People are acting like Bobby was fumbled in his second WWE run. If we’re talking about his first 2 years with Bobby’s sisters and the Lana storyline, then yes. But from 2020 to 2022 he was (rightfully) treated as one of the top guys on the roster, won multiple titles including the WWE Championship, and was part of several high profile feuds. Yes, more should have been done with The Hurt Business (Vince messed that up btw not HHH) and he’s been pretty directionless for the past year, but overall I would say his second WWE stint was a success. I hope Bobby Lashley and MVP goes to TNA and bring Sheldon Benjamin with them. TNA Hurt Business would be sick. If they add Moose to the group, it would make it unstoppable
Moose would not be a great fit in my opinion, as people need to remember the chemistry between everyone in the Hurt Business is based on off their real life friendship. If the Hurt Business adds anyone it should be someone younger and someone that they have chemistry with. Moose is already a leader of a group in TNA and it would be downgrade for Moose to be apart of group where he is not the main guy.
No one is saying that the Hurt Business is the equivalent to the Horseman or the Bloodline. But what is not understood by most wrestling fans is the cultural significance of the group. The Hurt Business is a symbol of excellence and the meaning is comparable to what the lWo means to the Hispanic community. Breaking the group up the way they did was...well...hurtful. The group deserved better and i was begging for a Roman/Lashley match...especially since The Almighty already proved he could beat Roman...albeit it was before he was the Tribal Chief. It was a missed opportunity.
Hey not even the bloodline is near horsemen, nwo, dx or any of the great factions They had the same finishes, same promos, and creative had Samoan co**s in them.
Look I am black, I’ve been watching pro wrestling for 15 years now if they going to bring back the group, does WWE have plans for them? it not going to be the same as the original group, I think it is better just leave it there and just move on. it was still dumb for Vince to break them up.
@Roger-Bacon For my community, it was powerful to see Black men dressed in suits being about the business of being great, instead of dressing like clowns, being stereotypical, or just dancing like fools. They didn't need to be militant or radical. They came in, handled business, won championships, and gave US an image of excellence. If that offends you, then I don't know what to tell you.
The hurt bussiness was a massive missed opportunity, cutting off the Hurt Bussiness so soon after instantly getting over really deflated the momentum Bobby just gained. it felt like a de-push on tv. if they are able to get all these other factions over, they could have done the same with the Hurt Business, WWE chose not to. Hopefully the Bobby and MVP could try to revive the faction in some form somewhere else.

I mean at one point every Champion in NXT were black… That’s not only Shawn Michaels decision but Trips too. So my point is this. I hate when people use race as factor. If triple was truly racist, Bobby wouldn’t have been at this past wrestlemania. Period.
NXT is the minor leagues. That's not an argument for glossing over race. The WWE has had a long history with issues of race and there is definitely a glass ceiling for most black wrestlers. Either they are booked as comedy acts or bad stereotypes. Even the few world champions have been booked as secondary to the other world champion at a given time. And Bobby was booked in a meaningless six-man tag match with the least over faction in WWE, the Final Testament. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for their feelings on Lashley. The previous year, they had him parade his "big accomplishment" Andre The Giant Battle Royal trophy. The one exception to all of this has been Bianca Belair.

I think the problem is people are looking at the overall pattern of black wrestlers not getting over or having a long continuous push in the WWE unless they are comedy acts like the New Day and R-Truth. To me the blame is on Vince for that, as he is the common factor throughout the decades and had the final say. It not like the WWE does not recognized they have a problem and they tried to fix it, but nothing they tried ever fixed the problem. If you look at NXT under Triple H, he showed that he can push black talent in a non comedy role, but when they get to the main roster it goes down tend to go down hill. I hope to see Triple H get rid of the Hollywood writers and try something different to get talent over that are having problems on the main roster.
The two babyfaces that should’ve went over Triple H at WM & didn’t are both black: Rock & Booker. Triple H also told Randy Orton & Vince that Maven shouldn’t be a member of Evolution because the Horsemen would never let a black guy join.

The irony is when The Hurt Business was first formed, people called that racist too since they thought they only put four black wrestlers together because they didn't know what to do with them. Trying to argue with fans like that is just as useless as they are themselves.
I commend Solomonster for being someone who will call HHH out for certain booking decisions and not just constantly give him passes or try to pin everything on Vince.

You can take the “racial” element out of it and this is still problematic. Nobody is (not a real word, I know) “unbookable” in wrestling. You can always use someone if you’re a great booker. Look at Heyman and how he booked guys like 911, he wasn’t no great talented wrestler but Heyman booked him so well I still remember him to this day. Triple H is not a great booker, he’s good with potential of being great but right now it’s not working imo.
I think maybe the main reason why Triple H hasn’t done much with Bobby Lashley is due to his age. Lashley is in his late 40s now and Triple H clearly wants to focus on the younger talents. It’s probably the same reason why AJ Styles hasn’t been used much since Triple H took over. And yes I know CM Punk is in his mid 40s but he’s only been back in WWE for a short period of time and he’s also a bigger star than Lashley and Styles.
As someone who is Black I understand MVP’s point. Black wrestlers are never treated seriously. We don’t get cool factions like the Bloodline. We are always played up for comedy. The Hurt Business is what could have been. Do I think Triple H is racist? No, but it is concerning that the only Black faction is The New Day which is a comedy act.
That has long been the story for black talent in WWE. One of the main reasons I stopped watching years ago. I do believe Triple H has racist tendencies going back to the Attitude era. I recently came across a video from a 98 Raw episode where he's. Mimicking a monkey while Mark Henry is walking to the ring. And of course, the infamous Booker T angle & promo talking about "nappy hair" WOW. Him politicking to get the finish changed is something I'll never respect him for.
I think Lashley & MVP want the Hurt Business back to help other black talent shine, did wonders for Cedric & Shelton. Seemed like the Pride had a similar intent until it met the Karrion Kross vortex. I think there's something to be said on how HHH books wrestlers that aren't in his longterm plans (Carmelo Hayes already feels like just another body, also remember what Swerve has said about him compared to Shawn Michaels) but that's a general critique of his booking style rather than anything race-related.
for the most part Vince saw stables as a way to build up talent and then split them up to make bigger single stars. The only reason the New Day was never broken up and feud with each other, in my opinion, is because of how merchandise they sold along with its' members resenting any break up plans.
I will disagree with this because we have two factions of Samoans in the Bloodline and Hispanics with the Judgement Day. Usually WWE doesn't do black stables unless theyre a comedic (New Day) or political or black world champions AT ALL Tell me where I am wrong outside NXT? Hurt Business had a following and they cut it off before it could really get big. This is tupical WWE...and anyone who isnt a black wrestling fan doenst get it because they fail to go down history to see the imbalance.
Symbol of excellence...is the same as black girl magic and all that other absolutely ridiculous nonsense?

@Roger-Bacon For my community, it was powerful to see Black men dressed in suits being about the business of being great, instead of dressing like clowns, being stereotypical, or just dancing like fools. They didn't need to be militant or radical. They came in, handled business, won championships, and gave US an image of excellence. If that offends you, then I don't know what to tell you.

Triple H is not a great booker, he’s good with potential of being great but right now it’s not working imo.

@@like2seeit86Wow! I didn't know about the Mark Henry thing, but I remember that promo he had with Booker T. This is not looking good for Triple H.
I’ve been watching you for a while and I also love your TNT show on Tuesdays with JD
I wouldn't say that it was Racial, i would say that a black male wrestlers were actually arguably pushed more under Vince's later years.
Would be dope to see them in AEW and pair up with guys like Hobbs and Scorpio Sky (or keith lee) if he comes back...
Salo...you gotta get off the wwe jock if you aint getting paid for it
Lashley liked one of my comments about him going to Japan maybe he’ll go to NJPW MVP & Shelton can return to NJPW and they’ll reform Black Dynamite and add Lashley
Damn, no more MVP and Lashley on 2k25. That's 2 wrestlers off a Ruthless Aggression roster on Universe mode.
As a Mexcian man who is openly vocal about what I perceive to be racist practices, this honestly comes across as unsubstantiated sour grapes from MVP. Bianca Belair is booked as WWE's Wonder Woman. That alone disproves his weird little theory IMO. And that's not to mention other prominently featured talent of color like Jade, Bayley, Damian Priest, etc.
It's HIS experience though!
@@TheLWebb100 It's the account of a man who is bitter that he was no longer being featured on television. Please, let common sense prevail. Not everything is a dramatic story or a conspiracy
Nobody would classify Bailey or Damien as black tho, Jade needs more work, so time will tell will on her and I don’t see them messing her up, but Belair should definitely be doing more the street profits specifically Montez should definitely be doing more NXT is the only place in wwe right now you can say wwe is really showcasing and highlighting there black talent
@@juansanchez209 At the end of day we don't know shit. We can only speculate, we'll see when he drops his interview.
@@TheLWebb100 That's what people seem not to get. They don't know his experiences. It's very possible he is personally privy to things that we don't know. I remember when rumors used to be out there about Hogan. And people would immediately shoot them down. Then all those years later that tape gets leaked
Anything , anything at all ... absolutely ANYTHING negative , is racist ...and by god we are absolutely bored of it .
People have to understand that wrestlers and their story lines get old. They're are going to be so many old wrestlers leaving. U have too many up and coming wrestlers like Trick Williams and other NXT Stars .
@@247bigrich wwe still primarily pushes older more vetted guys. Cody, Priest, Aj, Seth, drew, Punk, Gunther and many others. All top guys who have been around the block a time or teo
where's all of outrage for the wwe dropping yet another ball with talent?
@@flyguy7825 Bobby isnt a make or break guy for most fans including me. If I was going to raw and saw they pulled him from the card I wouldnt give a shit
Someone just had to play the race card smh.
Yeah it's really really boring now
Racism accusation in a company with a long history of racism? Wow how shocking... I don't think he's racist but I can't blame some people for jumping to that conclusion.
MVP popped up at Bloodsport tonight.
Maybe HHH didn't want to bring back a faction where 3 guys are near 50 years old if it wasn't going to elevate Alexander who was probably stuck. Maybe if they had brought it back for someone like Carmelo maybe.
@@scarlettmichanco8023 Imo Carmello doesnt need a group, Hes fine on his own. Hes got charisma and talent for days, I think being in a faction would only hold him back. Especially one where Lashley is the main guy.
Well, remember the hhh booker t feud ? Lol
I'm not surprised that bobby lashley and MVP are leaving WWE this summer since we barley see MVP on TV since he was stuck with omos which was a vince mcmahon decison triple H had nothing to do with that they should've reformed the hurt business maybe bobby lashley and MVP go back to TNA I don't see them ending up in AEW because that pushes they Ex-WWE talent in AEW agenda maybe who knows what they'll do next.
@kurtismorris9101 but the difference is that bobby and MVP have history in TNA together lol.
@kurtismorris9101true lol
There’s no future in the hurt business. Every member in that group is 45+ except for cedric.
They are not gonna bringing it back in hope that Cedric is gonna be the break out.
It’s pretty clear that Triple H isn’t a fan of Omos so I don’t understand why he hasn’t been released.
@@ThunderForce2000 They are Probs riding his contract out. Possibly Letting him train at the PC in the hope he can get booked somewhere when he leaves maybe.
And just like that, the HHH honeymoon is over. I said it wouldn't even take 6 months.
Its not like Lashley is a main eventer. So let him go. However, I was disappointed they didnt push Lashley to the top of the card when he returned to the company. They really f&cked up his booking from the start when he returned, but thats just my opinion.
?? They literally did. He was a multi time wwe champion and even beat all three members of the shield
I look forward to Lashley going to AEW, where he'll immediately be forced to put over guys who are 5'7 160lbs, and then sometimes we'll see him on Rampage
Exactly
Don’t forget them no selling every single thing he does
Vince has a lot to blame for, but that doesn’t mean Hunter should get off free, Hunter should have some blame on him as well.
Is Hunter racist, no.
But you can’t deny that if they were Samoan they would still be together as a faction.
Lashley leaving is WWE’s loss
great video. As always, Jason…… But I have to respectfully disagree when you say that triple H is not Racist maybe is not full-blown racist but I truly believe there are some racial undertones in his booking and in WWE in general. In my eyes. Triple H does have a some racism in him. But there are people online that one to look the other way when anyone brings it up. There's people on both sides. The fence sounds say that he's not racist. Some say that he is racist and everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I will say for me personally. I am always considered HHH somewhat racist. I'm sorry if that absent people. But I'm only saying how I feel. I mean his father-in-law is the king of racism
Thanks!
Yes it definitely sucks to see both Lashley and MVP walk out the door. I don't think that Lashley was fumbled per se but yes they definitely could have done a lot more with him let alone the hurt business.
Also yes you can call Triple H out on how certain wrestlers were booked & not done enough but all this stuff people were talking last week that "Triple H's racist" this just feels very blown out of proportion
If they in AEW could be call a TCB taking care of Business
Duh, how do people not know Triple H, Vince McMahon, & the McMahon family really don't care about elevating black talent in the leader of professional wrestling. I really hope that the hurt business debuts in aew as the beatdown clan.
Personally i liked Bobby but when they teamed him up with the Profits i felt they he just sucked the life and charisma out the Street Profits and MVP bitching about Hurt Business it was good but it's time to move on he been living in the past
ALSO EVERYONE CRYING ABOUT THE MANIA HE ONE THE ATG TROPHY TO STAND ON STAGE PEOPLE FORGET THAT BOBBY WAS GOING TO WRESTLE BRAY AT THAT MANIA AND WE KNOW WHY DIDN'T HAPPEN NOW 😢
No it don’t make him a racist for letting em get together! But I’m shock because trips loves factions so idk how that was maybe trips figured maybe the profits would benefit and it didn’t work! Yeah idk know why but I don’t think he is a racist because trips was high on Keith Lee, Cargill, Belair, melo, trick, femi, new day, and then not to mention all the Hispanic! Yeah the older guys ain’t being pushed trips is about the younger stars! So I’d say that instead but Lashley will dominate anywhere he goes hopefully if he goes to ÁEW he is used properly! TNA is a good fit but the money might be the issue who knows we will find out eventually though! I just don’t see it being a racist issue especially because WWE is so much more diverse now than ever before!
IF HHH IS NOT RACIST WHEN DID A BLACK WRESTLER HELD THE WWE TITLE FOR MORE THAN A YEAR
If MVP goes to AEW, he better get creative control for him and the boys.
@@leslysincere3374 I think the money is in going to tna tbh, if they go to aew I doubt they will be used better. I highly highly doubt it, they cant even find spots for guys like ricky starks, miro, malakai black and others. Yet you expect them to make room for others?
@Mclovinit8171 I don't disagree with you. TNA is kinda a niche promotion and if money was an issue with Lashley then he may not be opposed to TK's money pit.
