Paul has had frozen shoulder and bad back, and surgery to fix it between filming the tasks and the studio shows, so throughout a lot of the tasks he was just in physical pain.
I don't know if you've done it yourself or hired an editor, but this many series in I just wanted to say: I really appreciate how you've added to the opening sequence with each series. It's honestly all edited so perfect. I'm almost more accustomed to this opener now than the actual one since I always watch yours and skip the real ones to avoid spoilers. lol
I love this comment, I do the same for my Brooklyn 99 Reactions but it works so well with the Taskmaster show. I'm glad you like the final product And yes, I do edit it myself, I've never had an editor or hired anyone to help out.
Paul got diagnosed with Parkinson’s, either after the tasks but before the studio record or after the studio but before it aired. He’s talked about it a lot and medical classes use clips of him on the show as examples of signs of early onset. He then had a shoulder operation right before the studio records which is why he’s awful at live tasks.
Paul had an undiagnosed Parkinson. Its rumored that he got diagnosed because a doctor watching the show suggested to him to get checked for it, but this is unconfirmed.
I'm not sure about that, but he did say on the TM podcast that some doctors used clips of him doing the show as learning aids when training new docs about parkinsons and the ways it can present itself
I like this season/series, but agree that they didn't quite get the balance of personalities right. All of them belong on Taskmaster, but together they don't quite work. Still very enjoyable. One of the amazing things about the show, even the misses are still pretty damn good.
Jesus Christ (read that in your mind in Greg's astonished voice). I'd really, really forgotten just how charming Iain naturally is. There's just something about the dude that moves me 🥲 I think, out of all the crushes I've had on Taskmaster, and I'm a weak man, so there have been many, he's right up there in top 3 👌🏻 he's just naturally charming, I'm genuinely intrigued to know what it is, but damn. Lucky wife that is 😂
@tobiasgund8048 Lucy is perhaps half an act. Yes, she's very, very weird (so is Sam), but she's aware of it and is playing it up. I feel that Joe is genuinely just being himself.
Enjoyed the exploding nipples imagery 🤣 and love that you've got asim's song at the end. Just wish it included the part about wanting to have Greg's babies too 👶

Joe and sharn as a team feel like a mother and son team while the other three is more like the divorced dad taking his kids to the zoo for the weekend
Sian*
Even though I know it's coming, Joe meeting Sian in the most awkward fashion ever cracks me up every time.
Joe meeting Sian is so funny, but as an autistic person... that's exactly how I am meeting most people. He's a weirdo, but he's relatable.
Paul has had frozen shoulder and bad back, and surgery to fix it between filming the tasks and the studio shows, so throughout a lot of the tasks he was just in physical pain.
I love this season to be honest. How they all sincerely care but are all a little weird is amazing.

Joe and Sian go from the most awkward meeting ever to wholesome Mother and Son energy and I love it

'They are a bit too quirky all of them for me!' ... Ho boy if the reactions ever get to S 16 that will be a thing 😅
might be my favorite season tbh
@@kilian-one-l mine too 🥳
Season 17 is quite quirky as well
Of all the new people I've learned of through the (now 17) seasons, Joe Thomas is one of the strangest humans.
I like this season/series, but agree that they didn't quite get the balance of personalities right. All of them belong on Taskmaster, but together they don't quite work. Still very enjoyable.

Joe is one ofmy favorite contestants. Trying deserately to maintain his dignity but willing to give it a go. So veryBritidh.

Joe and Sian meeting is just extraordinarily weird. I love it.
"You've got a cuppa tea"
"Yeah..... i do"
wtf guys lol
If you think this is weird, then you will be blown away by our currently newest season.
@@tobiasgund8048 S16 definitely has a very high weirdness quotient. But I think that Joe is just naturally weird, in an way that's not an act.

There's a compilation of "Alex and the Horne Section". It's very funny...I think you'll like it.
I was in Liphook yesterday

Dick & Dom are a pair of children's entertainers, they're both a reaction just for the time they nearly killed a kid.

I spent about 20 minutes trying desperately to get those 2 lines to go together but it just felt off lol
But great minds!
Awwww.... You can really see Paul's tremor. 😬😬
Thank you for the Kung Pow reference. I quote that movie way too often.
Im sure sian reaches the highest pitch of anyone in any series
Id agree

@@KaiLucasZachary you can post unlisted videos on youtube that are only accessible with a link, then make them public later

The trick is to not put the video in a playlist until its ready to go public, and leave the video as Unlisted. It took some figuring out though lol
This seasons cast is great, just not as much of a banger as 7 or 9.
Did you just confuse the band Kasabian with Dick and Dom?? :)
It's likely, yes
Seriously though, what noise could you make as a clue for a compass?? 🧭
