Hey everyone, it's Cliff here! ☕🐶 In this video, I break down the absolute worst advice I've ever heard on The Dave Ramsey Show. George Kamel, usually reasonable and logical, gave some advice that was completely off the mark. 🤯
In this episode, George told an 86-year-old woman with $30,000 in credit card debt to get a job and sell her home! Can you believe that? Join me as I dive into why this advice was not only unhelpful but downright harmful.
🔍 Key Points:
George Kamel's usual advice vs. this particular episode
The impact of corporate pressure on financial advisors
Why selling the house and getting a job isn't the solution for this elderly woman
The importance of compassionate financial advice

Nobody thought renting a room was a better option than working at 86?!? 😮
OMG George! I didn't hear the whole call, but at this point I think she is going to pass on before she could possibly lose the house. Sometimes he doesn't think and he doesn't take certain things into consideration. Just cookie cutter answers.
Can't even listen to this! 86 and broke. Very sad. Not much she can do.
At 86 years old you're recommending she get another job, not good advice!
