Great video, thank you! So…ebay now wants a 16% promo rate paid to them in order to get your listings seen. I was doing a 7% promo rate and sales were awful, so when those promos expired I went to renew them and that’s what they were asking for. Honesty, they can kiss my a..! That’s literally a 30% fee to ebay by the time you add the usual 12% fee they charge plus final value fees, etc. I have just decided I’m not going to promo items anymore on ebay and work to get built up on other platforms. I can’t give those people 30% of my profits, especially when their seller support is basically zero.
Yes it is more they charge listing type fee on postage as well
I had one sale for the whole weekend, I still thank god for the it but I’m trying to pay off debt
For me any holiday weekend usually is bad.
I did alright...not great but not terrible. People just have better things to do on easter weekend than buy things online. A lot of students are on spring break too. No worries.
Ebay sales were scary slow for easter weekend
I had 1 sale then they asked to cancel lol
I really want to clear out old inventory so I sent out 50% and 40% offers on lots of things (mostly my bins pickups) and it got me 24 sales! That's great for me. I'm sure I wouldn't have had anything close to that otherwise.
Tyvek mailers are recyclable. I believe they're #2 plastic if that makes you feel better at all ☺
Tax time + Easter = slow retail sales. It will pass.
Mogi Beth, on the dip in your Ebay sales .... there is a channel named "The Auctioneer Professor" here on YT, that posted a video explaining about a recent glitch in the system that effected many Ebay sellers. It is being or has been remedied now. Hope this info helps. He explains it better on the vid. ( :

E-bay is laying an egg for me. I have 675 listings and sold a total of 1 item on ebay this weekend. It seems my views have also gone down significantly. Part of it is that I wasn't able to list consistently last week. It seems you have to list consistently for months to have sales be consistent, but you have a bad week and ebay seems to drop off right away.

I noticed that you don’t accept returns on eBay, you might get more sales if you accept returns. You could have the buyer pay return shipping. Just a thought. I really enjoy your videos 😊

Yes live sales are hurting everyone so many lives selling items for five or less people are stupid after fees you are wiring for negative dollars
I had shut my store now for two years and wasn't selling anything and now sales are very slow so I appreciate your videos they are really encouraging
My sales this weekend were the worst I think I’ve ever had and I listed a lot. I have 3,000+ listings and I think my sales were $80. Terrible.
My first 10 days of April have been extremely slow compared to jan, Feb, March

Hi! Just curious as to where you purchased and designed your “ M” stickers from? Also, I hope your doing okay, I know you have been dealing with a lot in your personal life and that can be tough sometimes especially when you are struggling and have to be in front of a camera! 😢. You have taught me and helped me so much in a short time. My goal in the next couple of years is to become a full time reseller. I think so I too and selling everything so cheap
Comps on Poshmark are so low now. It’s very discouraging selling there. The live shows seem to dilute the value of items and buyers are offering significantly less as a result. I’m struggling to understand how Poshmark can see this as a good thing.
Do you feel like you accept more lower offers now that you are doing more lower value items (usually) from the Bins?
How much software do people really pay for fee for eBay store fee for list perfectly fee for posher va fees for office space etc

The average shopper for clothes on ebay doesn't even know whatnot or live posh shows exist... at least, i sell menswear so that's true for me but i guess if you focus on younger women maybe?
but most people are searching for specific articles of clothing in specific sizes, that's not gonna happen on whatnot. whatnot is just for fun and random bolos. another reason i prefer selling menswear i guess.
