Wow! Thank you so much! What a detailed breakdown of the best uses for each, I truly appreciate this video. I’ve seen various videos but not like this, keep up the amazing work!!
Loving this video! Thanks for it! Now I see what you mean, but I still like the processor for the frozen fruits for sorbets! And I also like the stainless steel container also! Bravo! Wicked job!🎉
I feel like my Ascent container doesn’t always mix my frozen fruits well! They stop mixing/turning! It feels like I have to put liquid in it first. Although I don’t believe I saw you put it in yours. Some people also put in corn syrup for the consistency of the sorbets too or their Sherberts too😢. Any advice? For the mixing of the 2? I.e. ( Sorbets vs Sherberts).
Hi Mignonne. Please watch my video for How to Use a Vitamix Blender (101). In the video I show how to properly load a Vitamix for making smoothies, frozen desserts, and different recipes. You may see me using a preset but I generally don't use presets as you get mixed results. Manual control is better. Always using the Tamper for frozen desserts and you may have to use the Tamper for select smoothie recipes depending on ingredients. ua-cam.com/video/z0K9fDrtGCY/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for this video. I now see the benefit of each type of attachment! I’ll stick to the jar to make my frozen desserts. Looking forward to getting the food processor attachment for chopping and slicing my large salads and other recipes!
Love the side-by-side comparison videos! As long as I've owned a Vitamix, I never once thought to grate Parmesan cheese in it. :D Here in Wisconsin it's going to be 90+F this weekend so those sorbets are now on the menu! :)
This was a great EDUCATION Video for newbies. It addresses many questions that I hear all the time about why buy this or that container. This was so great to see the pros and cons of each product. Make sure to COPYRIGHT this video so anyone ponying your content understands that we are aware of WHO DID IT FIRST!!! Thanks for the great class. You should really do a FACEBOOK live class or two. Such an awesome video, Henry! I have the food processor attachment, but haven’t used it yet. I am going to try it out now! LOVE the side-by-side comparisons! Thanks so much!
I need to get the food processor attachment. When I bought my Vitamix, I got rid of my food processor so I have been using a small shredder. Ugh. Getting the attachment now! Thank you for this informative video.
Great video! I have watched several on the new food processor. The one thing I think I saw on most is that there is still food stuck in the lid between the blade of the processor that doesn't get completely shredded or sliced. About how much food is left unprocessed? TY!
Great video as always. I am living in Germany and still waiting for the food processor attachment that is compatible with the international blender base. Unfortunately, vitamix are not planning on releasing it yet, which breaks my heart a bit.
Thank you Madonnella! I completely understand. Vitamix always uses the U.S and Canada as test markets first on a new product, if successful they will release the new product to more markets outside these two countries. 😍
Thank you for the demo! I see you mentioned the grind/shred meat with food processor? How will you rate this performance? Bcz I'm thinking about making burger patties with this machine. Thank you!
I just bought the vitamix food processor yesterday. Which is better, vitamix or cuisinart? I love my vitamix blender and own a cuisinart food processor but its an old model. What do you all think? Tks
A vacuum system is a not a "proper tool" to get the job done. That's a gimmick that offers a very limited purpose for a very small amount of recipes. You can see my information on the following link to this video. And please do not spam my comments section asking this on multiple videos, especially ones that are not in relation to vacuum blending. Hi Henry. I’ve been subscribed to your channel for several years and enjoy your videos. I would like to ask you a question. Do you find it beneficial to have both the dry grains container and food processor or could the food processor serve for both? I am thinking about getting both but don’t want to get both if the food processor can grind seeds into flours. If you don’t mind answering I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
Hi Charles. The Food Processor Attachment does not have the blade design grind grains into flour. If you're planning to make breads or mill grains to create coatings for frying you will need the dry container.
Henry, fabulous comparison. I noticed you used the stainless container for frozen ice cream in the blender. Is this necessary to purchase the stainless steel container to get the best results for cold ingredients that you want to have a solid outcome ?
Hi thanks for watching! 😍. The stainless steel container is not necessary. Some prefer to have a stainless steel container vs. a plastic one. It's really about preference. The metal can keep frozen desserts in tact a bit longer though.
I have a vitamix A3300, I’m Thinking about getting the food processor, but someone told me to check out cusinart food processor. Any suggestions on which should I purchase? Thank you 🙏🏽
Hi, please watch my video review of the food processor attachment. I also cover a segment about other brands in the video. ua-cam.com/video/koIjPySQ5yQ/v-deo.html
Food processor would be great also for poolish to make ciabatta bread/rolls or any other wet sticky dough. The food processor has a 12 cup bowl...is there a minimum amount of flour to blend a small quantity pizza dough?
Thanks for watching and I love ciabatta bread! The blades reach to the bottom of the bowl but when making dough it may be safe to have at least 4 cups of dough ingredients for efficiency. I'm not an actual baker so I don't have a ton of experience making doughs. 😊
Hi Henry. I own a 750 model of Vitamix. I can’t get frozen desserts without adding a splash of milk or water. What do I do wrong? Is it because of the model or I should add more of frozen chunks? Thank you.
Just make sure you have the Vitamix speed turned up to the highest and continually use the tamper until the frozen fruit churns into a creamy texture. I show this in many of my videos. I never add liquid.
If it's just residue on the walls of the container then I would recommend scrubbing with baking soda. If you've been blending dry ingredients such as milling spices and grinding grains then you have tiny micro scratches from that producing a cloudy appearance. There's no way to make it look new again.
@@Daylin821 I see. You your post was a bit cloudy. I thought you were questioning the texture of the slaw. Yes of course kraut is generally on the reuben but I've been to a few deli's that offered the slaw. In the video I wasn't stating that slaw is the preferred veggie on a reuben. I was just pointing out the textures of slaw for sandwiches. On the other hand kraut is fermented cabbage and I have honestly never been a fan of kraut.

@00:52 will that food processor work with a professional series 750? (I could not understand exactly what you said there)
The Food Processor is only compatible with the Vitamix Ascent and Vitamix Venturist V1200. It's not compatible with the Pro 750.
