Good stuff, Chris. You’re a legend chasing elk.
That was awesome. Thank you.
I love elk hunting and now that I’m in my 70’s the videos like this one fill a void. I’m still an avid deer hunter and carry one of my 2 Bergara rifles the entire season. Thanks for the great video!!
Thanks for the support!
Sheeesh Chris, stud bull you got this man on! Congrats
Awesome!! ❤
Great Video! Priceless!!
Great video! I got the notifications on. Chris is a real one ☝🏽
Awesome hunt very cool country .
Awsome job
Awesome video
awesome public land hunt
What a great adventure especially on public land! This is the epitome of why we hunt! Beautiful bull and gun as well!
Great video! New Mexico Elk hunting is so underrated!
Really enjoyed the video. Both men were prepared and performed their jobs to perfection!
That's what it's all about, great video! Thanks.
This film was very informative , true to life and enjoyable . Thank you
Good job Chris!!
Also in my early '70's & love my Bergara! Great video!
Love the mountains, love the elk!!! Never a bad day with either!
Awesome New Mexico Bull. Spent the last couple years hunting DIY in MT with zero meat or antlers to show for it. I’m so looking forward to adding a Bull to my wall
You took us there and made us part of the moment! Great Film. Thank You
Glad you enjoyed it!
Congrats on your success this year! Way to grind it to get that bull out of that area! A friend shot one last year in that same area and it was 4.2 miles from bull to truck! Its a grind!
I can't tell you how pleased I am with my Bergara 300 Win-Mag Wilderness Rifle! I have taken three whitetails in the past two years with it, and every one of them have been clean kills at long range. The accuracy of these rifles are incredible!
Love to hear it!
Great video. Looks delicious
Hell yeah primo getting it done!! Congrats Chris onna another successful hunt this year 💯🤝🏾 best guide in NM
Awesome Hunt!!!
Awesome, I can watch videos like this all day!
That was the hunt of a lifetime!
Another good hunting story!
NICE
I loved this video. Not only inspires me to want to hunt. It helps me see that I am making the right choice by purchasing Bergara for my hunting rifle.
Thank-you for bringing this video to my attention. Helps with giving me inside information, to make my next hunting trip successful, thank-you for the tips.
Hell yeah...grt em boyz😮

Wow , beautiful country.
Very interesting hunt. Thanks for sharing.
Very cool video! Saving up for my Bergara Rifle purchase!!
Awesome hunt , the scenery was beautiful it was relaxing
Great hunt. Looked like a lot of fun. Someday I’ll have to try it.
Incredible hunt and that is one heck of an Elk.
Awesome video and rifles for whatever you pursue 😎
Great hunt, great rifle, and great elk. Every whitetail I've shot the past 6 years has been with my 6.5 Bergara. I have many options but I just keep grabbing the Bergara every time and it's never let me down. I hope to get one in a heavier cartridge soon to head out west for an elk.
That was awesome I hope someday I get a chance to do something like that. Good hunting to all.
Such an awesome hunt
I really enjoyed the video. 16:05
I am so jealous 😩 of this kick ass hunt your doing! It shows you have to stay jn shape, and when finally nail the bull your hunting it will feel so awesome 👌 and make you feel like you earned it and appreciate what you've accomplished 🤔🙂
Great adventure.
Just perfect
Any way you can tell us what caliber Bergara he was using, and how far the shot was, and GREAT video, it looks like the Elk was quartering away from you guys, and hit him just behind the shoulder or at the shoulder, and the second was just as good, Great job of guiding and videoing the hunt. I too love my Bergara's , they shoot lights out. Cascade Fellowship CRC 👍👍👍👍
I think in the video he said 290 yards. I was curious about caliber too.
Always wanted to go out west and Elk hunt just never happened maybe before I die lol
Looks like really rugged country. But I'd sure love to put my old body to the test chasing big bulls down there!
I dont know if it was camera angle or what but that shot looked like a pretty hard quartering away. What caliber was used on this hunt? 7PRC?
I'm curious there is so much dead timber there, but it doesn't look like it was burned. And the Aspen's end new conifers look like they've only been around for 10 years or less. Just wondering, was it a beetle problem or something that killed all the chroniclers?
Would love to be in that position again.
Great Scouting and Shooting! Wish you could have used more of the Elk; but understand there is a limit to what you can pack out. Just sort of reminds me of a recent PBS Documentary on Bison/Buffalo Hunting that almost made them extinct in just a few years... Those Elk are Huge Animals! The PA Deer I see look kind of puny in comparison.
Hey Peter! The whole bull was packed out, even the camera men got their work in. No meat wasted here.
@@BergaraOfficial Great ! Very cool!
I might have missed it, but what rifle was he using?
The B-14 Squared Crest in .300 Win Mag!
If you are not on private land where is your blaze orange?
Not required in NM, unless on military property!
Damn... I keep messaging yall cause I wish I was there!👀🫎🫎🦬 Get em boyz!! Love the sophistication that is going on! Sj exciting 😉
