Castellan is just nice to have. The mana charge is useful, the extra scholar boon also makes it pretty damn useful with the 2 snaps, and if you wanna go snap viri snap ignis to do some fun combo go right ahead. Progression wise, fun if mage, useless if not tomeless.
@@juliov8235 it is noticeable played castellan dark sigil with snap viri and snap ignis for over 40 hours that shit makes it way easier to combo dont spout nonsense
castellan is bad in gaia, but its actually really broken in khei with uber mages (especially lich but idk since i only main lich) increased spell damage, 1 more brand and extra blessing is just generally really good. put mana arm and curse stacks on top of that and oh my god double snap means you can have snap gelidus to escape + cold heart while having the stupidly unbalanced snap nocere to kick ass the 1.25x mana charge helps a lot more than you think it would, it makes your mana charge go faster but not so fast that its hard to get the right % for snaps. it also lets you inf combo a lot easier imo even tho morvid and ashiin lich meta popped up (thanks, captainfight), castellan is still generally on top due to tsorian just all around good for (uber) mage
