I have a lovely A3 that I got on Amazon. I almost got an A2 by accident, but I don't have much workspace. If I ever do, I will definitely get an A2, but the A3 (I would have to look onsite for the brand) has just been the best! It came with little feet/tabs in the corners, so you probably have something that will work. When one of mine came off, I jerryrigged one with a tackdot that came from some packaging and duct tape.
Thanks Kim. You do pretty good on Prime Day girl! I too love those storage containers and have several of those 5 packs...so handy for max color kits. Love the new light board. I had the same problem with my light board switch as you so I bought a lightboard switch cover from Amazon and that took care of the problem of my hand hitting it all the time. I use one of those little sticky mats cut into 4 pieces on the bottom corners of my light pad to keep it from sliding around....but able to move it when I need to. Enjoy all your new goodies!
Hey Kim I have that light pad the clips do work. Mine sits on a table cloth so I don't have a problem with it sliding. I also take a piece of crafting masking tape and tape down any part that's not attached. But again I only work on one big one at a time. Because I use my smaller one for smaller DPs. Then I have a small one for my special shapes 30x30s. My husband last year bought me I think all the sizes. WOW I will have to go check and see if I can find my drills for my cross stitch conversion. Thanks for showing all this stuff.
Hi Tammy! I got rubber bottoms to put on it. It will also lift it up a bit. People have told me to try painters tape. And crafters tape sounds good too! So many ideas. I love it! Thanks! ❤
I just had to purchase a new light pad as mine finally went out after about 5 years. I purchased an ART DOT brand and received all kinds of stuff with it. Included was a stand which I already had and some of the little boxes you showed and all the other necessities of diamond painting. You really could use a stand to put the pad on. It works wonders to keep it in place and makes it so much easier on the neck and shoulders. Good Luck!
Hi Taysgranny! Thanks for the information! I have received a stand for a lightpad before. I ended up using it for my Elizabeth Ward trays when I’m diamond painting out of them. But I eventually would like to try diamond painting on an angle I don’t know if I’ll like it. I’ve been resistant since I started diamond painting, but I do think it would help my back, shoulders and posture.
I love that light board, but I have a large easel I use and it has a lip on it, so my painting fits with the lightboard, but I do it at an angle rather than flat. Helps me with shoulder fatigue.
Great haul! On prime day I couldn't resist! Artdot had their 420 bottle case on sale for $55 I was able to get 8 WIP kits set up in it! I was running out of storage. Guess I need to work on my WIPS! HA HA 😂❤😊
I’m curious to hear how the frame works for you and if the three magnets can hold a diamond painting. Also, if just one hook can hold the weight. I am thinking of getting some of these hanging frame but I was thinking of using two hooks spread apart to distribute the weight.
Hi Susan, I will be framing it on video. I hope it works too 😅 I plan to cut the sides off. And I figure if the painting is too heavy I can maybe try a strip of double sided adhesive on each side of the wood? Or maybe try glue if the tape doesn’t work. But we’ll test it together ❤❤ As far as the hooks, I will give you guys updates on how it does outside. Bob wants to secure it on the bottom too. He is worried about the wind kicking it up and blowing it off the hook. 💨
Hey Kim. Please do a video or a series about your HEAD canvass experience i.e. printing it onto transparency paper. I watched the video by Diamond Painting Between the Lines, and I thought that the whole process looked immensely complicated. 🤣. I was like, no way girl, it's much easier to just get a blank canvass and use pattern keeper. 😂. So yeah, I'd love to see and hear your experience. Anyway, awesome haul of goodies! ❤
Hiiiiii! I am going to show my process in my Christmas series. I already started it 😅 I had a hard time finishing my Christmas project last year and didn’t make it. I don’t want to have that issue this year. PTSD kicking in hard 😂 but I will be going through my process then ❤️❤️❤️
I have the same light pad. I really like it. I don’t clip my DP down though. As far as it moving around…. I put little padded felt squares on the corners underneath it. Works perfect. 👍 GREAT job on all your goodies. Fun, fun! Enjoy!
I would LOVE to have a light pad with the functions on a chord…..drives me NUTS changing the intensity and turning it off with my hand on my painting. Not sure I want one that large. My other pet peeve with light pads are how to plug in power cord in to the pad…..this takes care of BOTH!!!
Nice haul KIm. I think if you had some small cupboard door stoppers ( little stoppers that stop the doors from slamming...sold on Amazon) you could just stick them on the bottom and it would stop the light pad from sliding. I love shopping at Amazon. I can usually find something I want.
I thought about that. I was in Walmart yesterday, and I ended up getting sticky pads. The cost was almost equivalent. They’re also pretty thick. So I’m hoping I can use my clips to under it again.
I’m so sorry this is so late! Here’s a link. And it’s on sale! 🤗 if you haven’t found them already. Just keep in mind it’s an associate link. It doesn’t add any cost to the product but may give me a small commission. Thanks for watching! Ps the best way to tackle confetti! amzn.to/3Qsg51K
US Art Supply Extra Large Adjustable Wood Artist Drawing & Sketching Board 26" Wide x 21" Tall and to put your light pad so you can be easier to do your diamond painting
You could always try that tacky shelf liner under your light pad
That’s what I was going to say 😊 I use it under my sewing machine and serger
Thank you for the suggestions! I show how I fixed my issues in my latest kit and chat…It’s in the beginning of the video ❤️❤️ thanks for watching 😘😘

The A3 was awesome while I used it! I was very happy. I’m extremely happy with the A2 too! ❤ thanks so much for watching! 🥰🥰

Thanks Carol! I looked into a switch cover too. I figured I want a larger one anyway. So I went for it 😂
I use sticky pads to keep my light pad in place. Oh and get magnetic plugs to avoid the strain on the connection for your old light pad.
I got a pack from Walmart yesterday 🤗
Magnetic plugs? I never heard of such magic! I’ll have to look it up 👀👀

Get a couple of the sticky pads to go underneath. I also use painters tape to hold my painting on the light pad.
That’s what I got! At Walmart. I got a bag of them. That’s a great idea…painters tape😮 I’ll have to try that! Thanks! ❤
That was a nice haul you had from Amazon. Can't wait to see what you do with it all. 😊
Thank you Diane! I’ve started the Christmas project already! 🤗

Thank you 💕💕
What a fantastic haul! I love the lightpad!!!❤❤❤ God bless you, sweetie!
Thank you Sweet T! I’m so happy with my light pad! Definitely worth it!!❤ love ya!!😘😘
You could put a rubber mat or shelf liner underneath your new light.
Thank you Gilda! I found a solution 🤗🤗 I show what I used and why etc in my last kit up video ❤️❤️❤️

Oh wow! That’s a great idea!! I am feeling like maybe I should have ordered more on prime day!❤

Great haul. I ordered the same light pad. I have a glass art table I got from Hobby Lobby. This is the perfect size.
I absolutely love the lightpad! I added the non skid pads and it’s just perfect ❤🎉😊

😊 I have enjoyed your Christmas projects so much previously 💗 You will be making my Christmas brighter!
Thank you Alice! I have the first week or so recorded already! I’m excited 🎉🎉

I did that! I love it Peggy! Wish I ordered it sooner❤❤❤
Hi Kimba, loved the title - a pile of smiles 😁 Really interested to see what happens with the transparent sheets.
Thank you! So far…it’s going well! I already started my Christmas Canvas…I have PTSD from my last one and was able to finish…❤
Hi Kim - just keep in mind transparency sheets are one sided for printing!!!
Hi Prue! Thank you! I did ok with that. Then I put the adhesive sheet on the wrong side 😅😅 it’s ok though! I got a page done ❤

Oh my. You understand! It DROVE ME CRAZY! I absolutely LOVE this lightpad! The only reason I’m mad is I waited so long!!! ❤❤❤

Just use a sheet of that rubbery shelf liner under your light pad.
I thought about that. I was in Walmart yesterday, and I ended up getting sticky pads. The cost was almost equivalent. They’re also pretty thick. So I’m hoping I can use my clips to under it again.
I’m doing the welcome sign. What size frame? Thanks 😊
Hi Bethanne, I got the 16” one. I plan to cut the sides off. ❤️❤️
Thanks I just ordered it!
Do you know that stuff that you put underneath your rugs that don’t make a move put it underneath your iPad?
Hi Nicole! I thought about that and the shelf liner, but I show what I ended up using in my last kit and chat video. ❤️❤️
Do you have a link for the storage containers? Thx
