Wheel and old axle has been my grinder stand for 20 years. Though I welded a differential side gear to the plate so it lifts off the shaft and I can swap whats mounts to it quickly.

A good reason to keep an old axel shaft if you have had to change one out

Those pipe benders are designed to be used flat on the floor, that way you can bend any length you want and also chalk out the angles etc. on the floor and place the bender such that when the pipe covers your lines you have the angle required.
