Good stuff! but for anyone else doing this, don't go beyond what the machine had when it was new, in terms of grouser height! I have seen a fella spend all day welding 2 inch grousers on his traxcavator, only to find the thing would not turn at all because the inside track would not slip to allow a turn! He had to go round again the next day and trim them all back half way with his oxy!
Wow, that would make someone mad. The neighbor is the one who bought the grousers, I only welded them on. But thank you for the information, I'll keep that in mind if I have to do this again someday.
