I didn’t have any professional investing experience prior to my internship. Would be hard to do that without proper certifications. I think my willingness to learn and my personality was the driving factor.
Do you have any recommendations on what are the best non-ivy universties for finance. Or universitiez that have a lot of opportunities and connections if you know what I mean.
Some great non-Ivy undergrad business programs are UMichigan, UT Austin, Emory, NYU, UF😉, and plenty more. All schools have connections, you just need to know where to look.

I would either send it to someone I already had some sort of connection with, or whoever seemed to be able to make these types of decisions. And yes, LinkedIn is great to put at the bottom👍🏻

At first I was pretty much just adding all the companies that came up when I looked up “Private Equity Naples” or “Naples Investment Firm” etc on Google. I really just wanted to add as many as possible to give me a wide scope. I would check out their website and if they seemed like a cool company I would fill out the rest of the spreadsheet and send an email.
