I can tell you as a curvy SN shopping is not as easy as people assume, it's definitely not a roll out of bed situation. Many tops have high neckline or are too fitted, shorts look constrictive if they aren't a bit flared, oversized clothes will drawn me if I don't have some amount of strategic fittedness. I spent years unable to find good denim jeans because low rise was trending. Button down shirts will often give the dreaded boob gap on me. Spaghetti straps look disproportionately small with my broader frame/large breasts (and strapless bras don't support me) . High rise trousers are ideal, but many end up emphasising my belly fat.
Another one I forgot... It's surprisingly common for tops to make my shoulders look smaller, more sloped, which immediately throws everything off balance. A lot of loose, relaxed tops the are theoretically good for naturals fall under this, as they often have low hanging seams that de-emphasize the shoulders.
I'm flamboyant gamine and my sister is soft natural. And we sometimes share clothes! It is so interesting that something looks fun on her looks pretty normal on me 🧐
I love your channel and you're so beautiful! I would love to see FG ideas for different styles like FG office look, FG for a party. I just typed myself as FG with the help of a friend and your videos are very helpful for figuring out what to wear :) Oh and I liked the green jumper and the beige sweater, I think it looked really good on you for being natural lines
I literally have that exact rust colored v neck shirt from target. I am breastfeeding right now and LET ME TELL YOU it is not so easy to make a nursing-friendly outfit in gamine lines. I got that shirt because it happens to be easy to nurse in -- how would you style it for a flamboyant gamine?
I've never thought about that! But it makes so much sense. Can't go wrong with trousers and boots to add more structure and weight. Or even a boxy skirt with the shirt tucked in and some contrasting open-toed mules.

Hey Deb! Thanks for sharing your experience! I appreciate your perspective as someone with a different body style.
As a flamgam, I love wearing soft natural. Its my fave line outside of my own.
Yes, the round belly issue with flamboyant natural lines are the worst.
I've never heard 'flamgam' but i love it. And yes, same. I love how comfy soft natural lines are.
me too! not sure why we can wear SN but it's thing and i'm here for it.
same, I actually have quite a few sn outfits in my wardrobe!
This white outfit made me think of Meryl Streep in Out of Africa 🤩
The first look reminds me of Sade! Especially with the slicked back hair. So beautiful!
You look good in natural style!!
I love the jumpsuit! I would so WEAR that!!! Looks great on you!!!
I'm flamboyant gamine and my sister is soft natural.
And we sometimes share clothes!

Same my mom is soft natural and I'm a flamboyant gamine and I were her clothes sometimes.
The third look, with the long cardigan, I see my daughter wear a lot. I have a long, zigzag lines lacy cardigan that really works on me!!
Soft Gamine can't replace Soft Natural for FG. SG lines are constructed, crisp and tailored, SN lines are loose and unconstructed.
So im not absolutely crazy that the jumpsuit looked amazing on her??

Aww thank you! Yes, there will definitely be more FG styling videos to come.
I love your overall look on this video (your own lines and hair)!!
The first and second look you look like Sade.
Yess thank you!!
FN here. First outfit I would have french tucked the shirt and sloppily rolled up the sleeves for summer.
the jumpsuit was sooo beautiful on you.
Thank you!
Yes you look great in that 2nd outfit! ✊
I have a top similar to number 1. Haven't worn it yet. It works, though!
Honestly, I think it´s really hard to tell the different lines in this video series apart because everything looks amazing on you.
Awwwwwww stop itttttt.
