Sorry it took so long to make this. truth be told with how much you guys like these it gave me a lot of pressure to make a video and i crack under pressure like an egg at breakfast. I scrapped like 3 videos before I made this and honestly, I just like how it came out. I tried some new things, there's two songs in this. one, so that's pretty nifty!

This is why voice acting even on a mid character is so important to a story. The same story could have been told with little to no effect.
Yet Lena, Ardbert, even the soldiers who got taken by the 1 sineater.
The power of real voice acting made the story more than anything else. You could feel emotion drawing you into the events.

This story made me cry many times more than any story in existence ever has

Words to live by
Lyna's breakdown has been done in so many other places, but it always gets to me. The person who breaks from stoicism because they have felt hope, perhaps for the first time ever, and how it makes loss even more keen. They made this story so well, they used the ideas that come together to form tales of loss, struggle, hopelessness, hopefulness, sacrifice, and people just trying to hold on that all feel real. And I like how, even though we can never be what Hades wanted us to be...He still thought our quality of character strong enough to extend a hand of friendship to us. Because he was right, though people in general are not like to sacrifice of themselves to save others, the Bringer of Light and Darkness and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn do. Without hesitation, even when they might resent that they are the ones who must sacrifice in the service of others.
Her breakdown always punches me lightly in the gut. To see someone so strong and stoic fall to a level of despair, it happens to us, but we never expect it to those we look towards for strength.
Her VA did a amazing job

That is what this whole expansion is about I feel like. Just trying to find hope where there is none, and taking your despair and using it as a weapon because there is nothing left. Did you notice the WoL doesn't smile at all when they defeat the Light Wardens? Unlike past Expacs where we smile and nod or cheer, we just solemnly look down.
It's her voice that does it. From rage to sadness in the blink of an eye, that is what always hits me.
Yeah, I'm another one is absolutely destroyed every time I see Lyna breakdown. Definitely brought tears to the eyes when I first experienced it in game.

I really loved Lynas Breakdown in that Situation. And i love it even more in the English Version coz of the little whimper in between. When her Voice goes all whiney thats so powerfull so emotional, you can literally feel her pain and helplesness. I watched the CS in all Languages and imo the English Version is by far the best! Well done to the amazing Voice Actor!!!
Shadowbringers brought me so much love and pain and happiness and mourning. I fell in love with so many characters and rarely found a dull moment. I was enthralled. I wish I could replay it again blind.
Ardbert having to watch on passively as everything goes to shit around him was so painful. Thank you for reminding me of that scene, and Lyna's breakdown.

again amazing job to the feels gut punch XD. Lyna's breakdown during that part is just so hard to see. Cause all of us feel like that. How much of a win is that when so many are dead.

My Warrior of Darkness was unleashing his abyss since heavensward. ShB only allowed him to unleash it further, unleash his inner darkness even more and grow in terms o both mental and physical fortitude. This was the one where it all came down to the line, one false move could lead to a calamitous mistake of untold proportions. But upon coming to the conclusion , upon realizing the truth and the "true" enemy beaten, the victory is hollow. Remember us, Remember that we once lived. That we too had loves, friends , and rivals. Yes we are the same as you. But upon my many years of living I was forced to watch the same damned scene play over and over, whereas my people when they had a difference in opinion could resolve it without resorting to bloodshed! Every line he spoke of his people was another punch to the gut, whereas others resided in darkness and secrecy , he laid his intentions bare.
Nothing hurts more then the truth and yet nothing needs be said more then the truth

Ignoring the plight of those one might conceivably save is not wisdom, but indolence.
Shadowbringers was just done so /well/! I love all the characters, I /feel/ for all the characters. You actually feel for Emet-Selch, which argueablymakes him the best villain in the game. It hits hard and has some of the best story in the entire game.
This was the strongest moment for me

Honestly man, these are great videos and need much more appreciation. I loved Shadowbringers, more than I've loved Heavensward.
