Hi from Australia- just found your channel. I started diamond painting in Nov 23 and I am obsessed. Have done 39 things ranging from bookmarks, coasters , large paintings, smaller painting and bags. Best hobby ever love it
Hi. An Ozzie here as well. I have been diamond painting for 6 years now and still love it. However, have to admit that after doing 5 large ( 50x 75cm, 60 x 80 , 60 x 90 and two 70x100cm ) paintings in a row, I had a bit of the burnout and stepped away from it for a few months. Now , firmly back in a saddle, currently working on another 70 x 100 cm monster and loving it.
I have one kit and I have not started it yet. Been looking at various different internet sources for info out of curiosity is all. I’m shocked at the differences in prices. Obviously it’s quality issues but what exactly is what I don’t understand. Amazon has kits for under $20. Name brand kits are over $100. Why? One more question. What is tape used for?

It's so easy to become obessed, right? So many to paint too. I like the small projects in between my larger canvases, keeps things fresh.

Personally i normally do the ones that are easiest first for instance I always do DAC first hope this helps 😊

Some use it to section off the painting and others use it on the border to cover up the sticky part that is outside the diamond painting area.
