- Boot Leather | A Series by Bergara
Meet Chris Trujillo (@shedsandheads), a New Mexico native, full time guide, and certified BA. We teamed up with Chris to highlight the work he puts in and show what it takes to chase once in a lifetime animals while making once in a lifetime memories.
In Episode Two, We follow Chris into a familiar unit where he spent over 50 days scouting last year. That effort led to guiding one of his clients to a massive 418-inch bull. This year, Chris is back to make sure he and his clients have successful hunts again. During this trip, Chris runs into a familiar face that has earned the name "Banana Bull" and he has grown into a New Mexico giant.

He knows his surroundings and terrain. Real badass mountain man and conservationist.
Love the process! As a South African hunter we’re raised on walk and stalk. It makes every hunt so much more memorable.
I hope the hunters you guide appreciate the work and dedication you put in to their hunts. Not just during their hunt but long before they show up.
The dedication to track an amazing animal like that. The respect you show towards the process. Would be a trip of a lifetime to go hunt with you. Congratulations!!!
Beautiful video. I would live to see more.
Beautifully done!
