What is the lemon juice/ water ratio? One Tbs. Of lemon juice to how much water?

I know my dear.🥰 But that's just the nature of dehydrating food. The food is dried at a low temperature, which takes time. Obviously, different dehydrators work differently and may therefore, be much quicker.
So spend £10 on electricity to dehydrate a couple of bananas 🍌 🤔
Most large dehydrators use about one kWh per hour or less. According to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) the average cost for standard electricity in the UK in last year was 18.9p/kWh. You need 6-12 hours to dehydrate these banana chips, depending on factors such as the dehydrator you own etc. If I have done my calculation properly, its going to cost you about 2 pounds assuming a dehydration time of 24 hours (plus a bit more for the fruit). I think this is a small price to pay, considering you are making a snack with no preservatives whatsoever. Having said that, dehydration is sort of like having fishing as a hobby. We could say that about many things; why cook food at home when you can buy a ready-meal for a few euros/pounds? Like one of the many things in life, you either enjoy dehydrating your own food or you dont. I hope this helps and thank you so much for leaving a kind comment.
