In the beginning it was good on the steps how to prep and clean the plastic moldings, but the thing that I didn't like was how the painting came out cause there was alot of runs, and that happens because you've sprayed too close to the panels. You technically have to spray at a distance to avoid runs from happening. I know this because my dad and I used to paint cars and do body work on the side. Our hobby was fixing up custom lowriders.
Thank you for your input… I will definitely be doing that next time- spray at a distance. It must be nice to be learning from your dad - even better working on custom lowriders 😎 I’m trying to learn to paint my own cars- only problem is not having a booth 😬
Yes, my wife is a keeper. 😉 I used a total of 3 spray cans- if you want to give more coats maybe 4 cans will do (3 coats). Thank you for your comment and for your support.
What paint did you use? I might have missed that part. It looks fabulous. We have a white 2004 expedition. Do u know if those side panels come off easily? We had Ford replace them when the truck was in warranty but they faded again. 🤷♀️
I used the bumper and trim black paint depends if you want it glossy or matte black (which is not glossy). Yes they are easy to take off but the plastic holders break easily and they don’t go back in nicely as they used to if you removed them. Best of luck.

Great job
Thank you
Most sporadic paint can handling I’ve ever seen, blotchy with runs on top of runs.
🫣😬😅

long sweeping strokes and further distance from panels
Will do next time. Thank you for your comment.
My running boards were a light tan
It looks ok, but think you could have made it better if you were not so close to the trim and your strokes were longer and not so short
Will do next time- thank you for your comment.
Yikes 😱
One at a time … 😅
