I loved the frog top for one reason. It kept my plate carrier from digging the buttons of the traditional blouse into my chest. If i wore the normal blouse i would always get a big bruise right on my sternum lol
I joined when we switch to digitals in bootcamp. Then got out before they issued these. I just missed the cool kids gear. Heck, we stilled used the Vietnam web gear with the new digitals on my first tour. I was so jealous when I got out that they issued my unit all new coyote colored gear, cool shirts, and new packs. Lol. We bought all our own coyote stuff on my second tour because the Marine Corps had the "if it wasn't broke don't fix it attitude" when I was in. 🇺🇲👍
Will you do the M-65 before Spring hits? What do you think of the MCCUU and the BDU uniforms? Will you do a video on those? The bayonet video was interesting. I didn't know they could be used for survival purposes.
