I love that you talked about incorporating items that are practical for you & your wants/needs/comfort, even when they’re not “in your lines”! This whole series is great, thanks for sharing all of these 😊
I recently found out im FG and still struggling finding outfits that look good on me. I dont really like bold geometrics or extremely boxy looks. I dont want to give up waist emphasis so I tuck in my tops, but my legs sometimes tend to look too long 😂. This is really helpful, you showed outfits that are really wearable but still so flattering for FG! I like the idea of mixing colours and textures, thats definitely something I would like to use in my outfits.
@@franibeard Yes it did! Btw do you have any tips on how to balance out long arms while wearing short sleeves? I sometimes look like a slenderman haha.
@@lucieanna6679 This is a huge struggle fo me too! I just try to make sure that the sleeves hit halfway between my shoulder and my elbow, similar to how a long sleeve shirt is more flattering at a 3/4 length. Hope that's helpful!
I found this helpful. I live in the Arizona desert and know how to dress flamboyant gamine in the summer and find it easy with skirts and tops. I have more trouble in winter!
I discovered the Kibbe test through your videos and found that I’m a gamine! I’ve always had at least 3-4 striped shirts in my wardrobe, ever since I was a teenager! ...and now it totally makes sense why I’m so drawn to them! 😂 Totally agree that they’re a staple! 😍 Thanks for creating these videos! 💛
I feel like you have become so confident on camera :) I always have to remind myself that I can look different to you and still be a FG because of where the yin and yang show up on me
Pixie same! The way Fran explained the way flamboyant gamines have such quick changes between yin and yang made sense of my type like nothing else has for me!
Yay, I've been looking forward to this video! As a FG I too struggle with casual looks. Eclectic styles naturally look amazing on us, however, I sometimes feel odd stopping into the grocery store or running a quick errand in eye-grabbing ensembles. I've been trying to figure out how to dress casually as a FG, but haven't figured out how best to execute an outfit (I struggle so much with casual everyday looks, as well as professional business/work looks), so your videos have helped immensely. Definitely looking forward to upcoming videos of yours :)
HAHAHA i saw this comment while i was out in public and i couldn't stop laughing!! I love the chain, and i'm still figuring out how i want to style it. But at least i didn't have a fanny pack! LOL thanks for watching, girl!
I looovvve the mules....I have been wearing shoes like that for work for the past couple of years b/c they are sooo comfortable and NOW am SO glad to find out they totally fit my flamglam personality!!! Also, I know you are now going with the more slicked back hair (which, yes is awesome) but I happen to love this big natural hair --- maybe b/c I am not someone who actually has options with my (flat, fine) hair.... but don't forget it still fits b/c...think-- Tina Turner, right?
What about plus sized FGs who no longer tuck in or crop their tops? You've shown some beautiful outfits in your videos, but I notice you usually tuck in your shirts, while I not only don't, I tend to wear my tops lower to avoid the whole messy middle.
Very observant! Just doing what works best for me. But a boxy, drop waist/ untucked silhouette is actually the recommendation for Flamboyant Gamine, so keep doing what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful.
Cardigans are too long for u. Also not only tops are better in short length, but also pants, try shorts or mini skirts. Try mini dresses. Everything up
Turtle necks and skinny high waisted jeans are my go to.. I loved this especially the crop too shirt and trousers.💙💜
That's my favorite look too! Love a good turtleneck and jeans tho.

Flamboyant gaminity is my new favorite phrase😂🙌🏽 your videos are so good, Fran! Thanks for sharing! Xoxo, Elise
HAHA yes!! Thank you for watching

Striped shirts are EVERYTHINGGGG! Love it. Thanks for watching!
So I know this is about fashion, but girl your hair is thrivinggggg 😻 yes ma’am! Love the looks as well. 💟
Girl, the hair is part of the LOOK. Thank you! It's so close to being where I want it and I had to celebrate by letting her out to play.
@@franibeard so true it looks so flattering on you!

AWW thank you. I feel like I'm getting more comfortable for sure. And yes, that's so important to remember!

I feel you! It's so tricky, so hopefully this video gave you some good ideas. More to come!
Fantastic video💙
Soft gamine here but... these outfits were fire! Really enjoying your content!
YAY thank you!!
