When Allah tests us, it is never to destroy us. When He removes something from our possession, it is only in order to empty our hands for an even greater gift.
Greater gift is the Pleasure of Allah and then the reward of jannah, but in this world Allah is testing us so that our actions be a real proof for us or against us, and we cannot excuse ourselves in any way Surah Al-Ankaboot, Verse 3: وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ And certainly We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will certainly know the liars. Surah Al-Mumenoon, Verse 99: حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 100: لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. Qur'an 2:214: أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ Or do you think that you would enter the garden while yet the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you; distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Apostle and those who believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the help of Allah is nigh!
Listening to Scholar Mufti Menk brings me closer to Allah swt. Such an knowledgeable scholar with firm belief in Allah swt! May Allah swt forgive us, have mercy on us on this day, in the darkness of graves, and the day when we will be resurrected before Allah swt.

THAT is something really important. How many times do people ask why "bad" people get everything in this life and "good" people die in poverty and suffering? Alhamdulillah. Content is the condition of the believer. :-)
Anyone who repeats constantly allah will open for him the doors of knowledge and wisdom anyone whose particular task does not seem to be accomplished should repeat this beatiful name of allah frequently and constantly soon will his task be accomplished inshan allah meening al hakim. Anyyone who says this beatiful name of allah in seclusion to such an extent and in such a manner that he becomes euphoric then the light and noor of allah will soon become evident in his heart meenig Al majid

Allah says in Holy Quran, do not consider that once we have placed you on the earth that we are not going to test you. All Muslims have to be patient. The disbelievers will live up to gaining as much from this worldly life as they can even if it means persecuting others to do so. Allah teaches the believers to be patient, pass through this life only fearing Allah, abiding with Islam as true guidance and winning the hereafter blessings, eternal life after death. Those chasing this life may be punished eternally in the hereafter. Let brothers and sisters be patient... Allah is at the beginning and will be with the believers in the end. There will come the day of recompense where there will be losers and gainers.

My question and more of request to brother mufti ismail menk is Is it possible to do lecture about mixed faiths marriages I think lots of Muslim struggling due to our ignorance and being distant from holy quraan some loosing their children in process. My question is about couples who are married not before Thank you
I dont want to sound rude but I always asked myself why is this life a test when we dont even remember to have been asked if we want to be humans. I know Allah asked us before if we want to be angels or humans but we dont remember that... and why did Allah asked us to worship Him when we dont remember asking for a life? Im sorry if my question sounds rude
It's all part of the test which we can't always see or understand..it all becomes clear in the next life so for now we just got to do what we got to do without questioning or doubting too much. We can't think like god so only he knows . It's all part of faith inshallah Allah guides us and helps us all to become stronger believers
