Just a small correction at 18:17 for anyone who didn't catch it: Rsh-12 has an MOA of ~7, so that would be a diameter of ~7 in. at 100 yd, not 16 in. Great video, TMP.
The flip down holo actually has added visual recoil in 1x, when it was added it was 3x only and couldn't be toggled, so they added more visual recoil to it to compensate. When they made it toggle-able they didn't remove that visual recoil from 1x
A nice buff that Ergo should do is decrease the movement sway of the sights when moving while ads'ing, I believe that it already does this but its only for hip fire Oh and having an above 50 ergo weapon should make it much more quiet imo.
24:00 another thing with 40 rounders in general is that the space is not accommodating for most rigs compared to the 2x1 50s and 60s magazines. A lot of loot hungry players like to loot up the big mags because you can’t them off of flea or they are expensive. But 40 rounders, they tend to come back way more and the space they take up as loot isn’t worth it. So overall, you get more bullets than 30, better ergo, and waste less money on buying new mags due to insurance.
one big bonus of the WMX200 flashlight is it has a IR mode that keeps the point fire bonus. that means during day raids you can leave it in IR mode and just switch modes if you need the regular light to blind. can't tell you how many times this has helped when I have rounded the corner on someone I did not know was there or got ambushed out in the open.
For your high ergo HK build, assuming you were using it in this video. You can squeeze a few more egro if you add the rear iron sight and more importantly the RL mounts, for flashlights, you can put these on certain hand guards but they each add 1 ergo and you can put on 3 for the HK
The reason the flashlights that need the ring don't give hipfire buffs is because they aren't coded as tactical devices. Tactical devices give hipfire bonus, but because the flashlights attach to a ring mount and then the gun, they are not considered tactical devices and give no hipfire buff. don't quote me as I'm not 100% sure but I'm like 99% sure

One thing I hope they do in the future is allow the ability to change the position of the buttstock on the buffer tubes/receiver extensions of firearms that have buffer tubes/receiver extensions, this should also allow you to have the firearm farther away or as close as it is rn in view for the player, affect stats of ergo and recoil, and how the optic appears for the player. You really don't though. Most meta builds for each loyalty level already account for everything in this video. Down to the specific attachments. This video just goes indepth-ish on the why.
I'm curious why you chose to recommend the flashlights you did? None of them are particularly strong in the analysis that Gigabeef did; the X400 is actually one of the worst performers when it comes to blinding/light output. For my money, prioritizing beam width and then blinding strength, plus the desire to have a laser, the Kleisch 2P seems like the winner in his analysis.
16:40 Yeah... ammo too, had this argument with someone who said MCX was innaccurate AF and I was saying it isn't, turns out he was mixing M62 with CBJ... 442m/s vs 725, ofc he couldn't hit sht
Just a couple personal notes, since I prefer to play the game a bit more chill, and not take every chad approach to things; - I'd argue flashlight visibility is GOOD. Preference and playstyle of course, but for me, running on 1080p, on short-range optics, having a flashlight that actually helps you see the enemy is a lifesaver. The tan light is good, shines those long corridors, and aesthetic too! A niche use as well with the longer-range lights, you can shine them into the windows on certain maps that haven't got the best visibility (having a light that helps me see from one knight to the other in Reserve for example, is very nice.) - For fighting? Absolutely agree that **in general** having a shorter gun is better. But as a friend put it upon me modding a Scar into a 3-slot foldable; "I love having my guns stolen." Yes, arguably, you want NOT to die in tarkov, and you should use every advantage. However, depending on playstyle, sometimes it's better to mod out a gun to be longer, that way it is *less likely* to get taken if you end up dropping. The best, albeit niche, example is getting a super-long shotgun, or adding a pistol grip to a shotgun even though it might not change the stats themselves that much. It just makes it take up so many more slots, that, if the guy that killed you is already packing someone's loot or is already heavy, taking your gun is not going to be worth it for them. I like to keep a balance between both, but with any weapon type, the longer it tends to be, the more *likely*, someone is to leave it.
Third wipe player. I started the wipe with the flashlight bug. I feel like a Laser or Flashlight are a disadvantage because they know exactly where you are if you have them on, so you can't surprise anyone. I know everyone says use them for better point fire accuracy, but it seems to just guarantee I will lose a gunfight if I use them.
use infill red lights if you want the buffs without giving your position away people can still see them but only over windows but it isnt that big of a deal unless your playing a map like shoreline in the resort
you just try your best to remember to turn it on right before you know ur gonna shoot someone you obviously dont want it on all the time unless you actually need to see someone in the dark
would love to know the difference between some common variants of different weapons. like we have the Mosin (Infantry) and Mosin (Sniper). is the only difference the scope mount on the Sniper version? or the OP-SKS vs the SKS. is it purely an attachments issue or are there different hidden stats? edit: about the flashlights giving point-shoot accuracy help, the 3 that don't are specifically flashlights, not tactical devices. at least how the game considers it.

Fragmentation still works, I got thoraxed by warmageddon through my left arm last night lol. Does that make the whole arm-armor thing moot? Or?? Im a lil confused tbh
@@TickleMePinkGaming ok tbf I was greeened out when I wrote that but I get that the bullet itself won't actually Penetrate the arm in its entirety but since fragmentation works wont that make high flesh damage/high frag chance rounds more dangerous to you? Since your arm is eating, damage spreads negating your armor, and if it frags you could just get 2 tapped to the arm (i was one tapped through the arm)
I haven’t been on your twitch in a while so idk what your sub sound is, but it used to be a clip of me on stream yelling “omg it’s tickle me pink” lmao
im having trouble understanding. so a higher convergence stat is better or worse? the spreadsheet talks about the size of the gun (I'm assuming weight and length of barrel + suppressor). does that mean they return to center faster? i just want to be clear that I'm understanding correctly.
Do you recommend the tan flashlight over something like the XHP? In my experience the XHP’s light reaches much further and is incredibly bright. As far as I can tell for blindness it should be similar though I haven’t tested
Can't wait for that armor video so my friend can watch it I'm soooo tired of him complaining when he dies to poorly placed shots on the enemy. Yelling in the mic about armor rng and I just sit there like 😐
But how to differ which mod will decrease horizontal or vertical recoil? The game just says mod xy has -xy recoil. About the flashlights, will the accuracy bonus still works if you have an IR-light on while daylight and not using NVG?
High ergo and high ROF is the meta the hidden stats honestly dont matter right now all guns are laser beams just use whatever gun shoots the best ammo you have
Do we know for sure if the convergence stat still exists? I keep seeing that it's supposedly gone in the google doc, and I saw null values on a different site.
I wish they’d let me spike my own ammo so when enemy looted my stuff they better empty the mag to make sure their gun won’t blow up with some hidden spike bullet among normal one
I tested a m4 with almost 100 ergo with one with like 10 ergo and it took the exact same amount of seconds to run out of breath/stamina. So I call bullshit on some of these. Also some guns seem laggy like the first time I used a spear it felt laggy because of the scope or so I tought. It feels like you are right about some stuff but haven't really tested it. Also about ADS same guns with 10 and 100 ergo, almost no difference, so saying the other guy already has scoped on you seems like a lie. I don't really understand what affects or hell I can't even keep the game on 60 fps cause their own Vsync isn't working most of the time, I feel like in a perfect world where everything works and the game is polished you are right, but since that's not the case and I still get 30 fps sometimes on Lighthouse even tho my GPU and CPU are at 40-30% with 32GB of RAM and 16GB VRAM, I think most of what you said doesn't really work "all the time". With this new info I will however try to match weight and different ergo, like huge difference, to try and see if the stamina is the same. The only difference is now I have max Strength so that will matter. But the fact that 2 guns both had the same 21 seconds until I was fatigued, kinda made me think why the fuck am I even using ergonomics. It is also very possible that the game runs differently for me, for example I met immortal scavs in my runs in pve, I even have a video I sent to BSG about it. So idk and most of the stuff you already called out I experienced or knew, like some guns I think AK 105? felt so good with 0 mods found in raid and destroyed 30 scavs 1 tap almost. Modded it and barely had 80 recoil or something, still felt good but somewhat weaker. Idk this game is weird right now, I'm waiting for Nikita to patch again and ruin my fluid 60 fps I just managed to somehow make (WITHOUT LOWERING SETTINGS, IN FACT I REMOVED FSR AND WENT WITH HIGH AA SETTINGS AND THEN THE GAME SUDDENLY WAS SMOOTH AND WORKING????) I remember one time I was running 1080ti and I changed from 4k to 1440p and the fps was worse, so I was mad and put it back to 4k, I suddenly had 70 fps easily, so I put a vsync on or forced nvidia to do it, and I ran 60 fps at very pretty graphics with an older card for months until the wipe ruined all my settings. So if settings mean nothing in this game, you get more fps on a higher resolution when normally you lose half your fps, why would your hidden stats or recoil work all the time properly on the same game? I wish it would.

Jokes on you, I main bolt actions to make the game harder but more fun for me haha. Plus people seem to get upset when killed by one for some reason.

Saw this dope thumbnail on stream last night
Keep up the good work my dude 🤙

11:18 now that is gold 🤣
I'm curious why you chose to recommend the flashlights you did? None of them are particularly strong in the analysis that Gigabeef did; the X400 is actually one of the worst performers when it comes to blinding/light output. For my money, prioritizing beam width and then blinding strength, plus the desire to have a laser, the Kleisch 2P seems like the winner in his analysis.
ASH-12 Enjoyers UP. Been running that bad boi like an smg running it down.
I believe convergence as a hidden stat was removed in .14 btw for anyone coming to this video late. recoil angle and dispersion are still there
16:40 Yeah... ammo too, had this argument with someone who said MCX was innaccurate AF and I was saying it isn't, turns out he was mixing M62 with CBJ... 442m/s vs 725, ofc he couldn't hit sht
Just a couple personal notes, since I prefer to play the game a bit more chill, and not take every chad approach to things;
- I'd argue flashlight visibility is GOOD. Preference and playstyle of course, but for me, running on 1080p, on short-range optics, having a flashlight that actually helps you see the enemy is a lifesaver. The tan light is good, shines those long corridors, and aesthetic too!
A niche use as well with the longer-range lights, you can shine them into the windows on certain maps that haven't got the best visibility (having a light that helps me see from one knight to the other in Reserve for example, is very nice.)
- For fighting? Absolutely agree that **in general** having a shorter gun is better. But as a friend put it upon me modding a Scar into a 3-slot foldable; "I love having my guns stolen."
Yes, arguably, you want NOT to die in tarkov, and you should use every advantage.
Those shotguns are epic, but not able to get thru door is sometime a problem :D
Bruh your streets guide is goated, got 2 bitcoin and 2 gpus in one raid
worst thing for me in tarkov is the up down, floaty ass nature of the recoil. Fire, but pull down to counter upward pull the weapon drops to the floor
Third wipe player. I started the wipe with the flashlight bug. I feel like a Laser or Flashlight are a disadvantage because they know exactly where you are if you have them on, so you can't surprise anyone. I know everyone says use them for better point fire accuracy, but it seems to just guarantee I will lose a gunfight if I use them.
use infill red lights if you want the buffs without giving your position away people can still see them but only over windows but it isnt that big of a deal unless your playing a map like shoreline in the resort
you just try your best to remember to turn it on right before you know ur gonna shoot someone
you obviously dont want it on all the time unless you actually need to see someone in the dark
Thanks For the consistent vids papa pink
would love to know the difference between some common variants of different weapons. like we have the Mosin (Infantry) and Mosin (Sniper). is the only difference the scope mount on the Sniper version?
or the OP-SKS vs the SKS. is it purely an attachments issue or are there different hidden stats?
edit: about the flashlights giving point-shoot accuracy help, the 3 that don't are specifically flashlights, not tactical devices. at least how the game considers it.
quick question: what is that lense effect you have going ? an item ingame, or after effects ? editing ? and why:)
I believe that is just the in game painkiller effect

WHAT
@@TickleMePinkGaming what bro they should’ve cleared their corners. (love the vids been watching since the cycle and glad you switched to tarkov, it’s my 2nd wipe wish I’d found tarkov a lot earlier)
Loud ergomaxed tan weapons is the best drip change my mind
Agreed
Are you still planning on doing an updated armor tier list/recommendations on what armor we should be using?
The latest one is updated!
Hey Cal, love the content, been watching you since 2018. I hate to be that guy but this is the second video you have confused the x and y axis. x axis is the horizontal plane and the y is vertical. Thanks for taking the time to make this type of content
Go back and watch it, the knuckle is moving across the X axis, the dots are showing where the x axis would converge in the middle of your screen. Yes, the dots are going vertically but its showing horizontal movement.
@@TickleMePinkGaminggotcha, thanks for taking the time to clarify!
Fragmentation still works, I got thoraxed by warmageddon through my left arm last night lol. Does that make the whole arm-armor thing moot? Or?? Im a lil confused tbh
Brother you need high octain brain oil
Lmao I know exactly what youre talking about
great vid boss as always
Thank you brotha!
AUGs have crazy low recoil, i love it this wipe
im having trouble understanding. so a higher convergence stat is better or worse? the spreadsheet talks about the size of the gun (I'm assuming weight and length of barrel + suppressor). does that mean they return to center faster? i just want to be clear that I'm understanding correctly.
Do you recommend the tan flashlight over something like the XHP? In my experience the XHP’s light reaches much further and is incredibly bright. As far as I can tell for blindness it should be similar though I haven’t tested
@@Schimml0rd damn I thought point fire bonus was for both flashlights and devices
Do you like the las/tac2? It seemed to do better on gigabeef tests for all categories compared to the x400
Can't wait for that armor video so my friend can watch it
I'm soooo tired of him complaining when he dies to poorly placed shots on the enemy. Yelling in the mic about armor rng and I just sit there like 😐
That sounds annoying
But how to differ which mod will decrease horizontal or vertical recoil? The game just says mod xy has -xy recoil.
About the flashlights, will the accuracy bonus still works if you have an IR-light on while daylight and not using NVG?
You're killin it on the content front my guy
Dirty Bomb? Havent hear that name in years. Loved that game.
Just on the topic of moa at 100 yards one moa is 1.046” so it’s not 16” for 8moa on the pistol it’s actually 8.368”
Can't believe the canted rds and rk-1 combo is back on the menu
Man, that MOA mistake is really gonna confuse anyone that's just listening to the video.
He's actually right for tarkov. The moa value in tarkov is double real life
Could you link the clip or video of WillerZ talking about the foregrips? You explained it well, I was just curious as to what he had to say about it.
He said exactly what i said
@@TickleMePinkGaming That’s not what he asked.
great explanations! thx
Anytime.
Pink ur a bro my dude one of my favorite streamers
What’s your pc specs btw I need to know what to get to increase performance
The only stat that matters is how tacticool the gun is
Does IR laser / flash give hipfire buff ? 🤔
very significant stuff here
High ergo and high ROF is the meta
the hidden stats honestly dont matter right now all guns are laser beams
just use whatever gun shoots the best ammo you have
Do we know for sure if the convergence stat still exists? I keep seeing that it's supposedly gone in the google doc, and I saw null values on a different site.
Amazing video!!! Well done!
You forgot the most important hidden stat, swag factor.
Survivorship bias only works when you get shot at and survive, not when you simply survive. I’m rockin t5/6 every run and still getting one tapped
illiterate much? I said im rocking t5/6 every run, not that im getting 1 tapped every run. @@Schimml0rd
Hell yeah, for the alg
I’m too high to understand any of this, yet I watched it all.
I wish it would.
isn't convergence not a thing anymore after 0.14?
There’s a difference between the aug a1 and aug a3?
11:17 man with lightning behind him
Dispersion, Convergence, Bro's making up new names for recoil stats and calling them hidden stats.
Thats what its called in the game files.
Right as I thought we were free from having to use the same 2 foregrips and optics to have somewhat manageable recoil :(
