    Honestly, don't worry about using your toilet. Sure, it's not a pleasant thought to start with, but it really isn't a problem once you've done it a couple of times. Put it this way, if you're not grossed out by changing a baby's nappy, then emptying a toilet is a doddle.
    The same thing happened to our breakaway cable last week - I must sort that out before we go out on another trip.
    Great vids - thanks for sharing, K.

    So cool seeing you in my back yard. On the ferry reminds me of my trips away with my wee dog to dog shows (now past). My sister and hubby have bus ( and had cat) and last yr came up to this site so i joined them. Love the lambs. So many memories, thanks. Man told me other day unlevel caravan affects gas ?flow and dangerous. Have you heard this?

    Hi Karen well done , you amaze me that journey in the dark was quite frightening considering you didn’t know where you where going but you did it 👏👏👏 that looked a nice site 👍 Your brake cable won’t cost much and they are quite easy to fit they tend to go like that after a while 🤪

    I towed a big older style caravan down to Nelson from AK, behind my Toyota HiAce van,longer than your Nissan. The Blue Bridge ferry I was on was not drive on drive off,but there was plenty of turning space inside and the staff are always most helpfull with the vehicals.The lane I parked on,went round and came back out again as I think they all do.But the RSA car park "POP" in Picton is very small and has no room for caravans as I soon found out after driving along the no exit very narrow rd,and needed to reverse all the way back out of there.Being a Freedom Camper and not useing camp sites,I parked in the domain feild under the trees,but someone rang the council and I was soon told to move !!. Ha ha.

    • @TravellingK
      @TravellingK  5 років тому

    When in Wellington and waiting for the ferry crossing,I normaly park at Evans Bay marina.Good toilets and waste dump.I think you are allowed to stay there up to three nights.Can get congested with "People mover/vans" though,but all have to be self contained certified.Plenty of turning room for a caravan if not congested.There is the old rugby feild over at Miramar just opersite the petrol station and befor the AirPort. Turn left off the main rd to the airport and it's behind the trees easy to find.If you are a Plane spotter its good for that. BK burger 3 mins walk has the toilets.Good flat ground with plenty of access in and out.No congestion.
