I loved it too. Ryan was the brother that Clark wished he could've had. He may be invulnerable and is capable to save people everyday but it shows that he's not God and couldn't save Ryan. This was the episode that defined Clark's life.
Before this even happened i was saying Ryan was my favorite character. This was a very touching episode and left a tear in my eye. Something about this bond reminded me of a young girl i know. We met for a short time and I used to read to her. Instead of Warrior Angel like in the show, she loved a book called Percy Jackson. She was obsessed with it. I first met her when she was already sick. Similar to what Ryan had in the show. Nevertheless we spent good time sitting together and reading her favorite books. I still borrow some of her Percy Jackson books from her mom. When i read them i think of her and the times we shared together. I know she’s out there somewhere. This episode made me think of her. No matter how painful it was, i’m so lucky to have met and spent those days reading to her. She will always be a hero to me. Some things in life are so beautiful even though it can be painful
con este cap lloreeeeeee muchoo waaaa hice una mar de lagrimasss waaaaa y sobre todo cuando pusieron mi cancion inunde mi cuarto waaaaaaaaa abuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I love this version. Smallville should have put it on their soundtrack. Dishwalla was used a few times on this show. Wow. They have great taste in music. :0)
I used to always see part of own myself (morally speaking), in Clark's character on Smallville. I've lost that over the past 6/7 years, afterva very, very toxic relationship. I doubt I'll ever get that back🤷♂️
Don’t worry man ; You will get yourself back. No man can stray that far apart from his true self; even if it takes hell to turn back to it. It’s a Shame what we’ve become, When we hurt the ones we love And it’s a place I cannot go Anymore.
Any medical advancement finally loses. Many patients suffering from advanced cancer live hardly each day of their life. Though some of them want to believe “Miracle”, Ryan didn’t (because of his ablity). Ryan died peacefully, with the help of Clark. That is not his “superhumanity”,but his palliative care. Don’t you think so?
To me, God is irrelevent - it's debatable whether or not he ever contributed anything to this world; but Clark Kent and Smallville definitely did. They're fiction but that doesn't mean they don't exist - if they didn't exist then why are tears streaming down my face right now? It's such a sad but beautiful scene; I watch it when I'm down and it always heals me
When Joe Shuster and Jerry Seigel, the comic book artists, created Superman, they envisioned that he would encapsulate a Christ/Salvation figure that would save the Jews from the Holocaust. I completely respect your views on God-whatever they maybe--but I always thought that if Jesus could be compared to anyone, then it would be like Clark in this scene with the kid loving him. Just really moving imagery for me. I am glad this touched you so much, and I relate too.
ese video esta d eggs es muy triste kmo termina el niño ryan despues de que estubo en el laboratorio y kmo muere :( y la cancion te pone la piel chinta =(
God hasn't saved anyone, have you looked at the news? Thousands of people die everyday. Don't give me the heaven argument because why would a "loving" God be so cruel as to have us suffer on Earth before letting us into his paradise in heaven. Why don't we just go straight to heaven and bypass the troubles of Earth? A truly loving God would send us straight to heaven.
As far as anyone can prove both God and Clark Kent are fiction. But if I could choose between any of these two entities to exist based on the literature behind them I would choose God because he is all powerful and could save everyone. Clark Kent and God are examples of fantastic role models. It's to bad neither exist. The world would be a much better place if they did. People would no longer die of sickness or conflict.
One of the best ending scenes of Smallville...A scene to remember forever!
Oh, yes! I'm going to sing it soon at my concert.. I hope
Exactly, THE BEST ENDING ON SMALLVILLE SERIE, its perfect and deep!
The best scenes.
btw i believe this kid actor actually died a month or soemthing after this was filmed. and so they made his dreams come true.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Out of all 10 seasons of Smallville, the second season is the best in my opinion.

the 2 people who disliked this video are heartless cynics.
