      The Bible does not say that debt is a sin. It says that getting into debt without repaying is a sin.

    WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I'm from South Africa, I'm attending a Bible School (at 46 years old 😊) and just sent this link to our class and my pastors wife and a pastor friend in Mozambique. I have been watching Dave's shows on UA-cam since December and we started the baby steps in Feb. BUT this interview pushed my conviction next, next level! Hope we could bring the Peace University to our congregation here in Centurion (Pretoria) and start raising the church of SA and Africa to their true calling. Thank you so much!!! It was revolutionary!!

    I often think of how much we could do as Christians, as tithing Christians who are following biblical principles, we could do in the world to help others who are not as fortunate as us. Think about it…!!!

    it is an honour and a joy to give back money… True it is not our money. We take each breath each and every time because He is giving it to us.

    I’m commenting at the start of the video so I’m not sure if the content will answer this. I’ve been deciphering whether I’m called to the professional ministry for almost eight years. It’s one day at a time; I’m in online seminary but I tell myself that I’m learning these things first and foremost for my relationship with God and deciphering His call on my life. A huge question is the amount of money that a pastor makes. I’m in a bit of debt but should have it paid off in the next year or two. My current job sucks but makes awesome money. I don’t know if I have the requisite character for pastoral ministry. Pray for me.

      God can use anyone so far as you yield yourself to Him and obey His directions. Don't think less of yourself. You're called to bless your generation postively. Pray about it and follow His leading, stay pure and keep loving Him

    6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
    6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
    6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
    6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

    You can’t serve 2 masters . people’s relationship with money says so much about them as people. Money is one of the most powerful ways Satan has of dividing people, best of friends , fathers and sons Satan will make them argue over money

    Ao you guys really believe that pastors who are 80 are still pastoring is because they dont have an retirement? Thats a complete insult! They can simply be faithful men of God who passion is still to bring people to Christ until their last breath.

    • @TalkingChurch
      @TalkingChurch  5 місяців тому

      Hey Tony, it’s absolutely not true that all pastors in their 80’s that way! Praise God for anyone who continues to minister far beyond what the world seems “retirement age”. The problem I was referencing is unfortunately all too common, however. Pastors who don’t have a succession plan, or don’t have the financial freedom to move on and end up ministering longer than they may be effective because of it. Keep on ministering! - Logan
