This model is identical to overcoming anxiety and depression. The root cause for many people that suffer from those mental illnesses has a lot to do with how they speak to themselves internally. Positive self talk is the key to success and many other things in life. I've learned that over the years; I still struggle with it but it's a constant battle and the key is to never give up being/thinking positive, as well as setting long and short term goals. Great video.

Keith, thank you for this inspiring video. I have already ordered my CCNA press book for the revised 200-125, and I am waiting eagerly for the CBTNuggets videos on the new exam. Not only do you teach people, but you also give guidance and advice to many out there who try to strike a balance or want to achieve something.

Hey Keith, may God bless you and your family. You've shown how much you care for others by taking time to do this video. I watched it over and over and it was one of the force that moved me on to get my VCP-DCV and doing MCSA labs on the side.
It's true as the curtain of my life pull down I'd want to have at least lesser regrets in life that I never attempted anything I thought I'd wanted to achieve.
    thanks again Keith.

I applaud your diligent research efforts and the valuable assistance you provide to retail investors. It would be greatly appreciated if you could also dedicate some of your time to conducting a similar in-depth analysis of Adani stocks. I recall that your previous update on the Adani Group was notably absent from mainstream news channels. Your commitment to aiding retail investors is commendable, and extending your expertise to those invested in Adani shares would undoubtedly be a welcome contribution. Thank you for your continued dedication.

is never too late, vcdx 02 Mostafa Khalil used to be a staff physician :) you just need a proper road map and keep working on it, however the fundamentals of IT is based on Networking from there you need to select your path, also keep in mind there are jobs in IT that don`t require a very good technical knowledge, like change manager , problem manager, delivery manager, etc. depends on what one wants to do

The thing is I know all these things, but the hardest thing is consistency. That's an obstacle that hard to get over I find.

    • @martyg2333
      @martyg2333 6 років тому

Consistency is truly the key. Once I get the ball rolling on studying I don't stop, In fact I'm actually afraid to stop because I'm afraid I won't start again for a while. Of course that means I'm constantly studying which can be mentally taxing, so I try to take about a week or two between certifications. It's difficult to find a good balance but you hit the nail on the head, consistency is key.

What a Video.....Keith ... seriously if you weren't an IT trainer.. ..you must have been calmness GURU....btw...great content...I'm pretty much at crossroads by self...I'm 33 with 12 years in IT majorly in data protection and backups...which forced me to learn about windows\unix\database to some extent.....this cloud is hanging on my head like cloud...one of my friend who is a cloud architect says first do ccent ....network is the the most BASIC need for clouds and especially if I want to get in to Cloud presales or cloud architect and design ....do you think someone in professional landscape of traditional IT with no knowledge of programming can get in to cloud ....I m ready to do ccent to get basic done on network and do vcp to get basics done on virtualization .....then move on to cloud ....do you think anything worng in my strategy ...I am already designing solutions in storage and backups....and really wana become architect but not just stoage and backup architect but someone in cloud but then again my background in storage and backup should help me ...let me know what are your thoughts

Have you found an app that streamlines this process? Any app suggestions would be super helpful. I'm all for writing things down by hand ( seriously old school = cool school) but I'm finding it time consuming to go through all those steps on paper when I'm already in the "next steps" category in my head. So is this an issue of slowing life down a bit to make room for the focal point of goal setting; or structuring the demands of life by implementing time saving technologies? Maybe it's both!? And end ramble.

Its not trolling. Thank you Sir for your excellent videos. We are glad of it. Sir we run a
small institution in small indian town. Is it possible for you to show
us a sample of small enterprise setup all inside gns3 as you have
expertise in server, security, cisco, junipers etc. A single or two labs
setup in which all aspect of running a small company can be configured.
like Windows servers and its services with its clients inside vmware in
GNS3 with iOSv routers and iOSvL2 switches and ASAv firewall.
modularity to add different vendor devices in GNS3. Running every
possible protocols related to switiching and routering with mix layout
of routers and switches in designing the placements.

I just graduated with a BA in "Information Systems". I have no clue where I'm going with this knowledge. I do not have a mentor and am lost. I know where I want to go though. I really want to learn more of it systems, configurations and networking, but I also like programming. I'm teaching myself C++, I'm at the beginning stage. My question is, where can I take the little knowledge of what I have to work on making a move in a new career. I'm right out of school (5 years that is) but no experience. Please help!!!
Lost in the future of IT
