Thanks so much! Your tutorial is the absolute best! I have watched others that are too complicated.
I had a bit of a problem when trying to use your tutorial. My SVG file was grouped. That meant every time I attached a coloured square to the matching coloured layer, the entire svg turned that colour. After much frustration thinking I can't follow directions, I realized I needed to ungroup the file. Once I did that, I was able to put those registration marks on each coloured layer. I'm a newbie. Only been at this a month. It's all a learning curve. I'm now going to attempt a layered vinyl decal using your instructions. Thanks so much.

You could use a transfer light board to see the lines better.
I got one on Alexpress for £10 helps if you need more light.
