistol i might not have as much accuracy as the ssg10 at this range but i can shoot easily a tree at 300 feet.

    I would say glock, getting holsters/magazine pouches is so easy. The safety is a problem on some models IMO, but learn your kit. If you want to run around with something silly go ahead, having fun is what I want to see.

    Hi what's your experience with SRU? I have seem many cool stuffs from them but I don't know who they are, what's the quality like, where they ship from and how long it takes for shiping to UK.

    • @pewpewpaladin
      @pewpewpaladin  2 роки тому

      Hi, SRU are a great company and all of their products are made to an extremely high standard. They ship from Taiwan and it usually takes about 72hours from the parcel being collected.
      You can also get some SRU stuff from UK sites such as patrolbase. If you do purchase direct from SRU, don't forget to use the promo code Paladin at checkout for 10% off 😉

    Still a newbie to airsoft and I wouldn’t buy one, I’d stick with a semi auto glock or 1911. Personally as a newbie not confident enough yet to start taking guns to bits and repair guns.

      @pewpewpaladin  2 роки тому +1

      Glocks are fantastic, no matter your experience level.

      The AAP-01 is easier then most gas pistols to strip down so I would’t get hung up on that and bonus - It’s also more accurate than most out of the box.
      The hammer failure is an issue for some but in the year I’ve had mine it’s not been a problem and I now run it as a HPA carbine utilising auto as much as semi.
      As with all new starters you soon fall into the airsoft black hole of wanting to upgrade and so the first thing to do is the Achilles heal and fit either the cowcow stainless hammer set or the same parts from a W.E. Glock. If you don’t feel confident stripping and fitting the hammer set then a local gun tech should be around the £25-30 at he most. With this fitted you could run it forever and a day just simply maintaining it between skirmishes.
      Don’t get me wrong I love an Umarex glock 19x or the 18c but you will pay double the price for them and some parts are proprietary rather than commonly used by many which is another big thing that favours the AAP.
      One thing I would say is that if you are at your local site and see someone with an AAP talk to them about it. I guarantee you will be given the pistol to try and it will change your mind. That said if we where all the same we would all run the same boring kit so go with what you like but don’t discount something unless you have shot it and it sucked.
