Her perfect diction came through when she sang. That lady had such a beautiful voice. We are lucky to have her recordings. She truly was one of a kind. I met her in the 1980’s in Cardiff South Wales. It was a Vic Damon’s concert. This was just before they married and were engaged. He brought her on stage and she sang. Everyone was captivated by her incredible voice and beauty. There was a Lord Mayor reception afterwards, they both attended. She was so natural and gracious. As for her beauty, her skin was flawless. A 20 year old would have killed for skin like hers. She was late 40’s at this time and was on Dynasty. But she made time for everyone there who wanted to talk to her. It really was an honour to meet this wonderful lady. RIP Ms Carroll, heaven has a new angel.

Having read both Carroll's and Walters's books, both women have so much in common and a mutual respect for each other. If you haven't read either lady's book, I highly recommend both. They're quick, entertaining, and enlightening reads.
