I think people need to chill out sometimes. Every time someone is released or their contract expires its always "dropped the ball". Sometimes these companies have more talent than they know what to do with. As we see with AEW, Tony almost collects these wrestlers and does fuck all with a lot of them. If WWE didn't have real creative plans with him or saw a ceiling to what they could do with him on the main roster, it is prob best his contract expires and now he can pursue other companies and possibly be bigger than when he was at WWE. What is good about this is it allows us to see if the company was really holding them down. Like in Drew or Codys case the went away, proved WWE actually was dropping the ball and became better. If Ethan Page or Sean Spears don't do well in NXT then we know Tony did the right thing by letting them go as opposed to "dropping the ball". Sadly we don't live in a world where every wrestler will always be used perfectly and to the absolute best of their abilities.

So tired of this crap. AEW and WWE have talented people on their respective rosters doing fuck all and collecting dust yet if someone leaves WWE people immediately start talking shit about how they weren't that good in the first place. YOU DONT WORK FOR THESE PROMOTIONS, STOP FEELING THE NEED TO DEFEND THEM! Especially by bad mouthing wrestlers who voice their frustrations and make the choice to leave. Some wrestlers won't be content to just collect a paycheck while sitting at home or being enhancement talent. There is nothing wrong with that.
I find it hilarious that people are shocked that the WWE does these releases now that Vince McMahon is not there. I like Dijak hes a really good talent in my opinion, and loosing a job is never a good thing. However I will say at least this new Regime instead of giving someone a stupid gimmick or a goofy character ( ala) T-Bar , or Max Dupree and potentially ruining them. Triple H will let someone go if he doesn't have creative. I Also believe he truly hopes that those people go out and make themselves better Like Cody Rhodes. Who is the top babyface in the company despite the smashing the throne and starting a completely new potential rival company. It's not now but it could have been a once point.
Dude deserves so much better. Dijak is so damn good. He was getting pretty damn over in NXT. Not to mention pretty beloved by the twitter wrestling community because of how often he interacted with them. Hell, he bantered pretty often with the UA-camr Santizap.
Dijak could have been solid mid-carder vying for the IC belt at the very least. I recommend people watch his matches with Keith Lee in NXT for a glimpse at just how good this guy is.
impressive, yes. at 6'7 and can mix it up with any style of Wrestler but insanely boring besides that. Insufferable attitude and very entitled. Let him walk
Imagine watching all of your peers get called up and you get singled out and tossed like garbage. All the other draft picks have at least had a match. It’s unacceptable for them to have spent so much so much time and effort, working and showing his improvement through their developmental so he can get moved to the main roster… only for them to waste his time and hard work by not even trying to do anything when he actually did move up. Guys like him and Cameron Grimes were dumped like garbage for no reason at all and it’s starting to become a pattern.
He had one of the best matches in NXT history recently? Really? I will admit I don't really care for the current gimmick and haven't been paying any attention to him lately. So, oddly, I half agree, he was in one the best matches in NXT history... against Keith Lee in 2020, so obviously, not THAT recently. I think he will be fine, at least in the immediate future.
I'm worry about Kiana James because they called her up way too early and she really hasn't done anything on TV and every time she goes out there she's coming out to crickets
so then WHY DRAFT HIM TO THE MAIN ROSTER IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO LET HIM GO A FEW MONTHS LATER!?!? What kind of message does that send to the NXT roster? 1. You have no seniority. It doesnt exist. 2. You can be drafted to the main roster. That also, DOESNT mean squat. 3. You can be taller, and look bad ass, and it means NOTHING.
I must be the only one who doesn't get aggro about releases. Look, I feel bad for Dijak. He's agreat wrestler and back in the black and gold days his mat he's with Keith Lee were awesome. But Solo said it himself. Dude was in NXT for 7 years. How is that not getting a fair shake. Obviously the retribution stuff under vince was dead in the water before it began and that isn't Dijak's fault, but hes 37. The main roster is loaded. What was he going to do if he came to the main roster? Every title scene aside the the women's tag is pretty busy at the moment, then you have the drama with alpha academy, the wyatts, the bloodline, the turmoil for judgement day depending on what happens at Money in the Bank, what exactly was he going to do? It sucks to see anyone get released, but there's MLW, TNA, New Japan, NWW and of course AEW. I doubt he's gonna be hurting for work and if he can go out and set the independents on fire and become a bigger star so he can rub it in their face then good on him. Ever since then both also feel like they’re stuck in this kind of purgatory where there’s just no buzz even if they are putting in the work and getting featured. At least Kross was given the chance though, Dijak got the rug pulled out from under him.
They just updated his entrance on
2k24 too.😑
The guys has tremendous talent, especially when he was in NXT... It's a damn shame they let him go
Swing and a miss? Brother they didn't even swing.
Remember when he was with
Retribution?
I never got the appeal of Dijak, like yeah he's good in the ring, but he had no aura, like he looked boring as f.
Like matt morgan?
What does "aura" even mean lol it's been driving me crazy how overused that word has been for the past month. Is it just the new way to say charisma?
@@philly_sports1558aura is basically the presence someone has
@@Peezy317BurnerAccount OK but I've seen it used in other sports highlights and videos where LeBron dunks the ball and It goes "+100000 aura" or a NFL receiver drops a pass and it goes "-100000 aura" like wtf is that supposed to mean lol I guess it's just the slang word of the year that basically means anything someone wants it to mean
Ok Jabroni
Was he owed something more than he received?
Another talent wrestler wasted by the WWE. So much potential. He did well in NXT gave good matches and got over in NXT. When he moved up to the main rosters in Raw etc that's when it started going downward. Even now I have thought of a gimmick which would have been a perfect fit for him to use in the main roster in Raw to get over. Again in the main roster in Raw they had no plans for him.
The same people who complain he vanilla and small can’t say this about Dijak! 6’7” and had a personality but still released. So fall back on the bad attitude trope😂😂😂😂
Dijak was backstage in Forbidden Door. He posted a picture of his glasses with the poster on the background.
That company is always going to be Vince McMahon‘s company no matter who you think is in charge let’s just keep it all the way 100 and people think that is the head of it that these releases and this stuff ain’t happening!! just remember if y’all are not gonna criticize WWE and it seems like a lot of y’all aren’t flirting around the situation. Don’t criticize AEW.
WWE is own by endeavor so its a mix of both. If endeavor didn't also own UFC I would see them just let contract run out.
@@ThrashAD720 Huh?! lol WWE let him go bud
@@flyguy7825 ontacted expired he wasn't released.
@@ThrashAD720 its the same damn thing dude lol
as good overall as HHH has been since taking the helm, some things just never change in WWE.
Trevor Lee can attest to that
It's the nature of the beast
There's only so much time per week, and you have to make sure certain superstars get time every week, like champions. So it's not really shocking.
I always looked at him as a heavy or enforcer role for a fee...like a coss between Boss Man and APA...least his shades persona
Dijak deserves way better elsewhere . WWE failed him
Old at 37...Man could been top heel at that age....
Especially with the late 30's and early 40 year olds at the top of the card in WWE.
good video
I like Dijak hes a really good talent in my opinion, and loosing a job is never a good thing. However I will say at least this new Regime instead of giving someone a stupid gimmick or a goofy character ( ala) T-Bar , or Max Dupree and potentially ruining them. Triple H will let someone go if he doesn't have creative. I Also believe he truly hopes that those people go out and make themselves better Like Cody Rhodes. Who is the top babyface in the company despite the smashing the throne and starting a completely new potential rival company. It's not now but it could have been a once point.
Wherever he lands, I will be watching
Dude deserves so much better. Dijak is so damn good. He was getting pretty damn over in NXT. Not to mention pretty beloved by the twitter wrestling community because of how often he interacted with them. Hell, he bantered pretty often with the UA-camr Santizap.
He has great matches. Yay. Hes boring and hes right where he belongs in the card. He belongs in roh
Yeah a wrestler having great matches is the point of wrestling🤷♂️. He's boring compared to who? Walter? Damian Priest? Joker Seth Rollins?
Dijak could have been solid mid-carder vying for the IC belt at the very least. I recommend people watch his matches with Keith Lee in NXT for a glimpse at just how good this guy is.
Unbelievable
I can't believe WWE let him go
impressive, yes. at 6'7 and can mix it up with any style of Wrestler but insanely boring besides that.
Crazy how quick drones are to turn on you
I'm worry about Kiana James because they called her up way too early and she really hasn't done anything on TV and every time she goes out there she's coming out to crickets
They released my favorite wrestler and didn't even gave him a chance.
X Division
Legit who? Nobody watches NXT, and nobody cares about these nxt jobbers.
"I don't care, so that means no one cares because I clearly represent the opinions of everyone else."
so then WHY DRAFT HIM TO THE MAIN ROSTER IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO LET HIM GO A FEW MONTHS LATER!?!? What kind of message does that send to the NXT roster?
1. You have no seniority. It doesnt exist.
2. You can be drafted to the main roster. That also, DOESNT mean squat.
3. You can be taller, and look bad ass, and it means NOTHING.
He will be back.
Is this really the Paul era???
🌲
All the fake outrage by this channels AEW marks is hilarious.
And people accusing Dijak of being a Fightful informant is... Not fake outrage?
@@Shadowjester1985 not if it's true.
Good wrestler but awful character
But let's not pretend he was setting nxt on fire
