As good as Mark and Nish's song is, nothing will ever be funnier to me than Bob staying relatively quiet throughout his song before belting out with as much passion as possible "Rosalind's a fucking nightmare"
I wrote a novel last year and specifically named a character Rosalind so I could have the antagonist say "Rosalind's a fucking nightmare." One of those 'if you know, you know' easter eggs for people ;)
Alex running around picking up the signs that blow over during their song elevates it to an even funnier moment. But Mark and Nish's song is just so unexpectedly good that it becomes one of the best tasks across any series.
This season is so jam-packed with great moments and has such a great cast that I always forget it's still only has eight episodes. From here on out it's 10, but these five did more with 8 than some casts do with full series.
This is my favourite ever episode of this. The song is awesome, but Bob's story about filling the Woolwich Ferry with "gallons of piss" to exact revenge is just second to none. I'm in tears every fucking time I hear it. And not forgetting "do we strike you? Have you ever stolen? What's your favourite meat? Would you like to be able to fly?" One more thing, slightly obscure, but I think Sally's "I thought you were just bad at speaking" was one of the best punchlines to a long running thing I've ever heard
That song was Mark and particularly Nish's big surprise/redemption arc to end the series 😊Got excited thinking you're now only one season away from my favourite, but I've just realised there's a Champion and Champions to get through first, too!
@@unpreparedwithacapitalf yes, I meant Season 7 is my favourite 😄it always tickles me how Rhod tries to wind up Greg as often as possible throughout😂I thought he was one season away (just needed to get through season 6) before realising he had to get through Champions, too!
The name Bob Mortimer is 100% itched in my brain, even though I'd already seen this series, but it's for the wrong reasons, I'm afraid. You've consistently, persistently said it wrong throughout the entire series 😂
Aislings episode of travel man is a fabulous watch if you want more classic AB. Actually, travel man in general has a fair few memorable moments. Especially the drinking highlight reel.
I have to say we Dutchies don't wear a helmet either and we have more bikes then people But ofc for scooters and motorcycles we wear a helmet not for bicycles
If you were genuinely looking for lifesize cardboard cut outs of Taskmaster participants, you would be better off trying thr UK version of Amazon. The Aussie site is less likely to stock them.
we have very different tastes this season is in my top 3, but thats good because season 6 is in my bottom 3 together with the corona once. in case anyone is wondering the other top 3 are season 7 and 9 .....no i dont hate even numbers its just a coincidents.
does this mean mike wozniak's season is in your bottom 3 since that's a corona one?! i do agree about series 6 and the covid seasons though, bar series 11, because the lack of live audience is a bit weird.
unfortunatly yes, i did not enjoy it as much, the studio banter is for me the most important part, and wozniak had one epic moment at the end but that doesnt safe it :P @@unpreparedwithacapitalf
i would say season 2 is best for first viewing then season 1 (despite liking both of them i think season 2 is easier to get into and makes u get used to the new tm and assistant ) then after that the normal order would be perfect (as season 4 references season 3 and other seasons so it being last would make sense)
That song task is absolutely the task that everyone has been waiting for you to reach this season.

Was waiting for this episode. Was gonna say if you hadn't turned around on mark.... The song will absolutely do it.

Does she run quite well, for a woman of her age?
Do we strike her?

i'm trying to figure out which season is your favourite because i've never seen anyone say 6 is their favourite but everyone is obsessed with 7

I told you you were going to change your mind about Mark :)
Can't wait for Champion of Champions!!!!

@@JohnDoe-xz1mw ah, fair enough! horses for courses or whatever they say. series 10 was the same way for me really
i thinkk you confused "akward" with AMAZING in the price task.
I know you already started reacting on your patreon, but just on paper, which one of the first five Champions were you rooting for the most?
More-timer and Beckett
I thought Bob, Sally and Aisling's song was funny and not that bad. "Garbage" seems a little harsh 😂
I am not spoiling anything by saying that the song is the only task when every contestant does well from past and all future series.
I actually was surprised recently. Neither Nish or Ashleigh won a episode. I think it might be the only season with so few winners.

Bob Mor-Timer? 🤦🏻♀️
Greg is just really tall 6 foot 9
